Bob repaired two counter height kitchen chairs for me. He did the work promptly and professionally and at a very reasonable price. Bob even went out of his way to smooth out the scratches and dings in the old chairs making them look better than ever! He is a craftsman who takes pride in his work and a super nice guy.

It went very well--no problem whatsoever. One of our antique table legs snapped off during our move. He glued and pinned it for a reasonable price within a week of when we dropped it off.

Bob recently refinished a dining room table top with two pull out leaves. It was a vintage table and had seen a lot of use. He made repairs to two areas where veneer had been chipped away and took out a large circular burn mark that had probably been there for years. He had to refinish with a sightly darker stain which he explained to me before he began work. The finished top blends in beautifully with the base. My communication with Bob was excellent. He returned calls quickly, explained everything he had to do and what issues might be problematic. He completed the job sooner that I was expecting despite being ill for part of the time he had the piece.

Bob restored a treasured 75 yr old maple Deacon's bench that had seen better days. Not only was the work completed sooner than expected but the finished product exceeded our expectations. That little bench has a whole new life and some day will be passed down to out next generation.

Bob did a great job refinishing some 100 year old plus oak chairs and a badly scratched oak table top. The turn around time was better than expected, and we love the pieces. He has a very neat and spacious work area in Lawrenceville. We delivered and picked up our furniture. He also worked on some kitchen cabinet doors and provided a little take home repair kit for future needs. Very personable and honest, great communication on progress of refinishing.

Bob did a fantastic job on 2 pieces of furniture that I wanted a more modern finish. A round Stickley metropolitan style table with a shiny dark cherry and a Pottery Barn dark mahogany shiny finished trunk. I am thrilled with both pieces. He is a true professional, accessible and honest about expected outcomes. I now have the modern light matte finish I wanted. I would highly recommend Bob and would hire him again and again. Fair pricing and a super accommodating person. And a really nice guy.

Bob is great to work with. He has done work with me in the past and is always a pleasure to talk to. I had a table with water damage that caused peeling veneer. Bob gave me some options and went over the pros and cons of some different approaches to doing the repairs. He was also very helpful and responsive when I was picking out paint products at the store. I certainly would recommend him for any repairs.

This is the fourth piece we've had Bob refinish for my family and I, and there's a reason we keep going back. He is prompt and respectful, easy to communicate with and the quality of his work is genuinely excellent. The price is certainly competitive and worth every penny. Will be using him again, no doubt.

My chairs are 40 years old and have been used daily. When I first contacted Bob for an estimate I told him the needed stripped and refinished so that is what the initial cost was based on. The seats were dull from perspiration and marked up with scratches. The tops of the backs were gummy and faded from handling When he came to pick up the chairs and saw their condition he suggested he could make me just as happy by concentrating on just the areas that were worn and it would cut my cost in half. Before contacting Bob I had become familiar with his work and read his reviews so I had no reason not to trust his judgement. He was right I am more than happy with my chairs! He is the real deal indeed! I totally appreciated his honesty, professionalism, and his skilled craftsmanship! I look forward to working with him again.

Bob did an incredible job! The bedroom set belonged to my parents and had sentimental meaning for me. He repaired some damaged areas, stabilized the framework, and refinished it to a beautiful set. Bob consulted with me on everything he was doing and helped me choose a stain that would be appropriate. He was very upfront and honest. He was also fun and enjoyable to work with. I had a great experience and LOVE my "new" bedroom set! I highly recommend Bob.

Bob was great throughout the entire process. He was prompt to return my phone call, gave me an estimate over the phone from pictures that I had sent him. Great, not only did Bob respond right away, he came and picked the chairs up for us, 3 at a time and took just a week to repair each set. He cleaned them, all six are not only repaired but look great. He looked at the table as well. He have me another idea on how to fix something while at our house. Quite a craftsman!

Bob did a great job! I wasn’t sure what to expect as the table needed a great deal of work. He exceeded my expectations! The table looks brand new! He completed the work in a timely manner. When he brought the table back, he fixed the corner of a coffee table that our dog had chewed. I would definitely have Bob do other work for us. He was a pleasure to work with!

Bob was great right from the start. He took the time to find out about what I wanted and asked for a few pictures. Once he took an initial look at the piece of furniture I wanted worked on (a Curio Cabinet) we arranged a day to drop it off at his shop. I met Bob at his shop and we went over my expectations. He gave me a fair price on touch up, finish, and mirror replacement. This was December 17th and I had no expectations that I'd have this back before Christmas. Bob called me on the 22nd to let me know it was done and price was what we discussed. It made my wife's Christmas as this was a piece of furniture that has been in her family. Bob's a very personable guy and I'll return to him with any furniture needs as well as send others his way.

Bob repaired and refinished our 50 year old Ethan Allen chairs a few years ago and matched the stain perfectly. We had him refinish the table legs and, again, beautiful work. Would recommend him anytime!!
