LOTS of 5-star reviews, and now I know why. These guys hustle to get the job done right, but don’t rush the job, either. I had an overgrown front yard in desperate need of a clearing. Big trees, small tress, shrubs, barbs, hedges, weeds, everything. That part of the yard was horribly neglected and well beyond its former glory days. It just needed a “crew cut” down to nothing so I could evaluate what to do from a “clean slate”. The J&S folks did that. They actually had an opening and were able to get my job started (and finished) a couple weeks earlier than I anticipated. In one day. Professional work AND professional cleanup! They took care of it all – from annoying weeds and brush, to small evergreen bushes, to gnarly-rooted ornamentals, to thick vines, to a 12” diameter (maybe bigger) oak. A mix of everything most landscapers and tree service companies hate. But the J&S team embraced it and took it all down to the ground and cleaned and chipped the whole mess so it looks like it was never there. I’m so glad I left this to the pros. No more headaches. It’s done. Done right. And their price was amazing. Extremely easy to deal with and very accommodating. These are local folks who’ve been in the business for decades. Highly recommended company and team.

Steve and team were great to work with. We had seven trees on our property, which hands been cared for properly. (Two others had come down before we bought the house.) Steve examined every tree, determined which needed to be removed and which might be okay, and walked us through every step. He was highly communicative through the whole process. John and the crew that removed the trees were efficient, conscientious and great. They clearly know their stuff and looked after our property like it was theirs. Very happy with their service and would use them again.

All work discussed was completed. Steve was in contact with me before, during, and after the project. He and the crew were professional at all times. They were punctual and worked hard while here. The foreman made sure we were satisfied before they finished. This is our third great project completed by this company.

What a wonderful experience. It took only 2 days. The men cleaned up everything. Cut and put logs in a pile, mulched all the leaves and branches. It was a wonderful experience. The men were very nice to work with. Polite. It was way too hot these last couple of days, I hated to see them work so hard, but they did. They were here promptly and began working as soon as they set up.

Steve and his crew were wonderful to work with. They let me know exactly when they were coming, listened to my requests and picked up all debris. They shaped up my ornamental tree, cut back overhanging limbs and removed a junky looking tree. They even took away some limbs that had fallen in the yard. My gravel driveway hadn't been maintained for over 30 years. I asked Steve's crew to excavate out the accumulated mud and grass and replace it with six inches of stone. The driveway now looks beautiful! No more parking in puddles or tracking mud. The workers were attentive and polite. They asked me to inspect at every step in the process to make sure everything was satisfactory. Everything was left tidy and clean. Now that I have a useable driveway, I also asked them to remove an unsightly stone pad in the front yard and replace it with topsoil. Wonderful! Steve and his men where very attentive to ensuring the trees were trimmed to my liking. They removed all the debris and the yard was clean of tree trimmings.

The work was done sooner than expected. Very professional. They made sure to understand what I wanted done. Workers very safety conscious to themselves and others around. They stayed on task and left the roof, yard and driveway cleaned of all debris. Would recommend to friends and family.

I called J & S in September and spoke with Steve. He called me back in 3 hours of my original call. He came out and gave a reasonable estimate for the work. He listened carefully for what I wanted. We scheduled an appointment for 11/6. The 4 man crew arrived for the appointment. They began to work on trimming the tree. Jonathan the crew leader along with Joe and Russ, all worked equally. Russ took it upon himself to rack up leaves in our front yard. Joe and Jonathan consulted on how best to trim the tree. They worked as a team, and cleaned up all the brush, and debris. They also made sure that I was completely satisfied with the job before they left. I will definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors and will call them again, for future tree work.

Excellent service. Steve was very responsive and transparent during the scheduling and days leading up to the work. Team was punctual, quick and efficient and communicated well during the work. Very professional. Price seemed lower than competitors.

J&S was able to schedule a team to clean up the yard much faster than other providers, which is to say those providers that returned my voice mail requests for estimates. The J&S Team did a good job, Steve keeps in contact with you and the work is priced right. No hesitation recommending them.

Job went great! The dead tree had a couple big broke branches hanging,that had my wife and myself worried but he came and got the tree down to the ground in under 2hrs.

When Steve came to see what services needed to be done he was very personable, understood exactly what I wanted done and I was given a quote I felt was very fair. Steve came the morning the work was to be done introduced me to his crew. He then directed his crew to what was to be done. During a visit by Steve, the co-owner, who provided me with a very reasonable and free estimate, the work was scheduled. On the agreed-upon date Steve contacted me in order to assure me that his crew was underway. Led by diligent and courteous co-owner Jay, the crew did an exemplarily thorough job, including a bit of extra work which Steve felt needed to be done in order to meet his high standards and for which there was no extra charge. Steve and his crew are to be commended for completing a job that was not uncomplicated and for doing so with enthusiasm, professionalism, and courtesy. Based on my experience, I am pleased to give J & S Enterprises my enthusiastic endorsement and will certainly and heartily recommend J & S to my friends and neighbors. One piece of advice-- Since J & S is in great demand, no doubt attributable to the quality of their work and their reasonable charges, it behooves clients to schedule work well in advance, as I did.

J&S removed a large pine tree from my front yard, and did a great job. They were affordable, professional, quick, and touched base with me the week before and the day before they arrived to cut down the tree. We will absolutely hire them again.

Received bid in September, hired in October. Due to weather and their scheduling, work was performed in late December. Steve meet with me several times since the scope of my project changed. The crew arrived on the scheduled day/time and after a walk through and explanation completed the project within 3 hours to my satisfaction. Getting beyond the scheduling and having to request a receipt, I am satisfied with their work performance. Even referring an acquaintance to them.

The owners where both on site at the start of the job. They both went over what service was being completed. Crew showed up on time and was polite. Give this CO. a try ..you will not be disappointed.
