They were great but I thought they were a little too pricey for me. They were quick about getting me their quote and they were really nice.

A year later the roof started to leak again, and I am not sure if it was their fault or not. I would use this company again if I had too.

From the beginnining, it is impossible to speak to anyone other than to leave a message with a secretary. We left multiple messages just to get the roof replacement estimate. The secretary then passes along messages to whomever and they are always lost. When a rep from the company finally calls back which was almost 2 weeks and sets up and appointment, he failes to show up. This happens twice before he finally shows up unannounced, during a complete downpour and he stays for about 10 minutes and leaves. We then had to call almost 7-10 days later asking where the estimate was at. When we finally get the estimate, it was not even what we asked to be done with the roof. We wanted the complete wood replaced due to the terrible shape it was in, and it was not even considered in the estimate. Upon calling back, and going through the whole ring-a-round the secretary message to the worker situation again, they said that they would send another estimate out. Another 4-5 days pass and it finally arrives. Again, instead of doing what WE THE CONSUMER wanted, we were told that THEY will decide what will be replaced and they will only overlay against the existing wood and will not replace the wood as they have originally stated that they would do. They have wasted our time, and took up time that another contractor could have used to give us an estimate. Poor service from start to finish. Would never recommend them to anyone.

Their estimate was dead on, they were quick, punctual, friendly, and the work is flawless.

Everything went very well. They came and they were very fast. We were very pleased with their work and would use them again.

They do very nice, careful work. It can be hard to pin down a specific time, if it's just routine maintenance, but that hasn't been a problem for us. Typically, they arrange to come in about a week, and they leave us a bill, which has always been very reasonable. They're generally very prompt if it's an emergency.

Crew arrived as expected and completed all work in a timely and professional manner.

Perfectly. During the job they even repaired a gutter at no extra charge. I would use them again.

They did not take forever to get the job started and they got it done quickly. They were professional, friendly, and cleaned up when they were finished. They gave me an estimate, which was right on. They did an excellent job.

I live in Edgewood and have a 3 story house that badly needed a new roof. I called David Hood roofing for an estimate and a representative apparently drove by the house. He left a message on my home phone saying that because of the logistics of getting their trucks near the house they would not be able to do the job. Meanwhile, representatives of 3 other major roofing companies provided estimates and did not indicate that there would be any problems. I do have a driveway that is large enough for a large truck that would have put them within 20-30 feet of the house.

I would have to say that compared to a lot of people, they are very reasonable in price. So much so that I would not use anyone else. Their quality of work is very good, always on time and keep in informed on everything.

They did not find what was causing a leak and the leak appeared again. I have not decided yet if I will hire them again. I might give them a shot. I suppose the price is fair. I cant judge price cause I don t have anything to compare it to.

After a few heavy rainstorms, it proved the patching did not solve the problem. I contacted them to request a follow up visit. They would not respond to my calls nor attempt to contact me. Prior to this incident, I had used them on a number of occasions. Initially, they were very good, but recently they changed drastically for the worse. At this point, they have not billed me for the job, so am unable to state a cost.

Excellent work. Not only do they try and make it functional, but they also want to make it look good. They really know their job.

This company responded the next day to my call and on the first day when it was dry enough Ray recemented the flashing. Since he recemented the flashing there has been one heavy rain, but no water came in. Before the work was done water was coming in nearly every time. I'm very pleased with this company.

Three months after the repair he came out and re-caulked and did not charge me. He said if it continued to leak I would need new flashing around the chimney.

Initially I left a message with the company's answering service. I received a follow up call the next business day. Five days after initial contact I spoke to a representative of the company who stated an onsite inspection for estimate would be done. A day following the estimate a secretary called from the company stating that they were too busy to take the job and referred me to another local company.

The work was done in a timely and professional manner. The leak seems to have been repaired.

CALLED TO GET ESTIMATE- 3 WEEKS LATER NO RESPONSE. CALLED AGAIN & THIS TIME RECEIVED PROMPT RESPONSE. ESTIMATE WAS REASONABLE, & WORK WAS PERFORMED QUICKLY & ON TIME. WORKER PROVIDED ME WITH A CLEAR EXPLANATION OF WHAT WAS DONE & WAS VERY COURTEOUS. CAN'T SEE WORK DONE SO IT'S HARD TO TELL THE QUALITY, BUT I WAS RECOMMENDED TO THEM BY MY REALTOR, SO I'M SURE THEY DO QUALITY WORK.

I left a message with an answering service. I said that I had an emergency (Water was leaking into a bedroom ceiling). They did not respond for two days. I eventually reached the office & was told that the company did not work in the winter. When I told them that the leak was in the same area where they had done work in the past, they did not accept responsibility & told me to contact another roofer.

WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET A HOLD OF BUT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. RECOMMENDED THE $50 REPAIR RATHER THAN THE $1000 REPAIR AND SAID HE'D APPLY THE $50 TO THE MORE EXPENSIVE REPAIR IF IT WAS ULTIMATELY NEEDED. THE $50 FIX WORKED.

DAVID HOOD CAME PROMPTLY, CLIMBED UP ON THE ROOF, TOLD ME I DIDN'T REALLY NEED A ROOF, BUT TOOK THE TIME TO SEND ME A VERY WELL DONE PROFESSIONAL ESTIMATE. I FELT I COULD TRUST HIM, THAT HE'D DO A QUALITY JOB. THEY USE A HAMMER, NOT A NAIL GUN! I DON'T KNOW IF THEIR PRICE WAS HIGH. IT WAS APPROXIMATELY $6000 FOR THE ROOF, $2000 MORE FOR THE GUTTERS. BUT HE WAS THE ONLY ONE OUT OF 4 THAT ACTUALLY GAVE ME THE ESTIMATE.

THEY DO RESPOND QUICKLY. THEIR PRICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN REASONABLE.

THEY WERE VERY REASONABLE, THEY WERE EFFICIENT AND DID GOOD WORK AND CLEANED UP THEIR MESS. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN

REP SEEMED TO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE ROOF PROBLEM. WHAT THEY DID WAS FINE, BUT THE LACK OF FOLLOW-UP TO MY QUESTIONS HAS RAISED CONCERNS FOR THE FUTURE. I SUSPECT THEY MIGHT HAVE THOUGHT I EXPECTED THEM TO HAVE DONE THE WHOLE ROOF THE FIRST TIME AND WERE AVOIDING ME. I WASN'T.
