Rob is great! He is very knowledgeable and professional. He performed a full home inspection for me and took extra time walking me though his findings and answering any questions. His report was thorough and easy to read with photos, including drone images of the roof. Rob also coordinated the pest, radon, and sewer test, making the entire process easy. I chose Inspectioneering after reading multiple positive reviews and because, although I am not an engineer myself, I come from a family of them and felt his structural engineering and contracting experience was particularly relevant for the home I was considering. Before the inspection he was prompt in responding to my emails and flexible as we changed our plans several times. He arrived on time, and was well prepared. He was thorough and methodical with his inspection and was happy to explain what he was checking and why. As we went through the home and he identified problems, my confidence in him grew as he was able to explain the rationale behind every recommendation. What I most appreciated, however, was how he handled it when I proposed solutions to problems. He shared useful contracting tips and more importantly was quick to let me know if an approach was incorrect or dangerous. He did this in a bluntly honest but inoffensive way that gained my trust and admiration. We decided not to purchase the home but took way a wealth of advice as well as trust and confidence in Rob. I will certainly be using Inspectioneering for my next home inspection.
