BKG Design - Budget Kitchen & Granite

Taylor at BKG Designs was on top of the project from suggested pattern and color to schedule of the installation date.

It started very well, we worked with Tara, she was very receptive to the changes that we made and was very accessible and flexible.We wanted initially to hire for full remodel, but their quote was too high ,so we decided to limit only to cabinets and install. We hired other companies and it was a smart decision . Then the installation came and unfortunately it was poor planning and what was very disappointing poor execution leaving us with significant gaps between the back of the cabinets toe kick and the cabinets.. nails trough the cabinets and misaligned doors When we alerted about it..we were told to hire someone else to fix that ..I must admit that the quartz company that did do very good job. But in regards with the cabinets installation no supervision and very poor craftsmanship. So we ended up with having to repair what should have been planned and executed well initially.

Great. Noelle Reinheimer is a great kitchen designer and did a great layout for us. Our cabinet install was scheduled and happened on time.

I can't say enough about this company and their professionalism, their communication and their overall hard work to make this project so smooth. We had an entire kitchen renovation and from Day 1, they made the process easy. They were incredibly responsive, they followed up on all of our requests and needs and they were quick to fix or adjust any changes we made...even in the final hours! Noelle was an absolute joy to work with and the installers were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We'd use them again without question.

We are so happy with BKG! Noelle from BKG designed our kitchen to change the layout and add a dishwasher and island that we desperately needed and wanted. We went to her after working with two other companies that weren't able to give us what we wanted in our design. Noelle was quick to answer our questions, provide the renderings, and respond to additional questions as we were ordering appliances to fit. She is the most patient person and great at problem solving! Her industry knowledge helped us to order the right size appliances so we could get everything we wanted in our kitchen, like my farmhouse sink! The install crew was fantastic too. They assembled all of our cabinets on floors that were just refinished the week before without a single scratch!

Noelle did a great job with the design and we were able to have them installed in just a few weeks. Everyone was very responsive and the kitchen looks great. The price was on point as well and the cabinets, granite counters and floor (we did this separate) match perfectly. BKG did a great job of keeping us informed of each step and anticipating our needs. We will be referring them to our friends!

We worked with the BKG Designs location in the North Hills. Noelle was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was on top of everything, very punctual in answering my questions and made me feel at ease with the entire project. BKG was recommended to me and I am so glad we decided to go with them. Our kitchen is small and Noelle was able to not only give us more cabinet space but her design was right on! All of the cabinets fit perfect and you can tell the quality of the workmanship is excellent! We couldn't be happier! I would definitely recommend BKG Designs.

We received EXCELLENT customer service and design assistance from Terra. She was very responsive, answering email inquiries after hours, etc. When our builder abandoned us, she found to apply some discounts. Thankful for her compassion.

We had a fantastic experience with BKG Design (North Hills Location). Our kitchen designer, Noelle, came up with a great design given the small size of our kitchen that was right in line with our expectations. Throughout the entire process she was there to give design tips and help us create the modern look we were envisioning. Given the age of our previous kitchen we needed a fair amount of work done including demo, electrical, plumbing, and some floor work on top of the new cabinets and countertops. What I loved about Noelle and BKG was there was never any pressure or upselling along the way. All of our options were laid out to us from least expensive to most expensive and any part of the project that we wanted to do ourselves or hire an outside contractor for they were happy to accomodate. We ended up choosing BKG for the entire remodel and I am so happy that we did. Noelle did a fantastic job of project management as the entire remodel fell exactly to plan from both a time and cost perspective. Noelle would check in frequently to make sure we were aware of what was next to come, any upcoming decisions we had to make, and clarify items if there was any potential for confusion. In addition to project management, the install itself went very smoothly and that was thanks to the wonderful installers, Bill and Chris. Given that I work from home I was able to witness their work each day and I have nothing but praise for everything that they did. They showed up on time every single day and did not skip a beat from the moment they walked through the door. They were always quick to answer any questions I had and even go so far as to explain how things are done or provide advice as I like to learn a bit myself. Their knowledge of what they were doing was very apparent and impressive and it shows in the final product. If you want a kitchen remodel that is managed properly, stays true to cost estimates, and has a finished product that aligns with your expectations, look no further. Both me and my husband have nothing but good things to say about BKG. We got custom cabinets and quartz throughout the entire house (living room, kitchen, three bathrooms, office, and utility room). Not only was the price significantly cheaper than the other prices we had received, but our overall experience from the beginning was nothing but pleasant. Terra was there to help us anytime we had a question or needed help. It was very obvious that she was willing to do whatever she can to make sure we had a good experience and were very satisfied with their service and product. I am so beyond happy we decided to go with BKG. Highly recommend to anyone looking for similar work!

