liff was wonderful-I called him at 10 am and he came at 11 am- He was so nice and quickly took care of the problem and gave me many helpful hints about plumbing. His price was very fair and I will use him again. I had a horrible experience with gillece plumbing a couple years ago-- I dont know how they stay in business-it was nice to have an honest person to do business with- I highly recommend cliff.

Cliff from Anytime Sewer & Drain lived up to all of the reviews given. Showed up same day, on time and open two clogged basement drains. Cliff was very professional and he charged in the price range quoted and guarantee the work done. I would not hesitate using Cliff at Anytime Sewer & Drain again.

The house had a sewer smell throughout and we weren't sure where it was coming from. We called Anytime Sewer and Drain, and within hours they called back and scheduled to come out the next day. Cliff arrived on time and immediately noticed the smell upon arrival. He did a thorough investigation of all possible causes and identified the issues. A section of the line had backed up into the house, causing the smell to permeate throughout. Cliff snaked the back up and removed roots from the line. Using his camera, he was able to show me what part of the line was PVC and where it switched to terra cotta. He showed me where roots were starting to make their way into the line. He quoted me on replacement for the terra cotta pipe and gave me a 6 month guarantee on the work he provided during his visit. During his visit, Cliff also pointed out some other potential issues, unrelated to the sewer issue. He seemed very knowledgable and trustworthy. At no time did I feel like he was trying to sell me additional work. I got the impression he was looking out for his customer's best interests. I would certainly use Anytime Sewer and Drain again and would recommend them to friends and relatives.

I really cannot say enough amazing things about Cliff/Anytime Sewer & Drain (Professional, hard-working, kind, trustworthy, etc). The BEST experience I've had since owning my home. I first had work done and left a raving review about 2 months ago after I had a leak in my house. After that, Cliff came to the rescue multiple times for other leaks and issues. One time was an emergency and he was there right away. For all other appointments he was also very accommodating and always arrived right on time. I finally realized that I really needed to replace my low-grade copper piping in order to get my house back together and have peace of mind. I had Cliff come over and take a look at the piping throughout the house and give me an estimate on re-piping with PEX. He took the time to walk me through all of my options. Never once did I feel like he was trying to sell me anything. He really put himself in my situation and gave me honest advice. He walked me through the entire process of re-piping my townhome and I had him start the project soon after. In about 3 days total, Cliff re-piped my entire home while I was at work. I definitely trusted him to work at my house when I wasn't there and it made the process so much easier not having to try to run home during work as I had with other companies for other projects in the past. Every night that I came home, I could barely tell that he had been there. He is so meticulous and careful; I literally had NO mess to clean up at any point in time during the process (I think he actually left my house in better shape than it was when he got there!). I was nervous about the damage to my house that re-piping would cause, but he completed the entire job by making very small holes in the walls/ceiling and only when completely necessary. I had just re-done a bathroom and was bummed that we would probably have to cut a hole in the wall, but Cliff found a way to access the pipes from my pantry instead. He had to move a decent amount of stuff around for the job including in my pantry and bathroom cabinets and some furniture, which I would have been happy to move and put away myself, but he put everything back even neater than what it had been before. I'm very used to seeing people cut corners, but you can tell Cliff truly takes pride in his work and does not take any shortcuts. Any issues that came up during the process he took the time to explain to me and dedicated extra time to making sure everything was completed to the highest standard possible. He pays attention to every detail and even noticed small things around my house unrelated to the project that I would never have noticed myself, and gave me advice on how to fix them. I'm honestly amazed at how much Cliff values and cares about his customers; it's very refreshing to know that there are still people like this out there. I will definitely be recommending him to everyone that I know.

Very impressed with work completed! We bought a house and have been dealing with a backed up shower, gurgling drains, and pressure problems. On time, reasonable priced, looked over all our concerns and fixed the problem with ease!

I called on a Sunday afternoon because of a flooded basement, and he came out within an hour. He diagnosed the problem, located the problem drain, and unclogged the drain very quickly. He was very knowledgeable, prompt, professional, and reasonably priced.

He had trouble with getting his machine calibrated and the service was delayed but once the calibration was complete, his service was well delivered, punctual and satisfactory. Very nice guy. Communication could have been better but in the end it all worked out.

