BKG Design - Budget Kitchen & Granite

A kitchen remodel is probably the most disruptive house project one can undertake. While it's hard to lose a kitchen for about 4 weeks, we were very happy with the work done by BKG Design. Noelle was great to work with and she was very patient as we decided what cabinet and granite was right for our house. She added a lot of value in helping us come up with a great design that was within our budget. Sean was our installer and he and his team did an awesome job turning a 1960's kitchen into a great looking asset for our home. They were very flexible in making sure the timing of the install worked with us. For an affordable kitchen that looks like more than it costs, I would heartily recommend BKG Design.

Our experience with BKG Design was great. Noelle helped to design our kitchen and did a great job. The quality of the materials and the price can't be beat. Everyone we worked with was very friendly and knowledgable. They make sure everything was done to the specifications that we asked for and in a timely manner. I could not be more pleased with our decision to use BKG Design to help remodel our kitchen. We would highly recommend them!

We were extremely pleased with Budget Kitchen and Batch. From our first meeting with Noelle to meeting with Sean (General Contractor) to finished cabinetry, everything was smooth. Noelle did an excellent job working with my wife and I to furnish a design that worked for our town home as well as helping us pick out the right materials. We really didn't know what we wanted until we met with Noelle in the showroom. Sean was really great to work with and explained everything clearly to us. He performed the demo and also some additional plumbing and electrical work in the house. He also raised our counter top to bar height. He and his crew worked fast and did the job right. He called me several times a day to check in and make sure we were satisfied with the work. We could not be more pleased with Budget Kitchen and Bath.

The cabinets and countertops arrived on time just as they said they would. The installers were also here on time. They were unbelievable. They worked quickly and very professionally. They covered all the floors and entrance ways. I went from 6 cabinets to 15 in 2 days. We feel like we moved to a new home. We are sooo happy . I will always recommend Budget kitchen and Bath to everyone I know when I brag and show off my new kitchen.

The result of our kitchen remodel with BKG Design could not have been better! We are simply thrilled with the outcome of the project and will not hesitate to work with them again in the future. The design was perfect to maximize our space. Noelle worked with us on three different designs over a period of time and gave us attention both in person and via email. She helped us make choices along the way for cabinetry, granite, and travertine (natural stone used for the backsplash). She accommodated our alterations to the design and assisted with every detail from the knobs and handles to deciding for or against granite - and everything in between. By the way, we love our granite countertops and the installers did an extremely precise and wonderful job! Installation of our beautiful light cherry cabinetry and gorgeous travertine backsplash were precisely completed by Mac Remodeling with care to every detail not to mention kindness and patience with our dog! Sean and his team were excellent to work with and considerate to our scheduling needs - easy to communicate with and in close contact with us throughout the entire process. Sean advised us about our special order dishwasher, soft touch controlled garbage disposal, surprise electrical needs and more - he was integral to the successful completion of the project while ensuring the safety of our home - we are not only satisfied but also grateful to have worked with this team of experts. Perfect! They always kept us up to speed on when the items were arriving. Very easy to get ahold of! Great customer service. We loved getting to go to Mont granite to pick out our slab, so we knew EXACTLY which piece of granite we were getting.

Great price, excellent service. There was a mistake from the installers and the laminate started to peel off at the edges near the sink. Mike who was my contact scheduled a date to replace the entire counter-top at no extra charge. I am very happy with the service. Will do business again. The issue was with installers and it was rectified. Thank you.

We planned on shopping around to local places for both quality and price when making plans for our gameroom kitchen. Budget Kitchen was our first stop, and we were very pleased with the professionalism of Terra, the quality of materials, and the price. We didn't even need to go anywhere else and signed the contract with Budget right away. We had a very pleasant experience all around from the designing to the installation.

