Bob did a very nice job. He was punctual. He arrived when he said he would and finished the project on time. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again in the future.

The furniture was done by the promised date and both pieces look good.

The furniture is 55 years old and in wonderful condition but with noticeable wear. Bob made this furniture look showroom new. He did a wonderful job and in a very timely manner. I have additional pieces for him!

The workmanship was beyond my expectation !! My chairs are as good as when they were purchased 16 years ago. I cannot rave enough about Bob's work and his professionalism in completing the work and delivering my chairs on the promised date.

I am late in writing this review, but a promise is a promise! I took these chairs to Bob and asked if they could be saved, but he never had any doubt. Wow, and I will never have any doubt he can fix just about anything! It was great to look around his workshop and see all the different pieces he was working on -- china closets, tables, chairs (LOTS of chairs!), dressers. Some were absolutely gorgeous and had been neglected for many years, but I am sure they came out of his shop looking brand-new. I was speechless when I picked up the chairs, you can't even see where the repairs took place. Just wonderful!!

I called Bob because of his many positive reviews, plus his workshop is fairly close to me. He returned my call the same day and was very flexible in making time to see the chairs. One chair had an arm off and both chairs needed to be tightened up. Their finishes were worn as well. Bob felt it would be no problem to fix them up and showed me examples of some of his current refinishing projects so I left the chairs with him. He called me back in about 3-4 days to pick them up which was amazing! The chairs look fabulous and he refreshed the finish so the colors bloomed but they are not glossy or varnished looking. These chairs are very old (1870's?) with hand carved backs so I was a little nervous about what the results might be. I am completely happy with Bob's work, his promptness and the price. I have two more chairs, not quite so old but still antiques, that need to be tightened up and will call to have him look at them soon.

He was just amazing, prompt and conscientious. He doesn't look at anything like it won't work, he is innovative. His prices were amazing. He takes his time and doesn't hurry, and is very pleasant to be around. For something like this, it is difficult to find a good company, but I have found one.

Bob is wonderful. I called on a Saturday, dropped the furniture off the next day. The furniture was about 10 years old and had seen better days, but I didn't want to buy a brand new bedroom set. The furniture looks new! Bob is professional and told us the furniture would be ready in two weeks and it was. He even delivered the furniture so we didn't have to make two trips to pick up. He does beautiful work!!!!

You can stop searching for a knowledgeable source for refinishing furniture. This is the guy to use. We were ready to put these chairs to the curb. Glad we didn't! They look new. Bob was easy to deal with. The turn around time was less than what he originally told us. He quoted a fair price and we got back more than what I expected. I dropped off the chairs and picked them up. Bob will also pick up and deliver. He has a sizeable shop.. clean and organized. I looked at other projects he was working on.. tables, chairs, bedroom sets, etc. All looked great.

Bob did an excellent job refinishing an old antique table. He was meticulous with finishing the inlaid top. He called and told me when it would be done and when I could pick it up. Very dependable. I am very pleased with the finished product. Nadine

I found Bob's work to be extremely neat and study. The new table legs added to the now, two demilune tables look like they were part of the original table. I couldn't be happier with the quality and timeliness of Bob's work. I would definitely recommend Bob for any repair work on wood furniture and I'm already thinking about other repairs I'll be asking Bob to handle.

He picked it up from one location and stored it until I was ready for it at my other House. He was very kind and did very good work

Bob stripped the old finish, sanded out any imperfections and refinished the exterior. We also wanted to add four legs to the bottom of the chest. Bob found four matching legs at a very reasonable cost and installed and finished them. They look like they were original to the chest. The work done was outstanding. Bob's a great guy, reasonably priced and does top notch work. You can't go wrong... Thanks.

When we first called, Bob put us off because he had several jobs going at that time, but did tell us to call back a few days later. When we next called, he still didn't have space. Also, since we had no way to transport the table, he said he'd have to charge extra to transport it. This was agreeable to us, and we weren't in any rush to have the job done. After week or so, we made an appointment for him to come over and gave directions to reach our house. Bob arrived a few minutes early and looked over the table. There were three problems: a piece of the skirt had broken off, one of the two leaves had developed a nasty habit of giving way in the middle of a big dinner, and the stretcher connecting the legs had become loose. He gave us an estimate for the job, but said that it could be more if he had trouble with the bad leaf. We helped him load the table in his vehicle, which isn't much bigger than my SUV, and he said it would be done in about two weeks. He called about ten days later and said he was ready to bring the table back, but that he would have to do the final gluing with the table upside down in our home, because of its size and the difficulty of maneuvering it up the stairs and into the house. Again we were agreeable to this, and the date and time were agreed upon. Bob called early this morning to check on the road conditions in our neighborhood, and we gave him the all clear. He arrived a few minutes early, and we brought the table in. He did the final assembly, explaining all the work he had done, including the bad leaf, and that the price would indeed be $50.00 more, which was actually the price we had hoped for before contacting anybody. Bob did not do any real refinishing for us, as I had done that job a few years ago. We were quite satisfied, and talked a bit about another job he might do for us.

Bob responded quickly. Picked chairs up and delivered to my home. Repaired loose chairs and touched up scratches. Work was completed when he said it would be. He does excellent work. Very satisfied. Would highly recommend Bob. Great person to deal with!

Excellent job. When I called, Bob got back to me right away. He came and gave me an estimate, and came to the house to pick up the piece. Because of the size of the object, he needed help, so he had to come back a couple of times,which was OK with me. Very good communication on getting the handles I wanted (I ordered them, but he gave me a lot of good tips on where to look, etc). The piece turned out BEAUTIFULLY, it looks brand new. He gets a ton of credit in my book, because when he came, he needed a screw driver which I didn't have, which he forgot, so he actually ran out and bought another one. I think anyone else would have either said and quot;S.O.Land quot; or and quot;Oh, I'll have to come back next week,next month, or whateverand quot;. What a very nice man! If I had any other pieces that needed refinishing, you had better believe this is the man I would go to! Too bad there is not an A+ button to click on Angie's List, because Bob would get it!

I was given an old, broken maple kitchen table that has a lot of sentimental value to us. Bob reattached the table leg and the table now is very sturdy. He completely refinished the table and it looks terrific. We have placed it in the center of our kitchen where it will give us many years of use. Bob returned my calls promptly, was a pleasure to deal with, gave us a very fair price, and showed up on time. He picked up and delivered the table to our home.

We had gotten quotes on refinishing just the gate leg table that were 2 - 3 times the price Bob asked to do both pieces. His work is excellent, we are very happy.

My chair was falling apart. I tried fixing it myself, but only made matters worse. Bob fixed it in 48 hours and undid all my damage. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Bought a nice old table at auction a few weeks back. Had some rough spots and what looked like water marks. Bob was able to refinish and still bring out the real beauty in the grain. What a great job. I would use Bob again for any refinish project I might have

Bob is responsive - called me within an hour of my leaving a message. He gave me very clear directions for finding his shop in Lawrenceville. He was friendly. His price was fair. He had the chair done when he said it would be. I would certainly use him again and highly recommend him.

We had a 30 year old coffee table. The top was scratched and stained black from years of use. Bob was able to restore the surface to brand new. We needed the table done quickly for a party and he had it done in plenty of time. He was also the most reasonable of all the estimates we obtained. We recommend him highly and would definitely use him again.

The chair came out looking absolutely lovely. He choose the right stain color and used a great varnish. It was very easy and enjoyable to work with him, because he loves his refinishing work. He completed the job in about a week.