I would recommend Anytime Sewer & Drain / Cliff to anyone and will definitely be calling him again if I have any issues in the future. He is very professional, polite, thorough and extremely reasonable. He is also very honest and takes the time to explain everything to you. Cliff also is VERY neat and didn't leave a trace of mess behind, even though it was a very messy job. I'm so thankful that he was able to fix my issue so quickly and that I now know of a great plumber to call if/when I have other problems. I woke up to find my dining room table covered in water, which was dripping from my light fixture. I figured it was an issue with my shower, shut off the water and started looking into local plumbers. Most of the people I called were on vacation, and one company would not be able to come out for another 5 days. I found Anytime Sewer & Drain on Angie's List and called around 1:30 on a Wednesday. Cliff was at my house by 2:30. He cut a small hole in my spare bedroom to gain access to the bathroom/shower pipes above where the ceiling was leaking. We originally thought the shower was the issue, but everything appeared to be okay there. After checking a few more things he found that the issue was a broken flang and that water had been slowly leaking for a long time. He moved the toilet and prepped it to repair the next day. He then removed my light fixture for me to minimize the damage. He was at my house for about an hour and a half and explained to me in detail the issue and what he would need to do to fix it. This is my first house so I don't know much, but Cliff was very patient and walked me through everything. He said he would not know the extent of the repair to the water line/pipe until he opened up the ceiling, but gave me a price range dependent on the scenario (I believe the range was $340-460). He was very thorough and patient; he didn't rush at all. We scheduled an appointment for the next day at 12:30. Cliff called at 12:15 to let me know he was on his way and arrived right at 12:30. He worked diligently for 3 hours while I stayed downstairs with my dog. He called me up a few times to show me what he was doing and the extent of the damage. He ended up cutting a moderately sized space in my dining room ceiling and a small hole in my living room to gain access to the pipe connected to the toilet flang. He brought a tarp, took off his shoes and was extremely neat. He ended up cutting a 3" water line and removing the broken toilet flang, then repiped a 3" drain line and installed a new flang. He also noticed the water valve for the toilet needed replaced and did that for me, as well as installed new bolts and a wax ring. Once he was done, Cliff cleaned everything up, vacuumed and put my furniture back to where it was. He then wrote up an invoice and the price was exactly what he said it would be, and actually was at the low end of the range he had originally given me. While at my house Cliff also noticed a few things that needed to be fixed and showed me how I could do it myself! I only have good things to say about him!

My sewer clogged on Saturday evening. He came out at 8 a.m. Sunday morning, but by that point, the clog had naturally pushed its way through. He inspected the sewer visually - and had us flush the toilet 12 times - and was very pleased with the state of the sewer. He recommend I not have him snake it. (Which would be $150-180, per his conversation with me Saturday night), and just charged me $50 for the service call. He was prompt, polite, professional, and I found the charges to be totally reasonable.

Clogged drain in bathroom. Cliff came out the same morning I called. Very polite, worked quietly as I told him I teach online. Work done quickly and efficiently. I would like to use him for some larger jobs I have planned for this summer.

I called Anytime Sewer and Drain on a Thursday afternoon and got a call back from the owner, Cliff within an hour. I explained my problem of what I believed to be a backed up sewer line, which was causing my toilet to barely flush. Cliff told me that he could come to my house by 8 am the next morning. The next morning, Cliff showed up on time, as previously agreed. He was friendly , and courteous and listened to my story about what I believed to be the problem. I thought I would be facing a rather large bill if my sewer line was going to need snaked but Cliff assessed the situation and found out that not only did I have a deposit of calcium blocking an outflow to my toilet but a small piece of plastic was also causing the clog. I did not need my line snaked since the problem was within the toilet bowel itself. He really knew what he was doing, was quick to diagnose and fix the problem and I was pleased with the pricing of the service which I felt to be well within reason. I plan to call upon Anytime Sewer and Drain for any future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend their services to anybody seeking quality, professional plumbing work.

He is great. His prices are very reasonable. He is always punctual. He cleans up after he's done. He is also very professional.

I'd used Cliff before in May of 2010. The utilities in my home had been turned off for a while, and when I turned the water on everything leaked. He was able to get into the basement and repair all of the damage, replace pipes and label everything. The work was amazing, and it cost me less than $150 for everything. About a year later, the shower in my first floor bathroom started leaking. I called Cliff, since he'd done so well the previous time. He arrived on time, but I had to leave before he arrived - I left a blank check with my father. Instead of just replacing the entire faucet (about $100 - or I could've done it myself for less than $50), he replaced one small part that retailed for $200. After labor, I ended up paying $375 for fixing something that would have been more cost effective to just replace. When I returned home and my father told me what he'd written the check for, I was in shock. I called Cliff, and he explained exactly what he'd done and why the bill was so high in a professional manner. I argued that the entire piece could have been replaced for a third of what he charged me. All that said, the work was done well, and the shower never leaked again. He cleaned up after himself. Still, I was irritated with the cost. Had I been there when he quoted the price, I would have told him "No, thank you." Because of this, I probably won't call him again.