The entire project went way better than expected. From the initial designs, which changed multiple times, to the final measurements and installation. The designer, Terra, was very responsive, and pointed out what would and would not work which made the process much easier for us. The owner of the company personally did our final measurements and made some minor tweaks to the design that we would have missed. The 3D designs they gave us we're amazingly realistic, and made us comfortable with the layout. Every appointment we had with them from design, to measure, to install, and the process of granite selection, measurements and installation we're exactly on time and professional. Terra even came to our house personally on install day to make sure there was no confusion on the layout. We had a minor issue with adjustment of a couple of doors, and Terra had someone here 2 days later to make the minor adjustment. Couldn't be happier with the way it went. I met them at the Home Show in the spring and knew they were the right fit for us. The cabinets we selected are super high quality, and much more reasonably priced than I expected. There were NO surprises. I would definitely hire them again or refer them to a friend or family member.

Fantastic price (we expected the price to be thousands more), expert installation, workers were kind, professional & did everything we asked. The completed project was an excellent job well done. We would recommend this company to anyone wanting a gorgeous kitchen priced way below todays cost.

Working with Noelle and team was a true pleasure! My wife and I purchased our starter home a couple years ago, and wanted to make an upgrade to the old kitchen. Noelle was a dream to work with on my new kitchen! When I first went to the showroom to get ideas, she asked me a few questions while she designed my new kitchen, and within 20 minutes, she had it all designed perfectly and just the way I liked it. Actually, I LOVE it! I never changed the layout of it after her first design. Noelle is the heart and soul of BKG, and if you talk to her or ask for her advice, you'll quickly realize how knowledgeable she is and how much experience she has. She was so easy to work with every step of the way and made the project so much easier than I ever anticipated. She even showed up to my house when the cabinets were being delivered to make sure everything would go smoothly before they were installed... and it did. She offered her opinions and suggestions which I greatly valued and I truly couldn't imagine doing this big of a project with anyone else. We had a couple different quotes for kitchen and they came in at the best price. Noelle was great to work with, got back to me fast whenever I had a question. She did a great job helping me design our kitchen! The cabinets are great quality and look great. We where out of a kitchen for over a month and when they had a cancellation we where called and got our kitchen earlier then expected which was great for us! I would definitely recommend them for anyone needing a kitchen remodel!

I had bids from 3 kitchen and bath renovators and BKG came in far below the other businesses. I read good reviews about them so I decided to hire them. My design specialist was Terra Brubaker in the South Hills showroom. She was extremely helpful with choosing the cabinets and quartz countertops. She spent quite a bit of time with me through the process by answering questions about installation and appliance purchases. Installation went smoothly however there were a few minor things that needed adjusting after install so Terra made sure everything was perfect and sent the installers back to the house. I would highly recommend using BKG. The price and the product is one of the best in the Pittsburgh area. Thank you BKG! I have before and after pictures of my kitchen in the review.

We are extremely pleased with the remodeling of our kitchen and the work of BKG Designs. We worked with Noelle to purchase new cabinets and counter tops and the process was extremely smooth and professional. They even made recommendations that helped us make the best use of the space and gain some additional storage. Installation happened on schedule and they even worked with us to get the project completed in a compressed time frame. When there was an issue with the original granite we ordered, Noelle quickly worked with the supplier to get us an option that was even nicer without additional cost.
