Description of Work: 2 visits. First, Ken came with a small team on a Friday. They inspected my chimney and vacuumed the fireplace flu. Ken ensured that my gas log that I hadn't used since I had moved in was safe and told me the best practices in using it. | |During the inspection, they recommended replacing the liner for the water heater exhaust. We agreed on a price and scheduled it for the following Monday before they left. They returned when scheduled and did the work we agreed to. | |They were prompt, quick, respectful, and patient. It couldn't have gone more smoothly. You'd be in good hands hiring Chimney Cricket. Thanks!

Description of Work: He made sure the flue worked properly and that the chimney was in decent shape. He tried pretty hard to talk us into a closed fireplace system because it would be "safer." It would have cost more than $2,000 to get this whereas having the chimney checked and being told to get a carbon monoxide monitor cost $67 plus whatever the carbon monoxide monitor cost. Less high pressure sales is always better!