We were first appointment of the day and Cliff was one-half hour early. The pile of sticks held together by birds' nests and baling twine that we affectionately call our "Victorian Project" (meaning a big hole in Western PA where we dump 55 gallon drums full of money regularly), did not phase Cliff. The scope of the immediate emergency was that nothing was going down the drains, nothing worked, everything gurgled. The diagnosis was unexpected--a drain cleaning was not necessary as the plumbing fixtures installed by the previous handy-man owner were not vented (at all) and though there was no clog, per se, the plumbing "system" was suffering from lack of sufficient air to allow for the appropriate hydraulic action. I should have known that and not wasted Cliff's time although he did make the best of it by finishing a repair on a burst hot water line that I had been working on with the normal trepidation a non-plumber has. He was done in a very few minutes, did not make me feel embarrassed about my Victorian Project and to my delight offered to work on the Pex plumbing project that I was going to attempt but would rather now that he do it than to have to call him to repair it. Affable, kind and generous man. If you are looking for the kind of mechanic that intimately knows his craft and won't send out 18 year old children who don't like to get their white uniforms dirty unless they can make $4,500 on a water heater replacement, this is your guy. He answers his phone (the number on the Angie's list listing). He shows up himself (at least he did on my service call) and his advice in NOT snaking my drains was far more valuable than someone who would rattle the pipes and charge hundreds more when nothing more than a little air was needed (he opened two caps that provided sufficient air, to be replaced soon enough anyway).

I called the provider on a Sunday morning due to a clogged main sewer line. After I made two calls (7:30 AM and 9:30 AM) and left two messages, I received a call back from the provider and set an appointment time for that day (11:30 AM). After the appointment time had passed, I received a call from the provider saying that he could not drive on his street due to the snow we had received (about 1 inch of snow had fallen at that time, and snow continued to fall). We set an appointment time for Monday morning as an alternative. The provider also promised to call me later if the snow let up and conditions improved on Sunday. The snow stopped completeley by early afternoon and there was no additional snow the remainder of the day. Roads where I live (about 10 minutes' drive from the provider) were wet and slushy, but not treacherous. I received no call back on Sunday afternoon. I then decided to call another plumber, who was able to come out within a couple of hours (the same day, Sunday) and successfully clear the drain. The other provider came a much longer distance to provide the service (about 20 miles). I called and left the provider a message at approximately 9:30 PM, indicating that I no longer required his services on Monday.

I had them three times. The owner of the company was here and a good man. He was very cordial. He knew what he was doing. He did the job very well. I had a tough time with the price. For the last two or three years, I did all the work myself. There was nothing unusual, but I felt I paid the high price.

WOW, he worked around my schedule in a totally backed up sewer line, didn't mind my Dog watching his work (even thew her ball a few times for her), and given that I'm a DIY guy, he pointed out that I am getting back drafting on my hot water tank and how to fix it on my own. I'd send this person to my Mom's or best friends. He was here for roughly 3+ hours, and educated me along the way on what the problem was, not only fixed it, but also tole me how to make sure he doesn't have to come back. Who does that? Great guy.

This is the second time Cliff has come to my rescue. He is very busy but we were able to work out time in the schedual for him to see why my built in shower was only providing hot water and not cold. He detected the problem and had to order the part. Then he found out that it was not only that part that was faulty but one other. He ran and got that and fixed a shower that was really unsusable until that point. The first time he came out was last year to fix a sewer drain. I had had someone else out to look at it previous to him and he was not very proffessional. He gave me a very wide ranging esemate and told me I might have to dig up the basement floor. However when I called Cliff for a second opinion he was able to tell me right away what had to be done. He was there for quite some time flushing a system that had been unused for at least a year. Cliff is very courtious and has a great knowledge of what he is doing. He is also a nice guy. I would definately trust him with any plumbing problem I have in my querky old house and I am glad there are people with his understanding.

Can you say "life saver"? We called Cliff a little before noon today (Saturday). He was here in 20 min. Very professional and knowledgeable! He had to go get a replacement part for the "stuck" valve. All fixed in under 3 hours from the call. We happened to have 3 guests this weekend, so it would have been really ugly to not have a working bathroom for the weekend. He gets our highest recommendation for service!

After discovering that the sewer drained backed up into my basement on a Sunday evening, I called Cliff at Anytime. After determining that I didn't need him to come over immediately as the drain was no longer overflowing, he got the details and gave me instructions on what I should do to avoid further problems until he could get there in the morning. He arrived promptly the next morning and quickly diagnosed the problem. After clearing the drain and pipes, he gave me advice to avoid further issues. The whole process was so quick that I made it to work on time afterwards. I'd definitely recommend Anytime.

We would call Anytime Sewer and Drain again in a heart beat. I called them after our basement drain was backed up and water was in our basement, thy told us that they would come over as soon as they could-they arrived in less than an hour. They spend the next hour cleaning out our drains and found several clogs that they fixed. They were very professional and the cost was very reasonable. They cleaned up everything before they left. We were very happy with the service they provided.

This is my second time in two weeks calling on Anytime to come out and provide help with a plumbing issue. The first time was for a drain issue, for which we gave Anytime rave reviews. Well, they did it again. We called Cliff to provide an estimate on the replacement of shower fixtures in 2 bathrooms. Cliff got back to us in a timely manner and was out withing 2 days to take a look at the project. He provided honest advice on a much easier, less expensive fix that did not even involve hiring him or his team. We are sincerely appreciative of his honesty and advice. Although we hope not to need a plumber again anytime soon, we will not hesitate to call Anytime first if we do. Great work and thank you!!
