When my computer crashed I was at a loss- I'm a self confessed Luddite and am not good with technology. I knew I needed to call Angie's List to get the name of someone good who wouldn't take advantage of my obvious computer illiteracy- and Brian was great. He made an appt for later that day, and then called after he had a cancellation and was able to come over sooner. He explained about how a hard drive could break and assured me he'd have it back the next morning! I never thought it could be done that fast!! He had me hold onto my Seagate backup just in case, but he was able to retrieve everything from my broken drive. He was here this morning bright and early to get my DSL up and running and my printer reinstalled with the new Windows 7 he installed. I decided to go with that rather than my old Windows XP since he was able to charge only for the program and no extra for the labor. He helpfully answered all my questions. He also told me to write down any questions I had while working with my new system and contact him with any problems or questions I have. I felt my computer was in good hands with Brian, and having the special link on it now where he can remotely help and fix problems makes me feel lots better-no more computer woes! After I had problems with my DSL Brian came out and checked my router and modem. I had him replace my router and found the DSL problems was on Verizon's end. I was unable to get Verizon to fix the problem so I ordered Fios. After it was installed Brian came back out and got the new router all configured with the Fios and got my computer up and running, removed some unneeded programs, tweaked and fixed and voila!-my computer is back online, running great and I'm a happy camper!!

Brian called and made an appt and was at my home at the exact time scheduled. He was courteous and professional. He worked on my computer for approx. 75 minutes and quite frankly, the improvement exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend him.

The BQV technician was professional in his analysis of the problem, his logical approach to fixing it, his sensitivity to transfering data and making some data available for our daughter to use while the computer was being serviced, and helpful in his suggestion for updating our computer's operating program. The price looks high but includes quite a bit of work. Additionally, the technician has made himself available for a specified time of free remote support.

I obtained Brian's name from Angie's List. I called him and set up an appointment. He came right on time. He knew exactly what he was doing. He was courteous, professional and very patient with me. (I can be a bit uncomprehending sometimes, especially with anything technical.) He explained everything he was doing. Although, as I mentioned above, I bought quite an array of computer stuff from him, he never even suggested that I buy whatever it was that I needed from him. I was the one who asked him if he had such and such, and, of course, he had everything I needed right in his car. That was terrific for me because I wanted everything right away. In all, dealing with Brian was pleasant and productive. He's a very competent young man. And, while I'd like to think that I have everything under control now, I probably will need help in the future. I will surely call Brian for any further technical assistance I need.

Arrived on time, went straight to work, analyzed issues (slow response, printer errors, I had been unable to download latest Adobe Reader, which he fixed, tested hard drive, and eliminated a noise from my (no longer used) floppy disc.

Brian showed up exactly on time and proved to be a very cordial and friendly person who promptly went to work streightening out my computer problems!! He explained every step of the way and advised me on stopping some of the hazourdous habits of downloading software that had accumulated on my PC while deleting them at the same time!! I found out that some of the software I had downloaded to clean up my computer, was actually slowing it's performance plus endangering the systems integrity!! He than helped me set up a permanent backup system so that if a problem occured and my computer crashed, my data would be safe! I think I have found a new company to help with any computer problems!!

Brian was pleasant to deal with on the phone, scheduled an appointment within a reasonable amount of time, arrived promptly on the day of the appointment, was professional yet social and easy to talk with. I felt comfortable having him in my home. We discussed new computers - he does sell Dells - but he was not pushy and did not try to scare me into purchasing anything. He answered all of my questions with patience. I would (and have) recommend this service to others.

He is excellent. He is very knowledgeable, prompt, reliable, and is quick to respond with any issues that you may have. The price varies with the amount of work that is necessary--I have paid him anywhere from $100 to $500 to redo my entire computer.

He is a bit expensive, but he is was well worth it. He knows exactly what he is doing. He can get into your computer while you are on it and let you know what is wrong. I used to work with computers for a long time, so I feel like I know what he is doing is a great job.

I took two laptops to Brian to be fixed. My husband is job searching so turn around on fixing his computer was critical. I dropped both laptops off on Friday at 3:30 p.m. and they were both ready by Saturday a.m. at 10:00 - wow! Brian added memory to one computer and cleaned up some of the software stuff, etc . . . On the other he fixed a printer connection - HP printer to Dell - which was causing problems if I had to reboot the computer. He also "fixed stuff" that was casing the DVD not to work - start up software or something.He explained everything, was very professional, both laptops work perfectly . . . and the turn around was incredible! He knows his business - he'll be our regular computer guy for sure. He also sells Dells, and we'll make sure we talk to him before we buy anything in the future. He's just one of those guys who knows is stuff and isn't just doing this on the fly.

He made some suggestions for minor changes and replacement for aging mouse and at my suggestion a new keyboard, both of which he will bring at next regularly scheduled visit. I found him very knowledgeable and appreciated that he could listen to and answer my questions while he worked. This was a first time experience with this company as he recently replaced my previous service, who left the business. I was very pleased. A few days later I had a spreadsheet question which I emailed him and he responded to promptly.

I use him as needed. His prices are good and he provides quick turn around time. He's good at saving me money, telling me when it is no longer worth it to repair a computer and he replaces it instead. I have used him for three years.
