I found a few ants around the kitchen window where ants had done damage before. I did not want an annual contract for services I don't need. Amanda, the technician, did a good and thorough job.

The job went well. They sprayed the full exterior and interior of my home. Prior to the service being completed, we were seeing small groups of ants inside the house. My wife said it was an "infestation" but that was an exaggeration. Regardless, we saw enough that it warranted have a company come out and spray. I am quite pleased with the results. We have not seen a bug in the house since Budget Pest sprayed. Money well spent!

After a few days, no more ants--not one! In addition, we had in the past had problems with other bugs (inch long worm type things EVERYWHERE). We have not seen ANY bugs since Budget Pest came. We did add on bi-monthly service, but it's worth it to be completely bug-free. The exterminator who arrived was very professional and answered all our bug-related questions. I will mention that our ant problem really came to a head on Good Friday, and budget was still responsive and came within a few hours of our first call.

The man was prompt and got to work right away. He sprayed the outside of the house to keep bees from nesting on the house.

The scheduled time was 9:30 - 11:30 AM (they allow a two hour window); the person arrived at 12:40 AM, did not offer an apology for being 70 min late; my morning was wasted. He spent about 20 min on the property, spraying wood surfaces; I don't consider $149 a good value for 20 min work. He did not leave me any paper-work showing what work was done. I had asked him to take a careful look at the roof, since the previous year this was overlooked by them, and on a second visit they found a bee/wasp nest and other overlooked areas that were not sprayed. I did not hear him on the roof, but he said everything was fine - so I really don't know if they applied anything to the high hanging wood areas of the roof; I am going to look for evidence of improved control over the bee and wasp problem, if I see it improve I may upgrade the rating.

We bought the Angies List big deal for wasp prevention for our house. We have always had wasp problems in the past, and The service was completed within a week of contacting them, and we have not seen any wasps around our house since.

They came out three times, the first was around April 24, and I paid them $200 to get rid of moths with a 30 day guarantee. Two weeks later, the moths were still there, so they come out and did some work again. I had to pay someone to get rid of hundreds of thousands of dollars of food, because I just had back surgery and couldn't get down on my hands and knees to clean things and get rid of the contaminated food. After those two visits, there were still moths, so I called the owner to complain. He came out today, and seemed really mad he had to come out. While at my house, he told me I also had to get rid of a lot of my spices and taco mixes, and that's the first time I've been told that. He seemed very arogant, then just ended up walking out on me. He said it was my fault the moths were still there because I didn't get rid of the spices. As he was on his way out I asked him where does this leave us, and he told me once I get rid of the stuff, call them back. When I called Mike-the owner, last week to ask if he planned to spray today (June 8), he said he did. Yet, when he came this morning, he had no spray equipment with him.Also, he could have taken 10 minutes to help me empty two spice drawers and two file boxes with envelopes of seasoning mixes, teas, etc., which I had never been told to throw out. Instead, he insulted me and walked out. UPDATE: I initially paid Budget Pest Control Inc $212.93 to rid my apartment of "pantry moths," this included a 30 day guarantee. I followed their instructions to the letter and got rid of all the foods they recommended be removed. Each time the technician came, I asked them if they were pantry months and if there were anything I should do to expedite their extinction. He told me they were pantry moths and that there was nothing else I should get rid of. Because I continued to see/kill these pests -- some myself, some in traps, some in lures the tech brought on his first visit -- I scheduled two additional pest control visits. By the end of the guarantee I was encountering 4-15 of these pests per day. When I called to complain, I asked for an additional month's guarantee. I was not only refused, I was also asked to kill one, take a picture of it, and send it to them -- despite the fact that the technician had already confirmed that the pests were pantry moths. Since they refused to accept any responsibility for not eradicating the moths, I told them I wanted my money back which was also refused. I called Angie's List and was given the owner, Mike's, cell phone number. When we spoke, he agreed to come to my apartment and see for himself. He advised me to empty my cabinets of most of my remaining food, which I did and paid someone to do, as I had in the past -- I was unable to life anything due to recent back surgery. Mike came out on June 8, obviously not pleased. I had saved 2 moths to show him but he would not even look at him. While at my apartment he told me I also had to get rid of spices, taco and dressing mixes, anything packaged in envelopes, and even tea bags. As I stated before, I had asked the technician on each of his three visits if I should do anything else and was told "No." Mike's behavior was arrogant, he accused me of raising my voice (which I did not) and headed toward my door to leave. I was stunned that he was not only intent on blaming me but that he was also walking out without offering any solution. As he was walking out I asked him where that left us and he told me once I got rid of the items to call him back. A while after Mike left, I remembered that I had called the Friday before he came and asked if he planned to spray. He said he did. Yet he came in with no equipment or chemicals! Because of that and his refusal to accept any responsibility for my ongoing problems I have no faith or trust in Budget Pest Control. I just want my money back so I can hire someone who will do the job effectively. All he had to do was take 10-15 minutes to remove the items he mentioned, spray my apartment as he had promised -- I had already made arrangements to leave -- and we might have been done with this!! This is the second year that we have used this company. Both years we have had no problem with the infiltration of ants. We had problems in the past. They apparently took care of them.

