Description of Work: Gil is an excellent handymen. He did a day and a half of work at my house on many projects-- fix toilets, snake sinks, replace grout, fixed electrical problems including overhead fan and outdoor lighting, plastering, hanging pictures, and more. He does it all. He has an excellent personality. The whole family loves him. He requires a bit of lead time but once scheduled he arrives.

Description of Work: Gil has done work for us several times. He does great work he is as they say "jack of all trades" He is very skilled. He has done some electrical, carpentry, painting, and electrical work over the past 2-3 yrs. he is very profrssional, and his charges are very reasonable. Only downside, as has been mentioned is his responsiviness to calls. Once he sets a job up, his follow through is very good. He is a nice layed back guy. Oh, and he cleans up after his work very nicely.

+ -1 moreI called him and he returned the call the same day. Agreed to go to the house (a rental) the next morning. He showed up on time, fixed the toilet (replaced interior materials) then called to say he was finished, but the shower had two inches of standing water. He said it was an easy fix but didn't have the materials needed to finish it and offered to return early next week. Very easy to talk with and accommodating. Will send me a bill online.
Description of Work: The toilet was rebuilt to stop constant running. He tried to fix the shower drain, but didn't have needed materials.

+ -1 moreInitially I was surprised that I was able to get through to Gil the first time I called him. Immediately I could sense that he was intelligent, friendly and highly professional - traits not readily seen in today's service field. Gil kept to his schedule and estimate. He was on time for every occasion, available for questions and offered advice about the project (that saved $$'s!). He was also flexible enough to work with my schedule. It was a large project with cumbersome materials and lots of steps and he never complained! I can repeat other reviews that throughout the project and each evening work was completed the house was just as clean (if not cleaner) than when he started. I'd love to be able to keep him on retainer!
Description of Work: Gil replaced base board and closet doors in two bedrooms.

Description of Work: Gil did a variety of items including re-installing a Sunsetter awning. He took the time to research it with the company to make sure he was installing correctly which I really appreciated. He also installed some deck railings on a small second story deck and fixed my storm drain. Gil did his work while I was at work, and when I got home, except for the great work he completed, you would never even know he was there! Not a scrap of building material was left behind. I will absolutely use Gil again.

+ -1 moreIt went great. Gill did a fantastic job. He worked around our schedule so that everything could be completed quickly. He also charges a very fair price. We had another handyman come over before him who wanted to charge a lot more for the same jobs. Plus, Gil is a good guy and very easy to work with. We will definitely use Gil again for future projects!
Description of Work: Gill did a bunch of jobs around our new house that we wanted done, and that I definitely could not do. He added three outside outlets and a motion detecting flood light to our house. He also installed a garbage disposal, added a larger sweep to the bottom of our front door and fixed the back door of our house which wasn't working properly. All for $250+parts!

+ -1 moreGreat! Gil is very professional. He made sure that I knew when he was coming days before, then also called on his way. In addition to carpentry he does electrical, painting and plumbing. I've recommended him to other friends and they are satisfied with his work as well.
Description of Work: Gil built a storage cabinet for my garage. It was exactly what I wanted. He made sure that it was sturdy and took extra steps to put a lock set on it. It turned out better than I expected.
