Overall the work was fast and good. I feel the price was good. Was not happy with the fact it was almost 8 weeks before they started and they were not proactive to call and tell me it would take that long before they could do the job.

When we bought the house, one of the windows in a bathroom had a failed seal and fogged up inside. Notes from the previous owners said they were Champion windows, so I called to ask about a warranty repair. I also said while stopping by we had three other windows we would like to gets quotes on to replace. The salesman came by one evening, gave us the quote and grabbed the sticker off the sash. We placed the order for the new windows and they replaced the sash free of charge. After installation of the windows, they even came back to repair a child lock on one of the other older windows again free of charge. Their salesman was very professional and the service has been great, even though our older windows were technically out of warranty.

I would recommend them. They were very professional and did a real good job. They were timely and did and when I called about something the supervisor was out the next day itself. They were on the higher side, but they did good work. I got what I paid for. They were here every day on time.

They came out when they said they would had a little mixup with what window not to wrap. But this was resolved.I had asked if they would mark and put the awning hardware back up on the 2nd floor window and the sales person said they would.Came home after job was done and the hardware was not on the window. Called and they said they would look into it.Got a call back in about 1 week saying they would get new hardware and install. While waiting for them to contact me.My duplex neighbor also had his windows wrapped by a different company and they also removed the hardware. So when Champion came back (1 month later) they did not have an example of how to put the hardware back up. They gave me the hardware but the awning company I hired to put the awnings and hardware on said they were the wrong kind and I had to pay them for hardware, installation of hardware and hanging of the awnings. Also my neighbor had the same amount of windows done and was charged 30% less for wrapping his windows. My mistake for not getting a 2nd estimate.

Very pleased with the results. Salesman accurately described the product and was easy to work with. Installer was quick with the install and kept the work are clean. The only negative is that he was a little sloppy with the caulking job around the door. I had to fix it up to make it look nicer. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with Champion.

They did a very good job. We would use them again.

No matter what options we chose for the railing he said it would be $2000. He didn't bring any samples with him. He had a book to look at, but not the actual product. There was a lot of pressure to buy while he was here.

When I had the windows done, I got cracks on all of my walls from the installation. The guys who did the installation were young and inexperienced. They spackled over the cracks, but it was my responsiblity to cover the spackle. My window air conditioners do not fit because they were smaller than my old windows.

Received an estimate and signed a contract with Champion Windows. Decided to go with another contractor and tried to cancel the contract within the 3 day period. Champion deliberately mislead me regarding cancellation by using the term "put it on hold" until it was too late to cancel. I ended up getting my deposit back and canceling the contract, but not without much hassle and getting the BBB involved.

Tthe biggest problem I encountered with this company was poor communication. When the siders were getting ready to wrap up the project (i.e.: taking down scaffolding, etc) I tried to stop them because there were 3 dormers on the upper level which they had not sided (due to a miscommunication from the salesman to the siders). Unfortunately, none of the them spoke enough English (but they were professional and polite, and did good work) to understand what I was trying to tell them; I had to make multiple calls and wait days to hear back from the person in charge of the project (and he was not particularly apologetic, polite, or professional). By that time, they had hauled away all the materials from the site and had to bring everything back and set up the scaffolding all over again. They did end up siding the dormers in the end, but the whole thing felt like such a hassle. I think the price was fair and the work quality overall was good. It took longer than I expected- early October was when I first spoke to the salesman and set up the contract, it was late November when they started, finished the first week of December. When I went to open my windows the following spring, I realized that at least 5 of my screens had slices in them from the siding project. It seemed like more hassle than it was worth to contact them about the screens, so I didn't. Also, they never put the special trim around my 2 outdoor lamps or electrical outlet. I have saved lots of money in energy costs for heating and cooling my home following this siding installation, it included insulation beneath the vinyl siding. Unfortunately, it was not eligible for an energy saving tax deduction but I think it was a good investment overall.

This was our 2ND purchase from Champion, and I was a repeat customer so I was expecting a large discount, (as mentioned during the first sales pitch). The price was a little more than i wanted to spend, however it was important to me that this door match the Champion Sliders on the back of the house. We agreed on a door, and a Storm door, only after we made the deal, we learned the storm door was not the same shade as the main door, and the colors could not match because the doors were not made the same way... The scheduling coordinator called me to set up an install date, he mentioned he had an installer who needed extra work, and was interested in working on Sunday. Sunday came, the crew showed up, the installer took his tools around back, placed wet snowy tool boxes on our white carpet, and then informed me he had bad news... his lock on his trailer was frozen and he could not do the job today... I handed him a plumbing torch so he could heat up the lock, he tried it, and the key still did not work. Then I offered him a grinder so he could grind the pad lock off, he declined, gathered his tools and left. A couple days later another installer showed up, did a good job, however he admitted this was his first project for champion...

The experience was normal for Champion, I have learned how to play the game, the sales person came out, measured, showed us pictures, and worked out a price around $8,500, we went back and fourth for half an hour and the price dropped after I explained I would need to get more estimates. On the day of the installation, I took the day off work. 8:00AM I received a call, that the installer could not find his helper, and would not be able to make it. I was so shocked, I could not believe it. Later that day, the coordinator called me to see when we could reschedule, I mentioned it would have to be a weekend, Saturday or Sunday, I was told they do not do Sundays and their Saturdays are all booked up. At this point I suggested they figure out how to work it out for a Sunday... Long story short, the door was installed on a Sunday Way more painful than it should have been.

