Description of Work: They did a great job cleaning our chimney. They were tidy and prompt.

Description of Work: Cleaned my chimney, replaced the rusted out damper and fixed the leak at the top that was pushing the bricks out. They even repaired the damaged bricks because the kind we have are not easy to find anymore. Ready for the first cold day to build our first fire here!

Description of Work: Inspected chimney, found flue was cracked in half, had a new one on the truck so they could immediately replace it. They also swept chimney and noticed some slight cracking around the top of the chimney on the roof and caulked for us without charging us. They were very nice, efficient, and we felt they were well prepared for "unforeseen" issues that arise when they inspect chimneys. Compared to others in the area, the price for the chimney sweep was very reasonable, as for the new flue it was about $550.00, which we weren't expecting, nor did we even research prices on. However we figured by the time we paid someone else to come out and get the part it probably wouldn't be that far off in pricing and it DID come with a lifetime warranty.

Description of Work: I called for an estimate and was able to have them come the same day. We needed our chimney swept, damper repair and the exterior chimney repointed. We were scheduled for the Tuesday after Memorial Day but rain was forecasted for that day so they contacted me and asked to come a day early! Who does that??? Most contractors we've dealt with in the past have rescheduled us for days or even weeks later, never a day early.

Description of Work: This older man lives three blocks from my house. He came quickly.. He told me to let my chimneys fall down first.! Never gave me a bid or anything. Very unprofessional. This company is a waste of time.

Description of Work: Called and was quickly set an appointment for a couple days later. They were a little early but in and out promptly. I was confident that his work was done appropriately and thoroughly. He cleaned, inspected, and installed new cap. I thought the cap was a bit pricy from what researched. Also, he quoted me a different price on the phone for the cleaning but I then realized it was a big job since it had not been done in some time (54 year old house) & he made some small repairs while on the roof. I would definitely reschedule them to clean my chimney again.

Description of Work: I forgot to ask about the price, but did not expect to have to pay 169.00 for each chimney. The insection consisted of a fie minute look up from the bottom. They did not look at the cap, the liner or any of the top of the chimney. The area was draped, the sweeper was moved into the room and the vacuum collected the dust that was brushed from the chimney. The sweeping took no more than twenty minutes. Is this what other services provide?

Description of Work: The workers from Chimney Cricket arrived within our agreed upon time frame after calling to say they would be just a little beyond the time they were to arrive and performed all of the services we agreed on for thier quoted price. They repointed the top 3 courses of bricks, capped the bricks with a thick coating of mortar, swept the chimney and installed meshing and a cap on all of the outlets. Their work was top notch and they were very professional. They were very careful not to harm our foilage and an A/C unit that sat directly below their work area. Their charges were $500 to $1000 less than 3 other quotes we had for the same work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: The owner did not show up for an the appointment on a Saturday morning at my house to look at gas logs options. He called after the scheduled appoint time to give estimates over the phone. I informed owner that I was no longer interested in his services.
