He was very professional listened to did exactly what I wanted charged a very fair price and was very timely in completing the jobs.

I had two interior doors which were stained/varnished a very dark brown. I wanted them to match other doors that I were refinished in the 1980s. Bob asked a few questions and provided me a price for stripping, sanding and refinishing. He came and picked up the doors at a convenient time for both of us. When it was time to stain, he called to suggest the stain color. After checking it out, I told him I thought a lighter shade was a closer match. Communication with him was very easy. He picks up the phone and/or returns calls promptly. When he brought the doors back, I was delighted with the outcome. The doors were sanded and stained very professionally AND my selection of stain color was a good choice. From start to finish my doors were back in less than 2 weeks. I am so pleased, I have told others about his service.

Bob refinished a bed for me that had been stored in the attic and had sustained some water damage. He also helped with some loose chair back. All his work was nicely done and in a very timely fashion. He picks up and delivers. I highly recommend him.

Outstanding customer service from Bob. I had some antique dining room chairs that needed to be repaired. His price was very competitive and he promised delivery within 3 weeks. I got them back in about 10 days. I also had a chair that needed its caning insert to be replaced. Unbelievable attention to detail including the stain applied to the caning. Bob is courteous, thorough, and supremely efficient. I will always use his services for my furniture repairs or refinishing. I have used many pros from Angi and he should be in their Hall of Fame.

I cannot recommend Bob more highly. We had a 75+ year-old dining room table and chairs to be stripped and refinished. We started doing the project ourselves but during the stripping process, we realized it was a job for a professional. From the first time we spoke to Bob, he went out of his way to help - making suggestions, helping coordinate logistics, really taking into account both what we wanted and the character of the furniture. When we got everything back, it was absolutely beautiful. Honestly, it was better than we even expected. We contacted multiple companies/individuals before choosing Bob, and his prices were by far the most reasonable. In fact, one company quoted us a price that was literally four times (you read that right - FOUR TIMES) what Bob charged and I cannot imagine they could have done better work. I would absolutely - and happily - hire Bob again.

Bob was fantastic to work with. He gave honest opinions about the work to be done on my Mom's 40 year old dining room set. He came out to our home to see the furniture. He finished our chairs and had an amazing contact to complete the caining, which is like a work of art. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking to revitalize furniture to look like new!

Bob repaired the structural integrity of an 1870 oak dining room table and refinished the top. He did the estimate based on pictures. We easily arranged a time for him to pick up the table. He was accommodating and did the repair/ refinishing while I was away on a long trip and returned a wonderful job the day after I came back in time for a long planned dinner party. He did excellent work, although he used some parts and techniques (e.g. angle brackets to shore up the table's integrity) that were inconsistent with the antique nature of the table. Still the work was excellently done and prompt. The table is very solid now, and the refinishing job was excellent. I would definitely use Bob again for similar work.

When we remodeled our kitchen, I knew I wanted to have my family table refinished. It’s been in the house since 1974. So many memories made around this table and with 5 leaves, it has seen countless parties, games, meals, the random craft project and was well used. We love how it turned out!! If you are looking for someone to refinish your family heirloom, I highly recommend Bob Lewicke. He is a great guy who loves what he does. Bob is friendly, was accommodating to our schedule and explained what he could, and could not, do. He picked up on a Saturday and we had our table back ten days later. We can’t wait to create more memories around this beauty.

Bob repaired two counter height kitchen chairs for me. He did the work promptly and professionally and at a very reasonable price. It went very well--no problem whatsoever. One of our antique table legs snapped off during our move. He glued and pinned it for a reasonable price within a week of when we dropped it off.

Bob recently refinished a dining room table top with two pull out leaves. It was a vintage table and had seen a lot of use. He made repairs to two areas where veneer had been chipped away and took out a large circular burn mark that had probably been there for years. He had to refinish with a sightly darker stain which he explained to me before he began work. The finished top blends in beautifully with the base. My communication with Bob was excellent. He returned calls quickly, explained everything he had to do and what issues might be problematic. He completed the job sooner that I was expecting despite being ill for part of the time he had the piece.

Bob restored a treasured 75 yr old maple Deacon's bench that had seen better days. Not only was the work completed sooner than expected but the finished product exceeded our expectations. That little bench has a whole new life and some day will be passed down to out next generation.
