+ 0 moreBob has done numerous refinishing and repair jobs on three different occasions for me and each time the work has been perfect, timely and affordable. I had a piece of furniture which was very old and had sentimental value. It was in need of repair and I was very nervous about entrusting anyone with it. Bob was able to duplicate the missing pieces and did such a nice job that I now have it on display in my family room. I don't even bother shopping around when I need refinishing/repair work because I know Bob will do a wonderful job at a fair price. I would highly recommend him.

Bob was very easy to work with and repaired the chairs in a timely manner. The chairs look great and we are very happy with the results as well as the cost. I would feel very comfortable in recommending Bob’s service to anyone.

Description of Work: After a full kitchen remodel from light oak to cherry cabinets, our matching custom-built light oak dining room furniture looked dated and needed a corresponding update. We looked into buying new dining room furniture, but hated the thought of basically giving away our well-built custom furniture. After talking with Bob and hearing his price quote (which was less than half the cost of new furniture), we agreed to try his refinishing services, which included pick-up and delivery. This was DEFINITELY the right decision! Bob stripped our old furniture and refinished all the pieces to closely match the cherry cabinets in our new kitchen. He also installed new hinges and drawer/cabinet door hardware on the buffet. We couldn’t be happier with Bob’s work and his communication of updates along the way. This job took about three weeks (which was exactly what he told us up front) vs. the approximate three MONTHS that one of his much higher priced competitors estimated. Despite a couple of unanticipated issues that arose along the way, Bob held to the price estimate that he gave us up front. Both my wife and I really enjoyed working with Bob and would highly recommend his services to anyone!! Thanks again, Bob, for a job VERY well done...

The original finish was very worn and there were painted stencils on both the table and chair backs that were difficult to remove. . Bob is very good about staying in touch. When he ran into an issue during the refinishing he called to discuss. I'd definitely go back to him with another project.
