COIT Cleaning and Restoration of Pittsburgh

I use Coit Carpet Cleaning and Restoration - Pittsburgh all the time. I thought they did a good job. He was very nice and I like the job they did.

They came promptly and did a good job.

No problems , they called the day prior to narrow the time and confirmed the morning they came. They were promt and finished in the time frame they quoted. I did move same furniture (chairs, flower satnd) but I did not have to they would have moved everything.

Coit Carpet Cleaning and Restoration of Pittsburgh did a great job and I would definitely have them come back. They were very professional and careful about putting booties on when they came inside so they wouldn't mess up the carpet. They moved things around and put things back and didn't bump my furniture on the walls. I had full carpeting at the time and they did a great job cleaning it. They were good with the communication at the beginning by telling you what was and what wouldn't be included and by telling you different services that you could receive from them when they came out. Their prices are very reasonable.

Someone rubbed the shoe polish from their boot on my upholsered chair. They were able to get the stain out. I have also used them a few other times for upholstry cleaning, and carpet cleaning in our other home. They have gone out of their way to help me a couple times. They always do a very good job for me, and I will continue to use them.

My experience was been pretty good. They have sales a couple times a year. They come on time and are thorough. They do a very good job.

They were terrific. They were punctual and they sent two people to do the entire house in just a couple of hours. They were amazingly fast. They were very complete and moved the furniture and still did it fast. They run specials all the time and I wait for the specials to get a good deal.

They were a little higher. They were good. They gave me an estimate to let me know beforehand because I wanted it for carpet and upholstery. They were able to come shortly after that to do the work and they did a good job.

The gentleman who came over was in too much of a hurry.

They came out and made an estimate. They offer discounts frequently. We've used them several times and are always satisfied.

They were prompt, courteous, thorough and arguably did a great job, though the price point and the "sales" tactic was a bit off-putting. Given that the steps haven't been done in years prior to my ownership, and the tenants use either steps as separate entrances, I sprung for the "ScotchGuard" protector treatment which was extra. Given that I use COIT all the time for my rental apartments, and never pay more than $150-$275 for either a 2Bdrm apartment's or the top floors of the single family homes when I have tenant turnovers. (3Bdrms, Hallways with landings/steps and usually empty apts/homes). Turns out that the Angie's list "Deal of the Week" for floor cleaning from COIT said 50% off quoted services, where I thought it meant I would be given a starting price that's reasonable and competitive, and THEN get 50% off the total cost for the service. When I questioned the high price given my historical patronage, the sales person walked me through the discount process, and I found out they take 50% from an inflated base cost first, (one I wouldn't pay full price for anyways), and THEN give 50%. All other charges/options are charged at full price. The experience may be unique to this salesperson and even this Franchise, (I normally used the COIT by the Airport, and I'm not sure if they are owned by the same company/proprietor). I will still use them, as they are good, consistent, and a value to my business. Plus, I didn't have to be there because I trust them. However, moving forward I might be more inclined to look at other cleaners in the area for competitor rates moving forward, and ask for price matching as an alternative to their "discount" calculation. It seems there has been a change in the ownership or the sales policy.

They do good work. Usually I find them very good. They deliver back a quality product when they tell you that they will.

We have used Coit in the past and have been generally pleased with the work performed. This experience was not up to the standard that makes us want to call them again. The technician was more interested in upselling extra services than actually doing the cleaning. He had us come in so he could demonstrate how dirty our carpets were (like we didn't know, that's why we called). When the area that he demonstrated dryed a couple of days later it looked really clean but stood out because he didn't give the same attention to the rest of the room. The experience may be unique to this technician but it will make us think twice about calling Coit again or recommending them to others.

They were the only ones in the area that clean up smoke damaged items. They did a cleaning job on a set of curtains. We had a wood smoke problem when our fire placed smoked, and they cleaned up that very nicely. We have a long window in one our rooms with a twenty feet long curtain that was deteriorating and they did a nice job on that. It was not at all expensive, considering the size of the window. They just recently installed the new curtains that they made for the window. They require more rings to hang it on than they had and they are trying to match the rings that we have. They brought in one sample. It didn’t go well together so they hung temporary rings and took one of ours with them as an example. As soon as they find an appropriate replacement, they would come back and complete it as promised sometime in January. They charged us a couple of thousand dollars for it. At the time when we had curtains cleaned and replacement of these curtains ordered, it was around $1500. It is a set of long curtain. They did the installation for us and repaired a key problem in one of our dining rooms. The technician did that without any additional charge. I am very, very pleased with everything. I would use them in the future, if we have the need to do so. They bid the carpet cleaning for us at a very good price but we are going to have to move furniture and bunch of things out of the way so that the cleaning becomes possible. That is going to take us a bit of time so we would call them when we are ready. We have at least 2000 sq. feet of carpets to be cleaned. They quoted us $228, which I thought was good price.

After my initial call Coit sent someone out to take a look at the number of ducts and explain the service. They were available to do this the day after I called, but I had to schedule a few days later. He returned in about a week to complete the cleaning. He was at the house maybe 2 hours. Before calling them I had a new furnace installed and the dust it was blowing out of my vents was coating everything daily. Afterwards this did not occur. He left me some sanitizing spray to use periodically for free. Good experience and I got just what I wanted. I did not qualify for the advertised discount which was for 10 vents or more.

I am pretty satisfied. I have used them before in the past and they are one of the more consistent companies I have used. They are always punctual and will come out and give you an estimate and schedule appointments. They have it down and can be flexible with you on time.

They did a very good job and they were very thorough. They are a good company and I have used them before. They even offer specialty services and not everyone does.

They are very good. I just like the way they clean and they are very efficient. They come when they are suppose to and the carpet looks beautiful after they're done.

They took my valances down and cleaned them and they came back and put them back. But they look awful. They send four different guys here trying to fix them but it is still not right. Nobody seems to know how to hang drapes there. I did not like their work or their service. None of their guys knew what they were doing. As for the responsiveness they did not answer phone calls. As for punctuality they were pretty good except for one guy with whom we had an appointment and we waited for him all day and he did not come. He never came. He never called. I will not use them in the future.
