Tony is a pro and gives you the straight scoop and as a result, I trust him 100%. The A/C compressor was binding up intermittently but was working when his tech came out to diagnose the problem. I was told it could last a day or a few years but there was no pressure from the tech or Tony to do anything immediately. Tony said he'd be happy to give me an estimate on a new A/C system if I wanted him to. Knowing my furnace was an older one I also had him price a new furnace as well as provide an estimate for moving the furnace into the corner of the basement which required additional ductwork modifications. I had him install high efficiency units and move the furnace into the corner. The job was clean, professional and completed in just over a day. I'm very pleased with my investment and will use Tony again if needed. Knowing there are guys like Tony out there renews my faith in people.

I used this Company on my first rental property for an entire HVAC installation and water heater installation. I was very happy with their service, so I just had them do similar work on my second rental property without taking any other bids. I met with Tony again, and he is a very honest guy about what you do and don't need. I never feel like he is selling me something I don't need. Tony installed in one day a new central A/C system and electric water heater. He also did some duct work that removed a portion of the duct system that was obviously rigged by an amateur before. So, Tony and his crew fixed this which ultimately let's the heat and cool air flow much better through the house. I would highly recommend Caruso Heating and Air Conditioning if you are looking for some pretty major HVAC work at a reasonable cost.

I just moved into my house in December and the air conditioner was unable to be tested when I moved in because of the snow. The unit is 23 years old, and I knew they aren't expected to work that long, so I wanted to have a professional around when we did finally test the unit. The worker from Caruso arrived on time and was very polite and knowledgeable. My father mainly was in contact with the worker during the visit. The worker from Caruso answered all of my father's questions about my A/C unit and maintenance on the unit. My father was extremely please with Caruso and I was pleased that my 23 yr old A/C unit is was still kicking. I will however hold onto the card from Caruso, should it need to be replaced soon - they were wonderful to work with and gave a thorough inspection. I had bought the deal on Angie's List for the $69 for a Furnace or A/C Inspection, Cleaning & Tune-up! I definitely feel I got more than my money's worth from this company and would definitely recommend them.

So the old AC was shot - tired of putting pounds of Freon it it to get thru the season. Time for a new unit. After doing research I found that in order to get the higher efficiencies, you need to replace the Furnace and AC as the 'brains' that gets you the savings are in the Furnace and Thermostat. Settled on 3 main brands (Carrier, Bryant, Trane) and added another (Rheem) as a lower end option. I used Angie's list to get the Carrier and Bryant Dealers. I knew both a Rheem and Trane dealer from prior experience. I will give the other suppliers their own review but for the purposes of this I will tell you that Caruso came out on top. Others that I called and provided quotes were Metro, Wade, Staab, S Hills Plumbing, Woodruff and Smith. I called one other Bryant Dealer (twice) but never got a call back so they missed the cut right away. So for Caruso here goes - Called and got an immediate appointment for the next day Tony came promptly and reviewed my situation Quote was provided the next day Had the above mentioned companies provide quotes. Eliminate all but 2 based of major price variance (1K+ higher). Worked with Tony to get to an acceptable package price which included a new 17 SEER AC unit 96.5% Furnace, Humidifier and Air Cleaner, extended labor agreement. Scheduled Install date - he estimated 2 days for the job - at a date time less than 2 weeks out that worked for both of us. Install day - All I can say is 'wow' - at 9:05am the first of 4 vans rolled up and they promptly got to work. Tony gave them direction and reviewed the plan for the install. By 4pm I had a new working AC and Furnace. All that was left to do was a bit of cleanup, humidifier connections and final inspection. Tony and one of his guys came back the next day for the last bit of work and by noon I was done. And does this unit make a difference....

I called complaining that my AC was no longer cold. Caruso sent someone out the same day and their tech diagnosed my problem as missing two pounds of coolant and clogged filters. After fixing both the AC was back, working like a charm.

I called Caruso for an estimate. Tony had arrived promptly at the time we scheduled. He did not use any high pressure sales tactics. He explained all of the options thoroughly, and was very respectful and polite. He was able to give me pricing at that time. A lot of the other contractors were not able to do that. He also took measurement for the duct work transitions at that time, so if he got the job he would already have the measurements for the fab work. When I called Tony to let him know we wanted to use him, he promptly scheduled the job for the following Tuesday and said he would complete the job in one day. Tony and his crew of 4 young gentleman arrived on time to do the job. They did a great job far exceeding my expectations. They were very careful to cover furniture with drop cloths and worked together like a well oiled machine. By 5:00 PM they had the entire job finished in a very professional manner. They cleaned up everything spotless. You would never have known they were there. I had 5 other estimates for this job and none of the other HVAC contractors could compare with the price, and none of the others could do the job in one day. I would highly recommend Caruso. You will not be disappointed.

Dealing with Caruso's was a pleasant experience. I dealt directly with Tony Caruso and he did an excellent job. They installed a brand new HVAC system and also included a new water heater for a very reasonable price. They finished everything in two days in a very profressional manner. I would highly recommend using Caruso's for an HVAC install.