Excellent. Originally scheduled for May 23rd, I asked to reschedule to another day. No problem. Tech called about 30 minutes prior to visit. Tech came, sprayed and asked me if I was satisfied with his work. Didn't catch his name, but I want to make sure that his management knows that he's a good guy. All good.

A completely standard pest control service call. The technician was punctual, professional, and apparently did a great job because I haven't seen a single ant in the last week. That's the best I can hope for!

Found Budget Pest Control through Angie's List and have used them for several years. They are extremely helpful in suggesting best times for scheduling treatments and call to confirm before the scheduled time. Their treatment for in-ground wasp nests has been effective. Their tech, Nick, is patient, polite, and helpful with advice and information. He is also very thorough when he checks the house and yard before and after applications. Very thankful to have found this capable company.

We called on Friday May 8th and they were very responsive. They asked us some questions about the bugs and asked us to keep a few just so they could confirm the type of termite. Mike himself came out the next Monday May 11th. He was on time and very professional. He explained in detail that we had a ground type of termite that does not actually live in the house but travels to the house to feed from their external nests. He did a full inspection of the affected area as well as the rest of the basement. He recommended that we go with Termidor which would be applied as a barrier around the perimeter of the house. The termites would go through this barrier during their activity and get the Termidor on their bodies and ingest it which would eventually kill the colony. He scheduled our treatment for Monday May 18th. On Monday the 18th another employee from Budget arrived on time and proceeded to quickly and professionally apply the treatment to the perimeter of the house. This involved drilling holes through our front porch slab and driveway. The holes were neatly drilled and filled very nicely when he was done. He was quite friendly and professional as well. We will continue to monitor the spots where the termites were spotted to determine if they have gone. I would recommend Budget and would not hesitate to call them for any other extermination needs we may have.

I called them back to treat the house again because the bugs are back and they're coming on Saturday. They got rid of the bees and they had me signed up for a monthly or every other month treatment and I didn't understand that they were gonna go through the winter. I was a little pissed that I didn't understand that that's what's happening and they give me a bill for each treatment. The bees are back as they said they would be if I stopped the treatment. They're good and they were honest. I found them through Angie's List. They got rid of the bees. They were fine. They give you a time when they were there. They did a good job.

We used an Angie's List special deal. It went very well. He was very professional and the treatment worked. The ants have disappeared!

They were really easy to work with. I needed a quick treatment to satisfy terms of a home inspection report for sale. They were able to do exactly what was required for a very fair price. The man who came to the house was punctual, explained everything, including how the treatment might affect my pets and how long to keep them away from the treated area, and he was extremely friendly.

He was professional. My ant problem is gone.

The service went fine. They came out a second time and took care of the problem. They were prompt and I would use them again.

It was fine. There was really nothing special. They came out and put in some traps and they left. I don't really have anything to compare the price to.

They are great people to work with.

It's been a while, so the date and price are likely not 100% accurate, but those are ballpark figures. Budget completely took care of the issue and so far we have not had any recurring issues with that nest. They killed everything in the nest and removed the nest itself just in case. I would be more than happy to use them again if we were to have a new nest pop up in our garden.

Paul was on time for this appointment. He had called to touch base when he was on his way but we played phone tag. He looked at the area of concern and noted that there was a small amount of frass, sawdust left by carpenter ants. This area also had past termite damage prior to me owning this home. He determined it was indeed old damage and wasn't concerned about it at this time. Paul used the fogger to try to drive out any carpenter ants that may have been there. He was unable to locate them or drive any out. He had asked me if I had seen any ants. I did not. He explained that due to the fact that he wasn't seeing any, wasn't able to drive any out, and that I hadn't seen ants, treatment wasn't necessary. He stated that he would provide a treatment if I wanted him to do so for peace of mind. Due to my wife being pregnant and having a young child in the home, I didn't want to introduce any chemicals if it wasn't necessary. I opted not to have him treatment the area. We determined that I would clean the area and keep an eye on it to see if there was still an issue. I greatly appreciated his honesty and the fact that he did not try to push the work and sell me services that I did not need. I will definitely call Budget Pest Control if this area becomes of concern or if I have any other pest issues.

Whatever chemical they used to treat it, it worked. A very good experience.

They sprayed for termites inside and outside. They came out and did the job, and I liked that they were on time, were professional, got it done, and got out.