The rep gave us an OK sales presentation on the quality of the windows and what the installation process would be, although he was more concerned about describing the process and the company rather than the product. He declined to give us a written estimate, but rather just said - it'll be about 13,000". We wanted to see the product so we went to the showroom and got the same treatment from the sales manager. Her seemed put out that we wanted it in writing, so he wrote few figures on a piece of notebook paper. we went elsewhere for our project.

Champion Windows was clean, courteous, and timely. They have competitive prices and great quality, it was a pretty good deal.

Extremely well from the initial sales contact, planning of the sun room, construction, open to changes along the way, and reasonably priced. Follow up visits for patio door lock replacement on time and efficiently completed.

It's attractive and I have not had any problems work that was done. The contractor was knowledgeable and helpful. Visitors to my home have commented about how nice it looks inside and outside. I would use this company again.

They were very thorough and knowledgeable.

Overall, the entire experience was a little more stressful than it needed to be. I had Champion come out and quote 2 "custom" sliding glass doors. The Champion Prices were about a quarter of the price of other estimates I received, I was familiar with the quality, so naturally I agreed to have the work done. When I asked how the could provide the same service at a much better price, I was told it was because of the volume the did. Once the deal was signed, another gentleman came out to the house to measure, during this meeting he explained the doors came in 5' and 6' sizes, and that they would have to use filler panels to make them fit. I was very upset, contacted the sales person who was quite surprised too... He promised the door would be custom built for the opening, at that point I requested conformation in writing. Once the conformation came in, it stated nothing about the door being custom built, I considered it, 'custom configured", because I could specify how they opened, color, and type of hardware. I considered backing out of the deal, but I was afraid it would be a great struggle to get my deposit back, and was not to interested in a battle, so I decided to have the doors put in. I was promised by the regional manager that they would look "Great", I took his word on it... I must say, during the whole process, everyone at Champion was VERY easy to talk too, and worked with me to get the issue resolved. Installation day: The installers arrived right on time, very professional, very polite, and did a GREAT job! The one installer said they were given molding to fit over the filler panels, he admitted they would not look too good in a contemporary house, so he used matching aluminum to cover the filler pieces, and they looked amazing! He was a TRUE Craftsman, and took allot of pride in his work! Overall Im Thrilled with the doors, just annoyed with the fine print. During the sales presentation, I was told they loved word of mouth business, and that if I referred a friend to them for a quote, they would send me $100, now that it is complete, it looks like the $100 only applies if a friend purchases. Just fine print details, I will however use them for more projects.

They were on time and very nice. They answered a lot of questions. We have not had the work done by anyone yet.

He was honest and a nice person. The estimate was double that of everyone else?s. As a result I didn?t use them.

Due to storm damage, our aluminum awning (w - pan) over hanging our back patio was damaged, as were the gutters at the rear of our house. We contracted with Champion to replace both the rear gutters and the awning. The installation crew arrived on the date specified and were courteous and professional. A few days later, at the first heavy rain, we noticed severe leakage at the back of the awning adjoining our house. A simple observation revealed that the downspouts that fed on to the awning from the rear gutters were not extended sufficiently onto the awning, so they were pouring down the back wall and onto the base of the foundation. I called Champion and it took two calls and approximately two weeks to send someone out to examine the problem. I had to take the morning off work to meet their representative. The person they sent out, Mr. S., was courteous and confirmed that the downspouts needed to be extended and that though he did not have downspouts on his truck, he would get some shortly and have them installed. As I already knew, he confirmed that this was a simple fix. I returned home from work that day expecting to see extended downspouts, but the work had not been completed. A little over a week and a few heavy rains later, I called Champion, to determine why the problem had not been resolved. They told me that Mr. M, was out sick and so certain jobs were being delayed. This is where I have a serious problem with Champion. Had I hired Mr. M., to perform the work, I could completely understand a delay due to illness. However, I hired Champion, and expected them to see that (1) the initial installation had been made properly and (2) that they would have an employee perform the needed repairs in a timely fasion. It took yet another call to Champion and another week before the repairs were finally completed.

It seems that they have pretty good windows, but their sales process is awful. I invited them over to give me a quote. The guy gave it to me and then held me and my wife hostage. Gave us a $13,000 quote, then dropped it to $10,000. I said I need few days. He said he would drop it to $9,000 if I bought them that night. I still said no. He wouldn't leave my house intil he had a deal. I pretty much had to kick him out. I ended up going with a local guy, paid less, and had a much better experience.

Although I had good experience with Champion in terms of getting a quote to replace our patio cover damaged in the Feb. storms, I did not use them. I went with the company which had originally put up the patio cover (Patio Enclosure) because they gave me a discount. It took quite a while for Patio Enclosure to finally come and replace the damaged cover (they are here today 6/3/10). Will report on how things went when they are finished.

Started on time and finished on time. House not perfectly plumb or level so they had to retrofit a few things - made it work and looks good. Survived the recent winter without any issues / problems.

Their estimate was a little high. They tried to upscale what I had chosen to do. I felt I was being pushed. So, I didn?t use them. I don?t think I will use them again.
