+ -1 moreA landlord hired this company to help my elderly mother who unknowingly brought bedbugs home with her from the hospital. There were HUNDREDS and they were horrific! I knew that exterminators charge very high fees for bedbugs. The landlord found Budget Pest Control on Angie's list and agreed to pay for treatment since the price was reasonable and the reviews were good. We are almost two months out and no sign of the bedbugs! The company did a great job and were very personable and helpful in helping ot identify the hot-spots we should watch for. Don't waste your money on the high price companies. This worked on a very bad infestation and kept the bugs from migrating to an upstairs apartment. No hesitation to recommend them.

+ -1 moreWe get treatment every 2 months. We got an automated call few days before the service. Then 1 day before or same day we got another call. The person showed up in the 2 hour time window after calling with a 20 minutes notice . He was professional and thorough. He answered my questions when I pointed out a few trouble areas we had for stink bugs and rodents etc. He was very knowledgable and didnt make me feel hurried. He gave special attention to those trouble areas and made some helpful recommendations. Their treatment also has been effective so I am happy to continue it year round. Just one thing I would point out. It must be a big company and we get a different person most of the time. It would help us if they can put down some notes for the specific house and use it every time anyone comes around. I do have to spend some time explaining things unique to our house and history of pests etc. On the positive note, I get helpful information when I have that discussion.

He was on time and very professional. He took care of the job and went above and beyond what he needed to do to make sure I was satisfied.

Description of Work: I used Budget, and I have used them twice since. They were here just a month ago. I had ivy growing on my home, and they said that there were bugs that would come in through the ivy. I called them, and they took care of it.

This time they performed a very thorough job, even found a wasp nest in the roof; they covered all exterior wood surfaces, including high points in the roof. They explained everything they did during a walk around the house. They even sprayed the underside of the deck; I called their office to express my satisfaction and told them I would rewrite my review.
Description of Work: In response to an earlier negative review they redid the spraying; I am totally satisfied this time and will consider using them on a regular basis.

+ -1 moreI called Budget Pest around noon & talked with Michael. He was very helpful. A technician, Bob, was sent out in just a couple of hours. He sprayed the nest which was in a very hard to reach area. The bees were coming in a crack underneath a second story window. When he was finished with that, he sprayed the entire outside of the house for insects. Bob told me to give it a couple of days & if they were not gone to call & he would come back to respray. I did not see any bees since he treated the area. I would definitely use Budget Pest Control again & recommend them to friends. Everything was very professional .

This company is always good about calling ahead of their schedule to advised when they will be arriving and always arrive on time. They're very polite and professional. If there is a problem with weather or other circumstances, they are always good about calling ahead of time to reschedule if necessary. They are efficient and get the work done in a timely fashion. They spray whereever I need them to, wether it be outdoors or inside my house and will come back as much as needed to get rid of any insect issues. I would highly recommend them!! They are also very good with my animals and careful about spraying around them and their food. Very informative.

They came out the next day and sprayed the whole house inside and out and assured me it was safe for both my baby and cat. We haven't seen any ants (or other crawling bugs) since! We just saw a mouse last weekend, called Budget and they were out right away to tackle that as well!

+ -1 moreI noticed a sign of termites and called on Sunday, Mother's Day. Mike called back that day with helpful suggestions on what to do (DON'T SPRAY). He came out the next day and thankfully this was the beginning sign of the pest and didn't do any structural damage. He provide us with the estimate and the technician was out three days later and treated the house and shed. They were a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend them. I have a 10 year warranty and if the need ever came I would use them again. Thank you to the previous Angie list subscribers that recommend them, we greatly appreciate the great recommendation!!

Side note - they offer a 3rd trmt for reduced rate of $95 which we will take advantage of. No unexpected charges and they didn't try to sell us and BS extra products unlike ORKIN. I will use Budget again for semi-annual Termite trmt or for any other services that we need. I definitely recommend Budget. We called the local West office in Pittsburgh, PA.
Description of Work: Approx 3 mos ago husband noticed what he thought was bedbugs in our son's bedroom. We also had been the victims of red and itchy bite marks what we originally thought were mosquito or spider bites; however, dear husband saw a few moving around on our son's box spring and compared the picture to online pics of bedbugs and it was confirmed that's what was biting us. Over the period of one month, we tried many different commercial products (over the counter) which all claimed to kill bed bugs and their eggs and etc. To our dismay none of the products worked, we even replaced all bedding including mattresses and box springs in our 3 bedrooms including new mattress covers. After realizing the bugs were not removed, we called ORKIN which was a waste of time and money. They came out to confirm the presence which they did and said we would need a $1500 treatment plan and that we would have to buy special mattress/box spring coverings exclusively from them and they were unable to guarantee treatment. The initial price for their assessment was $95. Next step, got back on Angies List and found out about Budget PEst Control, called them on a Thursday, and they came out on Saturday. Over the phone they gave us a quote for $375 and set apt for that Saturday. Technician was friendly and well informed. Had a follow up trmt today, after 2 wks (yes it was included in the original quoted price of $375)

They came on a Saturday so I did not have to take off work and after talking to me about my concerns, sprayed all areas outside where bees and wasps, etc. were likely to build nests. I was very happy with the price and the work. I have a 2 month guarantee they will come back and re spray if there are any problems. Very good service. In the past at a different house I did have bees and wasps and it was very expensive to have another company come to take care of the problem. If anyone has concerns about potential problems, this is a great deal for peace of mind.

I am sorry I forget the young man's name, but, he was very courteous and the work was done in a half hour or so, and they were out of there. It has been a couple of weeks and the treatment has seemed to help the intrusion of bees and wasps into our activities on the front porch and back patio.

+ -1 moreThey're terrific. The man on the phone was extremely helpful and informative, as were the techs who came to the house. No hard sell for additional services as you're likely to get with the big chains. These guys do the work as promised and even come on weekends. We'll continue to use them.
Description of Work: We've used them for two difference services. Last year they came twice in response to swarming noises inside our walls. After spraying the inside of the house, we discovered a wasp nest which they expertly removed. We were so impressed that we had them back this year to spray the exterior to prevent stinging insects.

(Water has no effect though window cleaning fluids may so advised that I not clean treatment overspray off windows for a week.) + -1 moreIt went well. Cannot comment on the quality as it was just done. They provided a two month return policy if we have any more problems. It was a pretty simple procedure and the technician was informative. Very satisfied. The problem with the bees was pretty high up as our house us two story with an attic so we needed the help with the height . All communication to set up the appointment was easy and courteous and prompt. We have an ongoing problem with bats in our attic and I had hoped he might be able to help with that but they don't do that work.
