We were having some concrete work done in an area that had been treated for termites before so it needed to be retreated right before the contractor poured the new concrete. We went with ECI Pest Control after the company that did the prior work did not response to my emails. Mr. Creeger was very responsive to my inquiries. He came out to look at the area and provided a quote within a couple of days. Due to the concrete work, the timing of the treatment was probably a bit harder to pinpoint than most treatments. Mr. Creeger was really flexible and accommodating which we really appreciated. We would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

I had noticed sawdust inside my home, and assumed the carpenter ants had returned. ECI came out and identified the culprit as an acrobat ant. He came back at least twice more before the ants were gone. While here, he also noticed carpentered bees and dispatched them as well. The entire jog was done professionally, and I thought the price quite reasonable for the number of visits. I was impressed by the man's knowledge.

I have used him for several years now. We found him through Angie's List. He was really great. He is really terrific. He is a retired chemist. He is incredibly smart. He knows so much stuff. I was really impressed with him. He is reliable. I never knew that the 1000 leggers can bite, he told me about it. Usually they run when they see us, but if we are sleeping. He went around the whole house and gave me advice on different things. I got rid of things. He is very professional. He is intelligent. I think I called him after that to ask some questions and he was very helpful. He got back to me right away. He knows what he is doing; he knows what products work and what don't. I had Terminix for years, they have a pest control plan too and I knew more than Terminix did just by going online and researching. I would recommend him to others.

There was a termite colony at one end of the house, so I thought it was better to be overly cautious and treat the whole house; I had more work done than would have been absolutely necessary. His price was not cheap, but I thought it was fair; if someone is looking for a low price, then he is not the person to go to. It is a one-man company. I think he has an advanced degree in chemistry, so he understands the materials with which he is working. He seems to be a trained chemist who has taken his knowledge of chemistry into a specific field of pest control. I think he had a young man with him to do the ground work where there was a lot of digging or drilling or such to be done around the foundation of the house. He is available on his cell phone and enormously responsive in terms of returning calls, but I can almost never get him immediately because he does not answer calls when he is with a customer. I am very satisfied with his work. He has come annually to go around and look for any signs of problems. I would recommend him highly. He is very professional in his approach to his work. When he first came in, there were stink bugs everywhere. He told me some real toxic poisons were available, but I would not want to use them; he told me there was nothing I could do but just sweep them up. I would use him again in the future if necessary.

I called after 5:00 p.m., and Samuel left me a message with his cell number at 7:00 p.m. the same day. The next morning I called him and described my situation. He told me that he suspected it was bats and that he would stop by later the same morning to check it out. He took a sample of the droppings and confirmed that I had bats. The whole thing was done before noon. Because bats are helpful (they eat insects), they are not exterminated. Samuel told me that I needed to have my shutters (where the bats were camping out) re-attached to the house. Because I live in a townhouse community, my property manager will handle so I didn't need any other services from ECI. I was very happy with the prompt service.

The owner scheduled a time for later the same day. He was very knowledgeable about carpenter bees. He met with me and explained that the carpenter bees could be eliminated, but that the type of wood that I have on my pergola (deck roof) is perfect for carpenter bees and that other bees would probably come next year to lay their eggs. Even though it meant that he would not get much work out of this infestation of bees, he gave me my options - all of which involved hiring a builder rather than an exterminator: paint the roof with many coats of paint, replace the wood in the roof with a type of wood that is 50% plastic, or remove the roof. There was one spot on the steps, where I was not planning on painting or replacing the wood, that needed to be treated. He took care of it later that same evening when the bees were not active. It's nice to work with someone you can trust. I will definitely use him in the future.

They were very good and reasonably priced. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

Mr. Kreeger arrived at the appointed time. It took about an hour and a half to trace out where the two types of ants were coming from. An ant-killing gel was applied in several areas, one of them being in the frame of a storm window! The ants were nesting in the insulation inside the frame! Mr. Kreeger called several days later to see how the ants were doing (they appeared to be pretty sick), and then came back a week later to retreat the areas. The ants are not as numerous, and those I do see are obviously dieing. It may take as long as 9 weeks to completely kill a colony. Mr. Kreeger was always prompt, and taught me about these ants and some other pests we have to deal with. It was a truly educational experience. He did not charge for the second treatment. I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.

