Description of Work: They came over and trimmed, shaped every tree, shrub, bush in my moms yard. I would reccomend J and S to anyone who needs some work done with their trees etc. Jay is very professional, and takes the time to make sure YOU are satisfied.

Description of Work: They removed a tree from my front yard in anticipation of other work to be performed by a different contractor. They also ground the stump and cleaned up everything. When getting the estimate they also asked about some other shrubs in the front they felt needed pruning but I explained that those were going to removed all together by the contractor doing the retaining wall and new driveway and sidewalk. Everyone from this company was very professional and very courteous. I would definitely use them again for future work.

Description of Work: They removed three trees from my prooerty and shredded the trunks and cut the trees into 18" logs so they can be used for firewood. They also trimmed three pear trees in my front yard. They were prompt and very courteous and cleaned up after themselves.

+ -1 moreI asked for and received an estimate. I was also given a day. I accepted and Steve called to tell me the time of arrival. Jay arrived on time and proceeded to cut the trees etc. His helpers would put the branches in the grinder. Work was completed quickly. Jay had me review everything before he left.
Description of Work: Cut down a huge pine tree and two hemlock trees. Hauled everything away. Cut stumps down to ground level.

They got to work immediately, made sure I was okay with their plan of action, finished quickly and even did extra work for a very fair price. They cleaned up well after themselves. We were very pleased with our experience from start to finish, and would recommend them anyone!
Description of Work: We had a giant tree downhill from our property line that had fallen into our yard, and was sinking over time. We wanted to have this cut back far enough for us to put up a fence and were considering some additional cleanup of that area as well. They initially gave us an estimate only for the fallen tree, but on the day of the job we discussed and agreed upon some additional removal of smaller trees, vines and brush in the surrounding area.

+ -1 moreWe had a little snag, but we finished up okay. It was partly my fault because I told them to take half the tree out and my husband put it in feet and numbers and then they wanted to go home. They didn't want to do it, but they finished the job. It all worked out. The work was fine. When they had to change their estimates, they weren't very good on book-keeping. Their business approach was not that great. Their price was reasonable. We had the unpleasantness, but what they actually did was fine.
Description of Work: J & S Enterprises came out to shorten some trees. We had a tree that came down and hit the house so we wanted the other trees beside it to be shortened.
