American Mold Remediation is committed to providing first-rate service and quality work for mold removal services in the greater Pittsburgh Area. The American Mold Remediation crew is clean, courteous, efficient, and extremely skilled. We have performed our services in hospitals, nursing homes, commercial, industrial, and residential but we also tackle small assignments too. We are one of the only mold remediation companies in Pittsburgh that does not perform their Mold Testing as it is unethical for any mitigator to do so and a major conflict of interest American Mold Remediation is a certified mold contracting company who follows the protocol of the IICRC-S520 standards. Our standards are much higher than other mitigation companies. We have worked diligently with over 20 different inspectors on different assignments in our years in business to pass clearance tests. We strongly disagree with many other Remediation Contractors in this area because the majority of them offer you discounted rates on their mold testing but this is a conflict of interest and unethical. We strive to be the most ethical company out in the business. We are trying to help educate our customers in the importance of clean air. A remediation contractor should never do testing period as it is very easy to manipulate results. We do every job with the consideration of your health. This is our primary goal to be in business. We have cleaned up after countless mold remediation companies in Pittsburgh who say the mold is gone when in fact it isn't. We have seen people invest their life savings into houses and two months later develop health effects from sick building syndrome. We have the expertise and the know how to solve difficult cases. Description of Work: Removed mold from attic and opened insulation blocking soffit vents. The problem was lack of ventilation. Brandon and his team were courteous, knowledgeable, and very professional. I definitely recommend him.

American Mold and Brandon, the owner, was extremely responsive and professional. They removed all drywall in the basement and garage. They cleaned all the basement rafters, eliminated the black mold, and sprayed mold resistant seal on all surfaces. American Mold also ran air scrubbers and treated the attic to eliminate any problems. House tested clean after their work.e
Description of Work: We were purchasing a house in Pittsburgh that had been a foreclosure and remodeled. Unfortunately the house inspection revealed a severe mold problem in the basement and garage. American Mold was recommended by our realtor and individual that completed the air quality testing. American mold was hired to eliminate the mold problem and completed the work within 5 days of being hired.