After encountering bedbugs at a motel we stayed at in New Jersey this summer, we returned home and took the best precautions we could in case we had brought some in our luggage. After a week being home, we continued to notice new insect bites on our arms, legs, and face (typical of bedbugs) and decided to call an exterminator just to be safe. Samuel Creeger of ECI Pest Control spent a half hour on the phone talking with me. His attention to detail and concern were very comforting and being pregnant and having a young child, this meant the world to me. He arrived to our house promptly that evening and checked our bedroom and living room. Although he did not see any obvious signs of bedbugs, he treated the headboard and sofa upon my request. He used a minimal amount of pesticide spray. Upon our request he purchased matress and box spring encasements and brought them to our house and installed them the following evening. He was very professional, personable, and kind during this stressful time. I was impressed to learn that he worked for the EPA in the past and had a background in chemistry and environmental effects of toxins. After his treatments, we had no more bites.

I think this is the third time I have used Sam Creeger. He is a gem -- incredibly knowledgeable, honest, doesn't try to sell you things you don't need. In addition to the annual pest inspections, and related to them, he has become my de facto water issues expert. Every year, he identifies something else that could be done to make my basement even drier. That work is always performed by someone other than him because he's not in the carpentry or handyman business, so he doesn't benefit from his recommendations. But I do. He also takes a good look at my garden and identifies the source of insect damage. He is completely unlike any other person I have ever hired in this field. I highly recommend him.

We found ECI Pest Control on Angie's List and called. Samuel Creeger, the owner, was able to come out the same day. He was at our house exactly the time he said he would be. He was very professional and easy to talk to. He said that we had carpenter ants and successfully treated the areas affected. We found him to be very informed, knowledgeable, and exceedingly professional. He was a delight to do business with and I would definitely recommend him and use him again!

My tenants discovered a rat in the house. Sam, the sole owner of ECI,responded promptly to my request for extermination. He went over the house thoroughly and discovered where the rat entered, and we blocked that hole. Then he set several traps, because fortunately the tenants were to be away on vacation. It was quite a few days before we caught the rat, but until we did he was very attentive to the situation. He made three or four trips to the house, was very courteous and professional.

He was at my home for 15 minutes and charged $70. He also wasn't as personal as other workers I've had in my home.

Mr. Kreeger is a certified professional who knows his work and who treats his customers with respect. He listened to my concerns, suggested plans sensitive to my dogs, and helped me deal with the problem. He checked back regularly and is continuing to work to ensure the issue is irradicated. He even dealt with some issues that arose because of someone else using poisoning which could have been harmful to my dogs. For a responsive professional who knows his business, is fair with his pricing, and treats people respectfully, this is the place to go!

It was a one-man company. It was a one time protection of the perimeter of the whole house. The quality has been superb. It killed the existing termites. We have not seen another termite since them. It costed us $1800. He was not the cheapest but he delivered real good value. His professional competence stood out. We negotiated the best time when he would come; that is the time when we were available. He insisted on that. He was right on time on the day we scheduled and at the hour we scheduled. If we needed a pest control job done, he would be the person we would contact.

While having our house painted, the painter found an infestation of carpenter ants. We had previously used Orkin for a different problem, and they were a nightmare to work with. So using Angie's list, we contacted ECI. ECI came out the same day that I called, and immediately placed bait to make sure that the internal colony was killed off before spraying the poison. He made 3 calls to ensure that the job was complete. The service was outstanding, he was highly knowledgeable and thorough, and I would recommend him to anyone!

He approaches each problem like Sherlock Holmes. He's a walking encyclopedia of everything you'd want to know about any living thing you don't want to share your home with. He's one of a kind. Conscientious, punctual, honest, trustworthy and he gets the job done. He's by far the best!
