Of all the different carpet cleaning services we’ve used over the years, we’ve seen the best results with Coit.

Overall I am pleased. A Coit representative came a week prior to the cleaning to give me a quote. When I received the price quote I thought it was VERY reasonable. However, when the guy came to clean the carpets, he immediately started trying to sell me Scotch Guard, deodorizers, etc. I think that these options and prices should have been brought up at the initial meeting when I received the price quote. I had to spend a lot of time listening to his sales pitch. I will continue to use Coit for my carpets because they did an excellent job.

We had some pets issues and they did a really god job getting the stains our of our stairs and hallway. They came out promptly to give me an estimate. I did have an issue in the sense that when the sales person came out and gave me an estimate, I explained that I had pet issues on the carpet. When you have a pet issues normally you want to have some sort of deodorizer added. When the fella came out to clean he said it was extra. It was one thing if I didn't already tell the sales person that I had these issues. I called them and told them they should have told me it was extra, he remedied the situation just fine. It was kind of bait and switch, but they remedied the situation. We've had them do work before and this was the first issue we had. Previously we had a stain that didn't come out and they came back and remedied the situation. I might just get more prices next time.

Coit was able to pick up the rug quite soon after we called them. We received a phone call the morning of the scheduled pick/up date to give us a time when the driver would be here. He was on time, courteous and helpful. The rug was returned when promised. We've used Coit before to clean area rugs carpets with similar stains and have been satisfied with the job they have done, although there is never a guarantee that the stain is completely gone. They are a little pricey and the cost of cleaning this particular rug probably exceeded the original cost of the rug. Not sure if the stain is gone since we are not using the rug at the moment, but have stored it away.

I was given an estimate and an prompt appointment to have the work done. The estimator was friendly and professional. The individual who came to do the cleaning was very professional and thorough. He explained what he was doing and, in advance, where I might not get the desired result due to wear and tear of the sofa. He also warned that in my case the tile may not be able to be restored 100%, but it does look so much better. (He explained that how I've been cleaning it over the years actually attracts dirt!) He was in my house about 5 hours and I was very pleased with the carpet and the upholstery. One of his co-workers removed my area rugs for cleaning (though I had the option of having them cleaned in place for a smaller price) and the rugs were delivered and put back in place one week later. The area rugs look practically new. I was pleased with the experience. It was a lot of money to spend at one time, but my house feels and looks so much better.

They did a fine job with the carpet cleaning. I have used them several times.

I was younger then, and I did not stick up for myself. I do not blame the service provider, I just do not think he knew how to hang them properly. I signed the bill and just let him go. I had to call the person who made the drapes to hang them correctly. They cleaned the drapes very well.

They showed up on time and was a pleasant experience. I would hire again and recommend them.

Our basement shower drain leaked but the leak didn't show itself until mold started forming on drywall. Coit came in, removed shower enclosure including tile trim, removed damaged drywall, cleaned out mold and water damage. Reinstalled shower enclosure, replaced damaged drywall, replaced trim, painted so it was just as it was. They were prompt courteous and cleaned up each day as they left. They worked with my schedule and didn't leave until we were completely satisfied.

Their price was a bit high. There was damage done to a fine piece of furniture, but they repaired it and paid for it. But they didn't immediately site the damage. Overall I'd rate them a B.

The representative came and looked at the pieces and started right away. He worked quickly and gave me tips on how to allow the pieces to dry before he left.

We were going to have the walk-through of our house-for-sale that evening. The cleaners had been there but there was a large, distressing gray spot. It looked like a deal-breaker, so I called carpet cleaners, so we could get it cleaned on time. Coit was in the neighborhood. He was there in 10 minutes and it only took him 20 to clean it. The spot was gone, and the carpet was dry by the time of the walk-through.

It was more expensive than I wanted to pay and they did get the spots out of my light carpet.

This was the only company that I could find on Angie's List to do this work. They picked up the draperies for cleaning. We did run into a small problem and when trying to solve the problem, not all of their employees are created equal. One was awful and one was helpful.

Company representative made an appointment over the phone for the next day and kept the appointment. He evaluated the work to be done and gave the estimated cost and set the date for the work the following day. Employees were on time and did a thorough and efficient job.

They did a nice job. They didn't get back to me after 2 weeks so I had to call them and they told it was ready.

They were great they called in the morning, came out to give an estimate. They showed up on-time, had a coupon which they gave me. They were professional and did not make a mess. They were friendly.

I called and scheduled an appointment to get an estimate to have six panels of white, pleated sheers from my living and dining rooms cleaned. The service person came to my home as scheduled, gave me the estimated cost, and took the sheers down. We scheduled that he would return with the cleaned sheers in one week. Because the company was running a 50% sale on drapery cleaning, the price of $432 was reduced by half. The same service person delivered and hung the sheers. They look very clean and pretty.

The work was done carefully and the technician seemed proficient. I paid the charges to the technician directly. A few days later I noticed a newspaper advertisement by the company announcing a sale consisting of a 50% discount on work done before the end of the month. In response, I called to arrange for an estimate on some unrelated carpet cleaning. When a different technician arrived a few days later to provide an estimate and schedule the new work, I learned that the same 50% discount had also been in effect when the first work was done. I then asked that I receive a retroactive refund on at least some of the work initially done, to be applied as credit toward the projected work. After several phone conversations with employees, who promised returned calls that didn't soon materialize, I was finally told that the owner was unwilling to agree to any such arrangement. I then canceled the projected work.

They showed up exactly when they said they would and explained everything to me. They took one of the carpets with them and everything was done very quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

I was not very happy with Coit. I originally had them come to do just the three rooms, but they said they would do the hallway too. I was under the impression that it was going to be free for the hallway. It was not. I used them in Cincinnati and was happy with them, but I was not this last time. I just think that another well known carpet cleaning company has a better process. This guy was just trying to pull one over on me.

I used them a long time ago. The guy hand-cleaned the stains and did an awesome job. They got here when they said they would. They were very professional, and I would recommend them to others.

They came in, did a fine job and were out the door in 1 1/2 hours tops. They seemed very careful of the furniture, put pads under the furniture and were very tidy. Our rooms are quite large and had very little furniture to work around. One room was completely empty. I did have a hard time paying that much money for such a quick and easy job. I realize they charge by square feet and we have large rooms but it was still hard to pay over $300.00 per hour when you look at it in time/money to clean a carpet(and that was with a coupon)!

The work was completed professionally and competently. They even did the entry hallway at no additional charge. They were punctual and arrived earlier in the 3 hour window that they gave me. The workers were polite and efficient. They also asked if I wanted them to move any furniture, but I had already pre-cleared up the area, and didn't want them moving bookshelves and desks and just asked them to clean around them. There might be an extra charge if they move things, but I don't think so, as I think it's part of the service. The estimator was also very professional, and arrived 1 week before, was efficient, quick and knowledgeable as well as personable. (if that's important to you), I did refer them to a friend of mine for upholstery, and the punctuality was much worse. (That was in the city) However, I think the service performance was still good. So, your mileage can vary depending on where you live.

Before beginning any work it was explained what would be done to the furniture and carpeting and what to expect. The latex spots would in all probability not be able to be lifted and the furniture would temporarily have a slightly darker color until it was completely dry from all work. This was true and it did return to its original color. The two man team went about their work in a professional manner and were extremely careful when moving pieces of furniture. Upon completion time was given to explaining how long to keep off the carpet and just what to do if it was really necessary to put traffic on it before 12 hours. An area that was beginning to show wear was pointed out and a report of the overall condition of the carpeting was given. The team was in and out before we knew it.