Tony was very responsive in bidding the job and scheduling. He does not supply a brand variety so Carrier has to be your choice. His team were respectful and courteous throughout the day of installation. I was disappointed not to see the boss on the job during installation day but he took care of registering the warranty promptly. I was also disappointed to find that the filters could not be purchased at a local hardware store, but one doesn't always know the right questions to ask.

We were given a detailed explanation of various equipment in 3 levels of quality (good-better-best). We were told about the manufacturer's rebate as well as rebates from the gas and electric companies. Proposals were emailed to us and additional questions were answered. The work was performed as promised, on the dates specified (one and a half days). Our furnace was replaced and operating by late afternoon on the first day. The air conditioner, air cleaner, humidifier and thermostat were completed on the morning of the second day. Everything was left clean and neat both days. We had gotten another bid but nothing was explained to us about the differences in the types of equipment. A bid was given to us with a furnace from the mid-level and the air conditioner from the lower level with no reason for choosing that equipment. No brochures detailing the equipment were given to us. None of the rebates were mentioned to us. We were very pleased with choosing Caruso and extremely satisfied with the work performed. The workers were very professional, neat and efficient. We highly recommend this company to anyone interested in quality work.

They arrived on time with four people and installed a new furnace and air conditioner in just seven hours. They were clean, polite, and honest. Knocked money off the bill because the installation required less work than expected. They spent time with me to explain how to operate the system and helped me fill out paperwork for rebates from my utility companies. Extremely happy; would definitely recommend them to others.

I had no A/C and they diagnosed the problem as a clogged furnace filter as well as the condenser being dirty. They fixed it that day for a reasonable fee. I also had them service my furnace in 2006 and they were professional and reasonable.

He was wonderful. The price was right, and they were on time and finished within one day. It has been working wonderfully. I would recommend him to anyone. They are very neat, and clean up after themselves.

Performed a service call on my air conditioning unit. Start to finish: 30 minutes. Showed up on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it, AND offered advice on the kind of air filters to buy to make my furnace and A/C work easier. I could not be more pleased. I called for service on a Saturday afternoon. The call was returned Monday AM, and service scheduled for Monday.

This could not have gone any better! From my initial contact with Caruso Heating and Air Conditioning they were very professional and responsive. Every e-mail and phone call was returned in a very timely fashion. When the work was scheduled, the crew arrived on time and began the job. When the job was complete, everything was checked to assure it was working properly and they explained everything in detail. Also before leaving, everything was cleaned up to the point that you would never know they were here.

Our air conditioner broke down over Memorial Day weekend. Fortunately, we did not have really hot weather for the next few weeks. In the interim I contacted Tony Caruso along with two other local HVAC contractors. Tony offered us four different bids depending on what type of furnace we wished to have him install. The final price was not the lowest but it was Carrier equipment. The low bidder was offering equipment "comparable" to a major manufacturer. My wife and I were willing to pay more for a name we know and trust. After I told Tony he had the job, we were hit with four days of 90 degree plus heat. Fortunately, Tony squeezed us in for Friday.His crew showed up right on time and worked throughout the day, taking time off only for lunch. After everything was installed and checked out, they cleaned the work area leaving it looking better than when they arrived. Caruso was simply excellent to work with and I heartily recomend them if anyone needs any HVAC work done.

They are very professional compared to others because we had more people come in to give us quotes, but when we talked to them, they were not professional. They go straight to the point. They understand everything very well. Their price is reasonable.

Tony and his crew were very professional. Tony was here during the installation to oversee the work and the work went very well. I would highly recommend this company. He was very patient with all of my questions and concerns and took the time to explain things in detail. We obtained three quotes prior to choosing Caruso Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc.. Tony's quote was quite a bit less than either of the other two companies, even when compared to the other quote for the same Carrier equipment.

Overall, they did a good job, and my experience with them was fine. They were polite, organized, clean and efficient. They were in and out. The price was good. I had no problems with the work. I actually had a question, so they came out, tightened something and left; it took about 15 minutes. I would rate them highly and would definitely use them again in the future.

They quoted a price that was 30% below the average of the other 3 quotes that I received for the same size and quality. They did the job on time and in a neat professional manner. All of the labor and material was very good quality. I was pleased that I got 4 quotes because of the very large price spead. I saved between $700-$2000 compared to the other 3 comparable bids. It demonstrates that there is very wide price spread among the HVAC providers. It pays to shop.

They are very good and reasonably priced. They are prompt and always on time. The guy is great.

He was very courteous and good. He was very informative. He answered all of our questions quite well. The charge was quite reasonable. I highly recommend him. He took his time. This was the first time we have had difficulty with our boiler, and he fixed it immediately. He said that the boiler was working properly and there was no need to install a new one. A lot of these guys come out and try to sell you something, but he stayed away from that. He did his job. If I ever did buy a new one, he would be the guy I would call to put it in. He was right on time.
