Began to have problems last year with bees and large black and small red ants. Called Budget Pest Control last fall based on Angie's List reviews. Have used them four times since then and found them to be superb. They are always prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and thorough. Have arrived within hours of calling, fully equipped to provide effective service at reasonable rates. This is important to me as I am highly allergic to bee and wasp stings.

We were very impressed with them after having them out for the deal we purchased and did sign up for a pest control package. Their work was amazing when it came to stink bugs. Pittsburgh has a stink bug problem and we don't.

The service itself was great. He was able to take care of the problem. They were a little bit excessive with the follow up, but I would recommend them.

On Monday I called Budget Pest Control to see about killing yellow jackets that had a nest inside the brick window ledge outside my home. They asked a bunch of questions and were able to give me a price quote immediately. We decided on a Wednesday appointment between 1 & 3 with a call before they were coming. Around 2:00 I got a call from Nick Bartnick saying he was on his way. Nick was well informed and answered all my questions. When I told him I had a problem with finding the yellow jackets in my kitchen, which is under the window with the problem, he took a look and said he thought they were coming in through a crack in my plaster just above the window. When Nick was done spraying the outside, he came inside and sprayed there also. He then gave me instructions about letting it dry before I repaired the crack and also told me about their warrenty. I would also like to say, that when I first called, they asked me what floor the window with the nest was on. Part of my upstairs windows are 2 stories up and part are 3 stories. Without thinking, I said second. It was really the third story. I called them back as soon as I realized my error. Even though the price goes up with each floor, they honored their original quote. I also had printed a coupon off that they have on Angie's List. I would use them again and will be telling family and friends about them.

Budget came to our house monthly to spray for insects. They sprayed inside and outside the house as well as around the big oak trees in our yard. It seems to have done the job, our main concern was carpenter ants, and we didn't see any more of them or any other bugs. Nice company to deal with.

We had done business with Budget previously for other pest control services, and they were just as good for this job. They went all around the house inspecting for rodents, and set traps. No more mice, happy ending.

Setting up the appointment was quick and easy. They showed up on time and were very thorough in the application of the treatment both indoors and out. This was the first visit of 6 purchased as a "Big Deal" and we look forward to working with them through the remainder of the contract. Would definitely recommend them to others.

All went well after a follow-up visit after there was still mice activity after the initial visit. They were very professional and the second trip did the trick. Since it was within 30 days of initial visit, there was no charge for the second visit.

Contacted company for a flying ant problem. All cost were disclosed prior to making an appointment. Appointment time was made to my convenience and tech showed up on time, and sprayed inside and outside of house. Notice bugs were gone within a week or so. I was very pleased with that however after about six wks we begin noticing spiders and millipedes. Since the pests returned within two months company policy is that they would return at no cost. I called them and again they set a return time for my convenience without any hassles. Same tech returned, he seemed annoyed but was polite and professional. Again I noticed the pest were gone with in a short time. However, it did not last very long. The personal were great, the price good but the "product" just not lasting.

We purchased the Big Deal for a year of pest service and Budget has been great. They called right after purchase to make sure that we set up our appointment and we had someone come out on a Saturday. The guy was really nice and explained everything that he was doing and any additional problems that he saw both around the house and around our fence. Someone comes out once a month for maintenance service. We've had no problems with pests (both insects and the pesky mole that's been harassing us for a while) since the service started.

They provided us with excellent information that allowed us to take care of the moth issue on our own. Exterminator showed up as scheduled on a Sunday for wasp issue, but after looking around he suggested we either get rid of or paint our outdoor wood furniture. He charged us nothing, and believe it or not we painted the furniture and there was no more moth issue! So no work done, but a lot of advice given for no fee. I felt they were incredibly ethical and now that I have huge ants in my house, I will be calling Budget for help from here on out... and I have referred them to two friends. They could have charged me and sprayed for the wasps in the short term. By being honest and helpful, they now have a long term customer who will vouch for them in public.

