Description of Work: The crew inspected the main sewer line coming from the street. He found roots growing near the opening to the garage door. He checked the rest of the sewer and did not find any problems. Another plumber had told me a year before that that I would need to have the whole sewer line dug up and would charge me $18,000. He was very honest and his price was very reasonable for the work that was done.

Description of Work: A pipe burst in my basement wall and I did not have a valve to shut it off, so I had to shut the water off to the entire house. I needed to find a plumber quickly. Fortunately, I found George on Angie's list and he agreed to fit me in that day. He was prompt and I fixed my pipe and even did a walk through of my basement and explained some of the plumbing to me. I will be calling George again for future work.

Description of Work: Repaired leaking kitchen hot/cold water lines, replaced leaking kitchen faucet, replaced leaking outdoor hose bib line and faucet, troubeshot water heater and floor drain issues. Very professional, very efficient, very honest.

Description of Work: After moving into our new home we discovered some slow drains in the bathrooms. We were contacted by Mr. Bauer on the day of service who arrived at the time stated, introduced himself, wore protective boots to prevent floor damage, and spent at least 2 hours cleaning the drains which were very clogged and placing new sink plumbing. He left the area in immaculate condition. Unfortunately shortly after leaving we developed a small leak under the sink. We called Bauer and within 30 minutes help arrived and the leak was fixed by replacing a faulty pipe at no charge. Once again they were thoughtful, pleasant and left our home in immaculate condition. We are so pleased to have found this company and will certainly call them again.

Description of Work: Used George Bauer to perform about a dozen misc. "punch list" items based on a home inspection report for a recently purhased rental property. Gave me an estimated total cost for all the work which was right on for what I was estimating so I did not get other bids. His crew arrived when he said they would, spent 2 days straight until all work was completed. Work was perfomed correctly, professionally and within the estimated time and cost. Will definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Replaced a flexible gas line with fixed gas pipe. Estimated time was for 3 hours, it took 3 hours. I have used them in the past and found them to be great. I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Two employees installed a new kitchen sink faucet and tightened a leaky hot water handle in a bathroom. They arrived on time. They left no mess behind. They were professional. I felt the job could have been done with one person, but then I am not a plumber and might be missing something.

Description of Work: They have done several projects for me. They are very professional and knowledgeable. They are one of the few plumbers to ever pass my basic metallurgy test. (Yes, I am a metallurgical engineer and it is very important for a plumber to know fundamental information about metals.) The largest was re-plumbing the drainage from a second floor bathroom when a corrosion related leak caused water to start draining into my entrance foyer. Several additional small leaks became apparent upon further inspection. Another smaller project was done at the same time. They came promptly, cleaned up afterwards, and provided advice on other projects. This included pointing out what we could do ourselves to save money.
