Bee Control

Everything went very smooth. The technition came, inspected where the nest was, and within an hour or so, the nest was killed. It's been over a year now and I have not seen any activity near the nest.

After unsuccessfully trying to eliminate carpenter bees on my own I made a call to Ian at Bee Control. The response was quick and the results outstanding. Since the Soffit and Fascia on the house were treated I haven't seen a single bee If we ever again have a problem with bees I'll be calling Bee Control.

The owner is very nice. Never hurried on the phone. Prompt in returning phone calls and accommodating with scheduling. The technicians are always professional, punctual, thorough. When you pay for the preventative services, you have free treatment when a bee problem occurs. We have needed that service and they come right out when you call and the problem is always solved.

Expensive but worth it after having a swarm of bees in the past. Very Responsive.

My experience was pretty good. They have been able to get rid of the bees. We did not like that they left some of the powder residue on the porch side walk and some got on our deck chairs. It was easily cleaned, though.

Bee Control provided excellent services. From my very first phone call to the completion of the job and then later in response to questions I had about the chemicals used, the Bee Control staff -- especially Ian -- was caring, friendly, professional and effective. The carpenter bees are gone and there has been no recurrence of the problem. Bee Control is not the least expensive outfit you can deal with in the greater Pittsburgh area. But they may well be the best. For marginal additional cost you will have the peace of mind of dealing with an outstanding and completely trustworthy company. I will use them again for any future problems.

This company is great! We have depended on their services for 3 years now. They send us a reminder every spring to schedule our prevention. One year we had some bees start a nest in our swings et and they came quickly to take care of it for no additional charge. Ian and his team are top notch.

I had yellow jackets inside my house that he treated in September. The yellow jackets didn't disappear after the first treatment so they came back out free of charge and took care of it. I haven't seen another yellow jacket since.

They're professional and prompt. The cost is fairly expensive, but then the work they do is inherently more dangerous than some pest control services so it balances out. Also, coverage continues through the end of the year so if you have any problem with stinging insects on/in your house, or your yard, they'll come back to treat the affected area and there's no additional cost. I have been working with Bee Control for several years and have found the owner to be very professional and always accommodating.

I'm sorry, I now forget the date and the price. But I would never think of using another service for bee control. The owner, Ian, is very friendly, and he arranged an almost immediate visit from his tech people, at a time when they were very pressed with demands. I've used the service twice before as well, and every time, the people who have come to do the work have been professional, friendly, and helpful. I have very seldom had such good experiences with even local businesses.

Yellow Jackets and other varieties of wasps were entering attic along roof line, under the shingles, close to our patio area. A raccoon had actually climbed onto the roof and damaged some shingles while attempting to get to the nests. We had used Ian's services several years earlier and were impressed not only with his university degree (from Scotland) in this science, but in the thorough execution of the process. No method, of course, will keep the critters away for ever, without regular updates. My fault for not updating as recommended. But his technician did apply the proper sprays externally, as well as a fogging bomb in the closed attic crawlspace, and sprayed around our driveway walls were we had seen ground-dwelling wasps. I had recommended Bee Control to a neighbor for similar problems, and Bee Control was able to do both of us the same day for a small discount from the regular rate.