Budget is excellent. They were flexible when scheduling. They came out when they said they would and very professional and explained in detail what they would do. Their pricing was a little higher than a competitor, but I must tell you that it is worth it. I would definitely use them again and I have recommended them to friends already. I'm very pleased.

Terrific job. It was a pleasure doing business with Budget Pest Control. That may seem odd in reference to a pest control company, but it is true. Everything from the initial call to the office, the quote and the service were extremely professional. Highly recommended.

When scheduling the appointment, the customer service representative (Melanie?) was extremely nice and helpful. I called on a Saturday evening and the phone was promptly answered and we were able to schedule an appointment at my earliest convenience which was that Tuesday. Melanie was very knowledgable about the services the technician would provide. I was given a 2 hour appointment time window and told the tech would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. As promised, I received that call and the tech promptly arrived within that time frame. Carlos was extremely professional and I showed him the problem area. He did a thorough inspection, and while he did not locate a yellow-jacket nest (he felt our willow tree was in fact attracting the yellow jackets, most likely from multiple nests in our neighborhood) He treated the tree and the ground with an insecticide. He also inspected other areas of our backyard and located a wasp's nest in the slide of our playset, which he treated. After he was finished, he explained everything he accomplished and made sure I had no questions or concerns. I am very impressed with the warranty on the services and the professionalism of the staff with whom I have interacted. I will most definitely use this company again in the future.

They were very professional and on time. After three days our ant problem was completely gone. I even signed up for their continual protection program.

I called the 800 phone number around 7 pm one evening and the customer service representative set-up a time for a technician to arrive at my home the next day. Carlos arrived at the scheduled date and time. I gave him a quick brief on the issues I was having. He placed mouse/rat bait around the exterior of the house and in strategic places (including the attic) inside my home. He also treated the perimeter of my property with something that was supposed to repel other critters like squirrels, moles, chipmunks etc. I was told to give it two-weeks to start seeing results. It has been almost 4 weeks and so far I'd say I wasted my money. I noticed that the chipmunks we eating the bait he placed outside like crazy but it wasn't killing them. I set 3 rat traps in the last 2 days and have killed more rodents (chipmunks and mice) than this treatment did. Not sure I would recommend Budget Pest Control for rodents... I cannot say whether or not I would recommend them for insect control because I did not use them for that service. I might give them another shot to try again with the rodents but only under their service call arrangement.

It was very good. They do a nice job. I thought their pricing was fine.

It went well. They did come by and do the treatment as requested and as advertised.

I noticed a HUGE wasp nest in a tree in my backyard on Saturday and called Budget Pest Control. They came within hours of my call. The technician immediately suited up and removed the nest. I had also noticed some web worms on another tree and he removed that also. He took everything away and I didn't have to deal with any of it.

When I called the company they were very nice on the phone. Very prompt service. We were able to get an appointment very quick. When the first technician came out. It was not a great experience. He asked us for duct tape and a paint brush. He was here for 10minutes. Whatever he did under our window did not work. It looks like it stained our brick and the bees were still getting in. I called them back and they had somebody else come out 2 days later. This technician was great. Very nice and professional. He explained everything to me. Did not ask us for items either. The bees are gone now because of him. His name was Carlos. He was great. I would use this company again. I would ask for him to come though.

This time it went much better than the treatment 2-3 weeks prior. The service agent was far more responsive to addressing specific homeowner concerns. He took the time that was necessary to do a thorough application of insecticide in and around our house. The re-treatment was done at no extra costs.

This was the initial visit for a purchased Angie's List Deal for 1 year of service. He arrived as scheduled, explained procedure and product and went to work. The technician was thorough, professional, neat and friendly. I have contacted this company again for removal of wasp nests.

They did exactly what they said they would. Sprayed all the windows, set off some sort of fly bomb in the house that required we and pets except fish be gone 3 hours. We have had very few flies since.
