When I placed my original call to Lawrence aka Butch, the owner, I caught him on a job so he said he would call me over the weekend or the following week to set up an appointment date and when I didn't hear from him I called him back the following week and he was very sorry not to have returned my call and did set up a date to do the work. He and a co-worker showed up on time and were very professional and did an excellent job installing my fan but also replaced a faulty light switch pro-bono because he was sorry I had to call him back. That was not necessary but I was very pleased he did so. As if that wasn't enough, they cleaned up and removed the new fan packing material as well as the old fan. I will definitely use him again.

Butch called to let me know he was on his way on the date and within the time frame he gave me. He was very courteous and his work was done professionally, quickly and within the price range. Installation looks great. Butch showed me the outlet and explained its operation. Will use BN Electric again for any future electrical work.

I am selling my home and the buyers did a home inspection which found in the electrical panel 3 breakers were double tapped and there were 3 spaces open. The inspector also indicated there was an outlet that the polarity was reversed. I spoke with Butch to set up a visit for an estimate and he was able to come out that same day. He was very prompt, friendly and helpful. He found that the outlet was wired and working correctly. He also gave me an estimate for the double taps and open spaces and offered to fix them for me while he was there if I so chose to do so. The price was reasonable so I had him complete the work. I am very satisfied with the work and service I received.

Butch called to say he could arrive early, which was great. He quickly determined the problem with the flickering light was a simple replacement of a switch which he replaced. The intercom also needed to be replaced and he got a quote from the manufacturer which was quite high. He also told me he is taking them out of homes and apartments now that people are using their cell phones; based on the high cost, not repairing or replacing the intercom made the most sense. Finally, he replaced the doorbell with a lighted version. I was very satisfied with the job. Butch was professional and made the most of his time, including a trip off-site to pick up the doorbell and switch. All of this was done for the $99 Angie's List special price. I would definitely use his services again.

The two guys did put the lights on. I thought it balanced out. They took off right away and one bulb did not work. Not sure if they wired it wrong or not. I thought they were anxious to leave.

I called BN Electric after purchasing one of Angies Big Deal coupons. They were able to come within a week of my calling them. I wanted to replace a 2-prong outlet in my basement into a 3-prong outlet so that my new sump pump could be plugged in properly. They took care of this problem in no time. Also, in my new bathroom, I wanted the outlets turned around so that I could put a nightlight/air freshener in right-side-up. It seems that the outlets were put in upside down. And they made quick work of this, too. The final job was for them to figure out why my brand new ceiling fan was making scraping noises. They discovered that the bearings in the fan were making the noise, and not an electric wire being abraded. I was very glad to know that it was not something that would cause a fire. All in all, the 2 gentlemen who came to do the work were very nice and knowledgeable. I learned a lot from them. I would definitely call on them in the future.

Everything seemed okay, but after he left the doorbell didn't work. No information on new circuit breaker to identify outlets for me.

Butch, the owner of Band N was prompt, always returned phone calls, his estimate was accurate, and the work he and his crew performed was amazing. Only a short piece of cable was visible in the basement, when I expected that they would have to break out major portions of the walls and ceiling.

Butch was prompt in responding to my phone call for an estimate. Work was performed within our scheduled time frame and Butch and his workers were prompt and efficient. Butch followed up within a few days to make sure that we were satisfied with the job. it was a good experience and we had no problems or issues with the work. Will we continue to use him for any future electrical work that we may need.

He was prompt, efficient, professional and punctual. What he was not was careful. None of the plastic cups he put in the wall (for the plug sockets) are straight. Many of them were improperly anchored, so that they come out of the wall if you pull a plug. Its unsafe wiring to say the least. Also, although he nominally laid 20amp wires around the house, we cannot turn on two electrical heaters (1000 watt) at the same time without the circuit tripping. We brought another electrician in and he claimed it would be too expensive to test and fix. The problem seems to be with the people he employed. While he is personally very competent and intelligent, one cannot say the same for his employees. So, everything that was done when he wasn't looking isn't exactly good work. One of them actually took a sledgehammer to our walls to punch a hole, when the correct thing would've been to use a drill.

This is the second time I have hired Butch and his assistant to work on my home. This time he provided and installed six 4' florescent lights and three electrical outlets in my basement. He also installed a ceiling fan that I provided and moved a ceiling light to a new location. He arrived on time, finished the job in one day and cleaned up when the job is done. I asked them to be careful about not letting my 2 cats slip out the door as they were coming in and out of the house. They were great about that!

I like the fact that they are prompt and courteous. They answered the phone and returned calls in a timely manner. They do what they say they are going to do and their prices are fair.

I live out of town so I had to trust someone would change out the electric service box as we talked about it over the phone. This is for a single family house I own that is rented out. I do trust the reviews on Angie's list. I made a couple of calls to various electrical contractors and I could tell that Bruce would do the job as promised. He did and went above and beyond. I gave him a phone contact of my tenants. He called them and arrived just as he said he would..on time. While he was in the house, he called me a couple of times and kept me informed as to what he found. I gave him the go ahead to proceed with the job. When he finished my tenant said that he cleaned up after himself as if he wasn't even there. Very satisfied!

They were excellent. The owner was very prompt in coming to give us the estimate. It was very detailed at met the price of the estimate. He was great with his communication skills. They cleaned up well. He did nothing that I didn't approve of. He was good at making suggestions.
