Initial call only regarding ant problem in our house. Spoke with Samuel Creegan who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me advice on what to try myself before having him or any exterminator out to the house. He did not come across as being rushed or in any hurry. He did not pressure me to have him come out and, in fact, told me to take certain steps before I had anyone come out to the house to see if I could resolve the problem myself. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and precisely. It was very helpful and I will gladly call him again with any other pest problems.

We had a problem of a few mice and one or more rats last winter in an 8 unit building I own. Using Angie's List, I called Samuel Creeger at ECI Pest Control because of the sterling reviews he had received from users of the List. I was not disappointed. Mr. Creeger came to the property, worked with my building manager, and resolved the problem within one month. We no longer have pests in or near the building. He was most diligent in inspecting the traps he set and making changes as needed. His bill was very fair. It was $ 160.50. I would use Mr. Creeger again and highly recommend him to other users of Angie's List.

They arrived on time, crawled up in our ceilings, and did all the dirty work. I think we've caught every one of the little pests we had. For all the services they performed I felt that their pricing was reasonable. They explained everything that they would be doing before they did it. They also had all the tools they needed right on hand. They came back for a follow-up three days later.

After having been frustrated with Orkin for years (didn't come but billed us, etc) I was looking for someone who would actually solve my pest problems (mice, centipedes). I can't say enough good things about Sam Creeger. He returns phone calls right away and comes to the house when he says he will. He follows up without having to be asked, and is conscientious about the environment in which he works (kids, pets). It is obvious that Sam really cares about his clients, and takes the time to explain what he is doing. He is one of the best service providers who have worked at my house in any capacity.

I have not had any other problems with animals. He monitored the problem every day. He was very professional and courteous. His pricing is very fair. He solved the problem quickly and stress free.

Sam returned my call within 2 hours of leaving a message. I explained our issues with centipedes and possibly mice and he agreed to provide us with a consultation. He arrived right on time, as scheduled. He did a thorough evaluation of our home. He gave many "do-it-yourself" suggestions as he evaluated. Once complete, he told me that we really didn't have that much of an issue. He didn't see any recent evidence of mice and he told me the centipedes should start to die off due to weather (he told me how to keep them under control going forward). He was sure to tell me that he didn't want to talk himself out of a job but there wasn't much need for his services. The consultation was $75 which I thought was a little expensive but he did travel sort of far so I didn't mind paying it. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Sam was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I was impressed by his honesty. If we ever do have a "real" issue in the future with any kind of pests, I'll be sure to call Sam first!

I called him out to my Home. When he got there he told me he could do the job for 350.00. Instead, He told me how to rid my home of the Yellow Jackets myself. He walked me thorough the Whole process and even did a follow-up call to see how it worked.I paid $35.00 to rid them of my home, Myself. I was thankful for his advice.

They were very knowledgeable and conscientious. He knew what he was doing and did the job that he could.

Samuel was punctual, professional and knowledgeable. We wouldn't hesitate to hire his company again.

They were absolutely excellent. He was extremely competent and took care of the mice over night. He was able to identify why we had the problem and recommended someone to us that was equally competent to create a screen for us to keep the mice out.

My phone call was returned within 2 days. I explained the situation over the telephone, and Mr. Creeger arrived at our home at the agreed upon date and time. He thoroughly inspected the house's interior and exterior, and showed us vulnerable places (yard debris that needed to be discarded, etc.). The kitchen turned out to be the trouble spot. Traps were set. This was not an emergency situation, but Mr. Creeger communicated very well, and didn't take advantage. He showed us things we could do on our own to solve the problem.

Mr. Creeger was excellent- he quickly came by to assess the nest and to provide an estimate for the job. He came by late at night to perform the extermination when all the yellow jackets were sure to be in the nest. To top it off, he stopped by the next morning to remove the nest itself and to make sure all the bugs were dead. He kept me in the loop during the entire process and let me know all the details on the process. I'd certainly call on him again to help out with any pest problems in my household.

Mr. Creeger was courteous, thorough, careful. He did not want to be paid until he finished the job, which was good.

The problem started when my daughter visited me during her vacation and heard screeching noises in the basement ceiling. This was surprising to me because we have never had rodents in our house during the 20 years we have lived here. I checked Angie's List and called Mr. Creeger's company because of their excellent performance reviews. Mr. Creeger called me back immediately and scheduled an appointment for the next day. After checking the area, he reported that we did have rodents. He thoroughly explained his proposed course of action and then set up traps. Because our comfort zones had now been shattered, he called daily and visited every few days to check the traps and to reset the traps. After several rodents were caught, he explained that our rodent issue would not be solved until the mother rodent was captured. Although the mother was finally caught, we are still utilizing his services.

He was on time, low key but pleasant, very thorough and professional. He didn't try to sell me anything and took care of the problem promptly in a total of two visits.

Ants have taken over the kitchen, looks like they may be carpenter ants. I called ECI after reading their Angie's List reviews. Sam Creeger, the owner, called me back within the hour. We discussed the scope of the problem, treatment options, and cost. Since we are located in Canonsburg, he indicated it would be an extra $30 to come out since he has to come out so far, which was more than I expected. During our conversation, he was very open about the troubleshooting process and treatment options, and he left me with several ideas on how to try to treat the problem myself. Given his expertise, honesty, openness, and candor, I would not hesitate to pay the extra $30 to have him come out if I can't fix the problem myself.

Overall, it went very well. My cat chased a mouse into the living room and out again. The next morning, I called ECI Pest Control and left a message. Mr. Creegen called back, but by the time I spoke to him my cat had caught and killed the mouse. It was the only mouse I've ever seen in the house, but I wanted to have the house checked for possible infestation, so he came out to the house. (See description above.)

They did a wonderful, wonderful job. The setting of the traps was very fast and the mouse was caught very quickly. I also think this was great because I am very scared of mice. They also called me the next day to ask if there was any other mouse in the house. I think they did very good job.

We recently called ECI because of a yellow jacket invasion. He came out right away and took care of that. He is always very professional, uses safe materials when putting down the regularly used control products and he is extremely knowledgeable about all the pests. I also like that I don't need to maintain a contract with him. He just charges me for each visit.

Excellent. Mr. Creeger arrived at the scheduled time and went about his business in a professional manner. He chose to wait be paid until it was clear whether or not additional work would be needed (based upon our monitoring further appearance of live or dead ants).

They are prompt, knowledgeable and conduct business with the highest integrity.

Mr. Creeger is excellent and we have hired him to come back to the house to repeat the spraying. We will continue to use him in the future. Also, Angie's List said he would not service our area, but obviously he did - so don't let that dissuade you.

The man came to my house and went above and beyond what i expected. He told me that i did not have problems that other companies thought I may. He saved me money and was pleasant to deal with. I will use him and recommend him in the future.

Samuel Creeger was a complete professional: came to give estimate within a day of initial contact. Once we decided to use his services, work was delayed by weather, and he was proactive about calling in advance to let me know he would not be able to do the work that day as a result (unlike other contractors I've hired, who simple don't show up w/o warning or rescheduling). He took the time to explain the problem, and what he would do to solve it. Offered to return w/o further charge if first treatment does not work completely (too soon to tell).

Samuel was great. I had discovered a huge moth problem in a storage room, and when I told him how bad it was he moved up my appointment so that he could take care of it as soon as possible. He fumigated the room, and advised me on how to contain the problem in the future. It's been about 2 months and I haven't seen any more moths. He was very responsive, professional, and effective. I highly recommend him. Incidentally, for some reason, Angie's List said he wouldn't service my neighborhood even though I'm only in Point Breeze (very close), but I think that was an error on the web site.
