We are so pleased with Jay and his company. He is very pleasant to work with, does a great job, is prompt and polite, and gave us a very fair price. I will use him again if ever needed and will highly recommend him to anyone.

Steve was very responsive, professional, and punctual. The work was done before the due date and we would certainly hire again!

It went fine Jay did what I wanted.

J & S returned our initial call in less than 24 hours. On top of their previously scheduled clients, they received many calls due to the regionally widespread storm damage & weren't able to take care of us for about 6 weeks. But they consistently stayed in touch with us during that time, arrived when they said they would and were done in less than 90 minutes. We would not only use them again, but would refer them to anyone in need of their services.

Went well. The team was fast and cleaned up the area well after they were completed.

Don't waste your time with this outfit unless you enjoy paying at least Triple or more the going rates for services.

What I wanted to have done he told me in so many words that he wasn't trying to do all that. He didn't want to mess with the main trees, he didn't want to do all that. He was very cordial. He returned my calls. We talked on the phone while he was in my yard supposedly. It's hard when you work during the day.

I would definitely use them again. He is coming back. It is amazing to see the guy who does the work swinging from tree to tree. The price that he quotes is a really great price for the service that he provides. It took him about an hour and a half.

I told them at the time that whenever he had the time to do it, because it was not an emergency situation. He just came out and gave me the estimate to cut down another tree. I chose them because I had other estimates of the work that needed done, and they were way more expensive than what he was. Whenever he did the work, even though it wasn't as expensive, he cleared everything up and cleaned everything up, and left no garbage, nothing.

Within an hour and a half, my yard looked amazing! The crew worked quickly and cleaned up so well, that nobody would have known any work was done. When the job was completed, Jay once again walked around with me to see if I had questions about anything that was done. Everybody that I dealt with at J&S was professional, kind, and just great to work with! I know I’ll be needing more tree work next year and I’ll definitely call J&S to complete the job. In the meantime, I will be singing their praises to all my friends and family.

They did everything they set out to do, and stayed within the budget estimate -- a great job!

Steve provides excellent communications with his customers. He was in constant touch with scheduling updates due to inclement winter weather. Finished the job up in two days between storms. Jay and the crew did an excellent job getting the trees down safely. They stacked up the firewood to be saved, ground up the branches and cleaned up all debris. They cleaned all the leaves and moss off the roof, topped off a tall Juniper and trimmed back overgrown shrubs and vines. Overall great job.

Had to wait to get on the schedule. Once here very good job.

bought Big deal for tree service and the provider would not honor the coupon so i had to get a refund via angies list.

These guys are the best. I called and left a message to their office. It was responded to in 3 minutes! The estimate was conducted within days and the work day was scheduled for the day that fit my needs. The crew showed up on Time and got to work and finished a very large job in 2 hours. They trimmed a very large tree that was overhanging my house, but I was concerned about the trim, so they had me stand outside and make sure I was happy with how much they cut and left behind. They trimmed very large bushes/trees that had grown up to my gutters. We discussed the height I wanted and did it perfectly. They brought down a tree in my front yard that was huge (my front yard is small) with no damage to my yard etc. Before they left, they just trimmed up some shrubs in my front to make it look pretty. Who does that for free? No one except this great company. I can't say enough about their professionalism and quality of work!

This overall experience this time compared to the very first time we had this company come out years ago was terrible. We wanted him to "top" the one tree closest to the house due to two limbs t hat were growing toward the house. However, Steve told my husband by topping this tree, would kill the tree. I'm guessing a lot of my neighbors and the people who live here will be having a lot of dead trees due to topping. Whenever Steve comes he has a way of getting more money for the amount of work he does. This would not bother me if they would do what you discussed and have an understanding. We basically got a very expensive trim job. The quote he gave was on back of a business card, he wanted cash. He trimmed the big tree, chopped the two limbs off instead of trimming those back. To me, the more I see it, the more angry I get. He trimmed the redbud that we have and I wanted the one tree removed. honestly - I could have done this work myself and saved myself the money - this was a huge waste. what good is a tree cut if you can not replant something else there? Now I have a big stump there that will need to be removed. He missed trimming a tree that he charged for and said he would come back and trim that and take out 4 juniper bushes for $150.00 more. I was so annoyed with that comment. I called him and asked about the tree he missed and told him I could definitely save myself $150.00 and do the same thing he could do. I wanted them removed.....not cut off like the other tree that I now have to dig out. Also I told him he needed to give me the money back that he quoted my husband for the one tree that was in the original price and to my surprise - it was not the same amount that he told my husband, Steve said it was half of what I said was quoted, regardless - I wanted that money back - which he sent me, surprisingly! One more thing about this job - when we mentioned how he forgot the tree he immediately put the fault on my husband that he did not tell the guys that they needed to do that tree. I am sorry when you have a crew of people working for you, the boss of that crew should get the directions perfect to be able to direct his employees. Don't direct work to your workers then leave the premises. I don't know what happened to the Steve we had years ago that removed two big crabapple trees along our garage - I could not have asked for a better person or company to do the work. It's a shame that when you try to do repeat business, you want people to remember that you used them before and at least be fair in their price and not think you own the town where you live, you just live there.

Came when scheduled, on time, price as quoted with no stories about "sorry I have to charge you more". So happy. Tree & shrubs look great. No mess. It was a pleasure. No one ever shows up for me but Steve & his crew did. Will definitely use again.

I would call it excellent. Best tree work I've had in a long time. They called ahead to confirm the appointment. Had enough men to do all the work, and then cleaned up completely.

Great service. One of the hardest working crews I've seen. On time and great follow up. They are not happy until you are.

They called us back right away to set up the appointment and showed up when they said (for the appt. and tree removal). They did a great job on the tree removal and stump grinding. The clean up was also very good. The whole crew was very professional and polite.

The job went very well. They spoke to us before they started the job, then went and removed the tree with a team. once they were done they cleaned up the area they worked in. Did a follow up on the job of the tree they removed. Everything was great, showed up on time, job was done pretty fast. Would recommend them.

Jay and his crew did a great job. They arrived on Saturday morning and worked non-stop until it was dark out. They had to contend with power lines and a busy street in front on my house. I can admit I was nervous about this but they handled it to perfection. I got three bids and Jay came right in the middle. Rick Page Quality Landscaping recommended him so I knew I'd get a good job done and I sure did!!

Absolutely awesome. The entire team was so professional and did an excellent job. Steve was absolutely wonderful to work with. We are very happy with J & S Enterprises and would highly recommend them.