I worked with Terra directly at Budget Kitchen & Bath. Terra provided me with a detailed layout of what my kitchen would look like and exact cabinet sizes. Prior to going to Budget Kitchen and Bath (which I will refer to as BKB from now on) I went to two well know home improvement stores to price out my cabinets. One store wanted well over 6,000 and another store with cheaper cabinets wanted 3,700. Terra priced me out quality and beautiful cabinets, cheaper than both stores. She was able to work with size of my kitchen as well as my needs and wants for it as well. To save money, I chose to install the cabinets myself, however there was an issue during the drop off period, when my garage door was locked when it was supposed to be open for the delivery. The driver was nice enough and moved some junk I had on my patio, put cardboard down to protect the cabinets and left them there for me. The driver notified me when he was done, I inspected the cabinets and there wasn't one scratch on them. Even just dropping them off, he handled my cabinets with extreme care. When I had finally installed my base cabinets, I realized a few cosmetic issues with a drawer. I notified Terra, and she got the cabinet fixed for me in no time. I have had nothing but a positive experience at BKB and Terra.

From beginning to end it went better than I ever could have anticipated. From the minute I walked in the door, it was nothing like the big box stores which pressure you into buying everything while spending tons of money on very cheaply made products. When I entered the North Hills store, everyone was extremely friendly, and no pressure was put on me to make a purchase. When I did decide to make a purchase, everything was handled so seamlessly, it was such a relief knowing that everything was going so smoothly and no errors were being made. Even better, I was so surprised at the higher quality of the product for even less of the price at the big box stores. When the installation was scheduled, everything happened exactly as planned, and the products were the exact quality in which I saw in the store. Everything happen on time, exactly how they said it would happen with great attention to detail. As far as being available, I was informed every step of the way in what was happening, and any questions were answered almost immediately. As a first time customer, not only am I thoroughly satisfied, but I would 100% use them again.

Noelle, my Kitchen Designer was fantastic. She was very knowledgable. She guided me into the right cabinetry and countertops to fit my budget. She couldve talked me into anything but she cared more about helping me out then trying to over charge me! I enjoyed working with her because she made the experience very comfortable and we had some laughs throughout the process which made it fun and exciting and most of all stress-free! I will be sure to refer her and BKG Design :)

Now one by one all the puck lights are go out and will not came back on. I am afraid to call this company back for fear they will charge me even more to correct this.

It was great. Noelle Helped us pick out and design the kitchen of our dreams. We showed her the color of the walls which were dark gray and the floors and she helped us pick gorgeous white cabinets and designed a staggered look for our cabinets. We decided the island needed an over hanging counter top for bar stools. She also showed us options for a range hood in between the cabinets and we loved it! She couldn't have had a better eye for what we wanted. She finished it off with modern handles at a great price. She listened to all our concerns and made us a 3D model of the kitchen. This place is the best and Noelle's expertise was very apparent. We highly recommend Budget Kitchen & Bath!

Our service with BKG designs was excellent. We are first time home buyers, and the stress of remodeling a kitchen (or anything for that matter) was overwhelming. We were driving down Perry Hwy, getting to know the area, and passed BKG designs. We figured we would go in and look, see what they were about. They had a ton of options and decently priced. Noelle was so helpful and nice, which put us at ease. SHe walked us though the process step by step and made this transition easy for us. We wanted this process to be quick, and they were right on track with our timeline. Our cabinet s came in about 2 weeks, and they were exactly what we wanted/expected. Noelle was prompt with return phone calls and e-mails with all the of questions we had. Her suggestions for design worked out perfectly and her expertise is apparent. We are very happy with our service through BGK designs and if ever needed will be going back to them again!

Very happy with the cabinets I purchased from them. The cabinets are very well made. You can't buy cabinets anything like these at the big box stores, Especially for the Price!! Very happy! Everyone who has seen the cabinets / kitchen, wants to order them for their kitchen!! I will defiantly use them for all of my projects!!

Terra was extremely helpful and organized throughout this entire process. The layout that she designed for us maximized the space in our kitchen. Terra was very knowledgeable about the types of cabinets and crown molding that were available. Her design was the main reason we decided to go with Budget Kitchen and Bath. She was very professional and promptly responded to emails when we had questions. I am very satisfied with the look and quality of the cabinets and countertops.

Amazing! I love our cabinets! We went to a few of the big box stores, and were not half as happy as we are with Budget Kitchen & Bath. Terra and team dedicated time to our project - even with my multiple changes! The price was exactly where we wanted it and when I first picked up the call to connect with Budget Kitchen & Bath, I was immediately confident and excited to head to the store to discuss our options. I have recommended this company to many many friends!

