Bee Control

I am afraid of bees, wasps etc. I discovered a wasps nest inside the outside kitchen exhaust vent. I called the company on Sunday and got a response that same day. I called the next day to arrange for someone to come to my house to exterminate the wasps. An employee from the company came and completed the job. It was simple, quick and worth the money to have peace of mind. Thanks for the quick service.

Once I left a mesg with the company, they were returned my call promptly, and service scheduled for the next day. Were responsive to my request for appt in the afternoon. Arrived on time. Removed the wasp nest from the grill; but did not offer spraying addtl areas until asked - then sprayed the underneath portion of our deck. Although over the phone, was told that they can do preventative spraying for the (townhouse), was told in person it "probably won't help much since we're out in nature." Glad to have the nest gone; would consider re-using, but would definitely look at other options before calling them back first. Have yet to see if the wasps return.

The tech who came out was very professional and answered all my questions. The treatment is good through the year and if there are any issues, Bee Control will come back and take care of them.

He is not your regular exterminator. He handles bees and he is wonderful. He is the best. He is expensive but he is so customer oriented. The owner is Ein and he is a genius. I can all him and tell him I have little flies in the house and he will tell me there is something dead in the walls. He is cool and knows his stuff. If you have any kind of bee issue after they have sprayed they will come back for the rest of the season. He also handles the stink bug problem. He is an expert.

Bee Control responded very promptly to my phone call about some bees taking up residence in my wall. They came out and did a thorough check and exterminated them from both the inside and out. They also took care of a wasp nest along the eaves of my roof as well.They were very quick in their response and the bees have not come back. Very happy. Thanks!

I had a bad run in with yellow jackets -- mistakenly thinking I could handle a nest myself I ended up stung and with horribly angry wasps swarming both my front and side doors. I had woken up at 5:30 on a Saturday to (supposedly) get the wasps while they slept -- hah -- so I placed my call to Bee Control of Pittsburgh at 6:30 a.m. I didn't know if I'd hear back at all, but figured it would be much later. I received a call from Ian at 7:30 a.m. and he apologized for the delay!!! He understood just what my problem was and explained that he and his team would figure out who was going where, and asked me to bear with him until he could give me a better time estimate and to tell me upfront the price. He called back by 10:00 to tell me that Seth would be there between 2:30 and 3:30... and Seth was there at about 3:00. He took care of the hive, took it away, answered all my questions about the yellow jackets and even checkedf another planter (that is where they'd nested) for me. $185 may sound like a lot, but it was emergency, dangerous, and required specialization. I was very impressed with the service-orientation of Ian and his team. I'm still swollen from my stings, but the wasps are gone!

He gave us an estimate over the phone and said he could be there on Saturday. He was a few minutes late, but called to let us know he was on his way. The service was prompt and effective.

I called to inquire based on the positive reviews I found here, Ian seemed very knowledgable and provided details on the services that they provide between the full service including the warranty and the partial area service. He gave me an idea of what to expect in terms of the pricing which at the time seemed pretty high. I scheduled an appointment and Seth came out on the day scheduled and actually called and wanted to come a bit early which was fine with me. Seth was professional and forthcoming as to the scope of work and the benefits of their product. I didn't have a centralized nest per say but just alot of activity on the front of my house. Seth detailed that it was also a preventative treatment whcih would stop the wasps from nesting. He advised me that the pricing would be on their low end based on the size/structure of our house, good news. The reason I went ahead with the service was the warranty and the fact that they would come back out and re-treat any area of our house/property at no cost until 2012. He treated the house and took off the additional 10% Angies List coupon with no issues. So far (10 days later) there have been no sign of wasps so I am pleased with the service albeit expensive. Would definitely recommend.

I had carpenter bees over the garage. I called Ian and he sent a fellow over to spray around the garage and around the whole house. Someone came back several times to inspect and respray. The attic was also sprayed for wasps after I saw some inside. They are extremely proactive and dependable.
