The service was excellent overall. They’re very knowledgeable and helpful! They’re calm, relaxed, and they explain things in a way that allows someone that doesn’t know much about computers to understand. They’re all very nice people and I recommend them highly!

called Angie's List for recommendations for computer help since the virus prevented us from going online. They gave me 3 recommendations and I called Home Computer Help first. I spoke to Brian and explained my problem. Hetold me he could get tom home by 4:00 p.m. that day and I said that would be great. He told me there would be no travel charges because we were within the 20 mile radius for his business. He gave me his hourly rate and told me the type of virus I described culd probably be removed in the first hour or at most an hour and a half. He told me up front what the fee would be if it took longer than the hour. I agreed. He took my phone number and said he'd call when he was on his way. He called about 2:45 p.m and said he had finished his other job early and Would it be alright if he came now instead of waiting for 4:00 p.m. I told him yes and he arrived at approximately 3:00 p.m. He went right to work and was done before 4:00 p.m. The computer is working just fine and the 1 hour fee was just what he told me it would be. He was polite and professional from beginning to end. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with their home computer. I have had bad experiences in the past and good ones too but Brian was the best. He is my new go to guy for all my computer problems.

Could not have gone better. Very personable and professional service. Exceptionally quick response to inquiry (and on a weekend!) Arived right on time. Highly knowledgeable, practical, and responsive to my specific concerns and needs. Priced as quoted, except Mark applied Angie's list discount without my asking for it. I think I mentioned I found them through Angie's list in passing when I called for appointment. I am looking forward to a long and valuable ongoing relationship.

This was an excellent experience for me. As someone who 's computer knowledge is limited, I needed someone who is competent, professional and patient. Mark was all of these. I learned a lot in the ninety minutes he spent at my home, and would not hesitate to call him for any further computer help.

I had an issue with my Dell Laptop Computer with the screen & hinge, and Mark came out within a day and repaired it onsite. He was very professional and easy to work with. While he was here, he provided advice as well as ran some scans on my computer to make it run more efficiently. I would definitely use his services again!

Mark visited my home about 2 years ago to replace a failed PC power supply. He did a great job. Recently, I called on him again to help with a software issue and internet pages not loading properly. I emailed him and said..."My internet pages are not loading properly and I've done procedures A, B, C, D, E and F; what are your hours and when are you scheduling appointments to come over and fix this at my home?" He promptly emailed me back and said..."Holy Cow! You've already done a lot of work and eliminated most of the typical issues. But, I've seen this type of thing before, why don't you try procedures X and Y and here's how you do it step by step. If you're uncomfortable doing X and Y, I am happy to come over and do it for you." I did it. It worked like a charm. No more issues. AWESOME! He didn't even ask for payment, but I asked him to tell me how much I should write the check for. That's what I call service. I am delighted to call on Mark for all of my computer needs.

My son's laptop computer has been sporadically experiencing difficulty booting back up after it has been turned off, or unexpectedly shutting down. I left a message on a Saturday late afternoon, and Barb called me back on Sunday, with a suggestion for trouble shooting at home. After several days, when this didn't seem to work, I called back and my call was returned within 24 hours. Mark was flexible in his appointment scheduling, and Barb even did a Mapquest search from their home to mine, to be sure an additional fee would not be charged if we were more than 20 miles away. Mark arrived on time, despite miserable weather, and was professional and thorough in his evaluating the computer problem. Unfortunately, we will end up replacing the laptop, but repairs would have run us nearly half of the cost of a new lap top, and the laptop is getting old enough that we would anticipate additional problems in the near future. Despite the need to replace the computer, I would definitely call Mark again for future computer needs.

Mark and Barbara are so responsive, you call or e-mail and you get a response the same day. You can get an appointment right away and it's always convenient for me. Their base is north of Pittsburgh and I live south, but that's never been a problem for them. I received a notice from Comcast about the connection speed I needed and reached out to Mark. He advised that I should upgrade. He brought the modem and router and I bought it from him. How convenient is that?! I didn't even have to go to the store or order online and wait. He hooked it up, knew the drill with Comcast, and we got through those hoops. Made sure all devices could pick up the signal and did some clean up on the PC. What I like most, it that he makes it easy for me, in every aspect, because fixing my PC is not something I want to spend time on.

They were great! My computer actually hadn’t died, and the real issue was with the power cord. Mark was able to identify that and a separate issue with the DVD drive. He was really knowledgeable. Also, he showed up for our appointment a few minutes early, which I really liked!

Overall, it was a very good experience. I dropped my pc off at their house so this required some coordination but my calls were always promptly returned and we managed to make connections in a timely manner.
