About us

Inspectioneering, LLC is a Home Inspection company serving the greater Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. All inspections are performed by a nationally Certified ASHI Inspector. Our Inspector is a graduate of the American Society of Home Inspectors School at Cincinnati State Technical Community College for Home Inspection. He has completed an apprenticeship under a licensed Structural Engineer and has years of hands-on experience in all phases of the construction field, as well as performing home inspections. Also having been Owner/proprietor of a construction company, gives our inspector an advantage over most home inspection companies as far as knowing exactly what the client expects and actual construction experience. Buying a new home is probably the biggest investment you'll ever make and it is a decision that will affect you for years to come. The process can be extremely stressful and confusing. And of course, there is always considerable risk involved when making such a large purchase decision. A professional inspection will significantly reduce your risk and help make the entire home buying process easier and less stressful. We truly enjoy assisting our clients in this process as customer service is our highest priority. Our inspection report is a computerized, reader friendly document which includes pictures taken at the property site as well as illustrations that help our clients to understand the condition of the property. In most cases, our clients are able to view the report at the end of the inspection or on the next day at the latest. We strongly encourage all of our clients to accompany us during the inspection. You should feel free to ask the inspector any questions you may have during the inspection process. The inspector will point out deficiencies within the property and explain the cause of the concern. The inspector will also highlight the positive aspects of the property. Plus, we will explain what routine maintenance is needed to keep the house in top working condition. Along with the information provided during the inspection, as well as a comprehensive report, not only will you be armed with the confidence to make an educated decision on the purchase of the property but how to maintain the systems that encompass your future property. Our inspector enjoys his profession and his thoroughness shows it. We promise you will have a pleasing experience throughout the whole home inspection process and look forward to working for you.

Description of Work: Fair pricing. He was on time and did a good job inspecting the house. He even went back to look at it a second time because there was snow on the roof the first time. His report wasn't as detail as I thought it would be considering everything he was taking notes about while at the house. I thought the report would have more in it and the items would have a more detailed reasoning behind why they were in there.

Mr. Schwarz provided a very thorough structural inspection and analysis of our home. He was very responsive and was able to fit us into his schedule on very short notice. He arrived on time for the inspection and we were very impressed with his professionalism and the organized manner in which he conducted the entire inspection. He provided us a verbal comments on improvements that are required or recommended during the inspection and also provided us a written report very quickly. We felt very confident with the recommendations that Mr. Schwarz provided us based on his structural engineering expertise and Professional Engineer licensing. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the services provided by Inspectioneering and we would highly recommend this inspection service.