I was a little leery of a kitchen and bathroom design business with the term "budget" in their name. However, when I received my quote for the cabinets and counter top, the name no longer bothered me. I was looking for well built plywood cabinets and a granite counter top, not the most affordable option. After getting quotes from the big box chain "improvement" stores, budget kitchen and bath quoted me a price that blew the others away. I'm not sure what, if any difference there is between the cabinets, but as far as I can tell these cabinets are just as good if not better quality cabinets than the chain stores "custom" ones. I had also gone to other kitchen design companies for quotes, the other places I went to were okay, but none of them seemed to have the time available to work with me like Noelle did. I can not thank Noelle enough for helping me with this project. She is extremely patient, even with a customer such as myself that can not stop asking questions, including ones that have nothing to do with my kitchen. Overall I had as pleasant of an experience as one could have at a cabinet and counter top place, I would highly recommend them and I will more than likely use them again. For full disclosure, I did not have them install my cabinets, I installed them myself.

It went great. They should rename their business Bargain Kitchen & Bath. Their quote was much more reasonable than the others we received, and the quality of the cabinets and countertops were better in my opinion. They made it easy as they coordinated everything, we would have had to hire separate contractors otherwise. Noelle was very friendly, informative and professional. Jeff and his crew was always prompt, considerate and did fantastic work. My wife and I could not be happier with the results and would use them again. You don't have to sacrifice quality and craftsmanship on a budget with these pros!

We worked with Noelle from Budget Kitchen and Bath for our kitchen renovation. As soon as we arrived at the Budget store/showroom we were greeted right away by Noelle, who was so helpful throughout the entire process of our kitchen design and renovation. After showing her our initial design, she was immediately able to help with different ideas and suggestions that improved the overall design and flow of the kitchen. Our first quote had been with home depot and we knew immediately after speaking with Noelle, looking at Budget's cabinets, and price comparison that we would be using Budget for our renovation. We are so very happy that we did! I want to commend Noelle on her prompt responses to all email correspondences. She was very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. After a few design changes and final adjustments Noelle sent us the design the we decided would work for us. The 3D renderings of the kitchen layout were a huge help in visualizing what the final product would look like. She was terrific. The installation could not have gone smoother. Noelle came out on multiple occasions to make sure everything went smoothly. First for measurement with Dave the owner who is also great. Then on day one of install to make sure things were going to run smoothly and that the installers had everything they need to complete the install. The installers were extremely professional and the quality of work speaks for itself. They cleaned up after they were finished everyday and really took their time to make sure that the job was done right. Upon completion of the job Noelle and Dave both returned to make sure that everything was done right. Also, we set up our countertop installation through Budget as well and were extremely happy with the process, prices, and installation of the quartz countertops. They look great! We would highly recommend Budget Kitchen and Bath to anyone that is looking to update their kitchen. In fact I have already recommended them to a co-worker. The whole experience from design to install was way less stressful than we originally anticipated and Budget Kitchen and Bath were the reason for that. Thanks everyone at Budget for a job well done! Overall, the kitchen and bathroom renovations went smoothly. Terra was extremely professional and helpful through the entire process. She provided knowledgeable guidance and support with all of our questions, concerns, and choices. This is our first, and hopefully only, home renovation. We had an abundance of questions/concerns - Terra timely responsiveness to these questions/concerns via email and telephone was much appreciated. We felt very comfortable working with Terra and would recommend her services and the products at Budget to others who are taking on any type of kitchen or bathroom renovations, big or small!

Terra is wonderful to work with, and when we have gone in to see her in person, Dave the owner has been there, and he is also very easy to work with. Terra designed the island with us based on our needs. In addition to cabinets in the island, we also wanted some "floating" granite at the end for seating, with no cabinets underneath. Terra was helpful with the design process, and we emailed back and forth until it was to our liking. Originally we had legs under the floating granite, but in the end, we decided to do without them to obtain more leg room and more room to move the chairs. The installers who put the island in were also very good, and we are happy with the island. The countertops will be installed next week and we don't anticipate any issues. I want to make special note that we have shaker style cabinets, and another company did our L-shaped area of the kitchen, and the island is something we decided to add. I like the look of the cabinets from Budget better!
