The project went very well. Zach came with 3 workers, and they finished the job in 1 day. The workmanship and quality of the finished attic is very good.

Zach replied to an Angie's list email quickly by phone (I think it was within a day). He asked informed questions and within a few days came to the house to view the work needed. Within a day or so he provided a written proposal and answered three emails of questions that I had politely and patiently (this was not an urgent repair need). In addition, he explained that his proposal of $2080 covered damage they expected to uncover after removing tiles, gutter, soffit and facia, and labor and supplies to replace soffit and facia that is often damaged in the process of removal. He explained that the cost might be lower if none of this happens. Indeed, that is what happened. One of his two teams showed up on the day planned -- a half hour later than anticipated but Zach called me to explain why they were running late which I understood. They completed the job in 1-2 days. In the end, the job cost $1,268, and when my husband and I reviewed the work, the area was nicely repaired and clean. His final bill arrived quickly and itemized into labor hours and supplies. We were very impressed and are following up with him for future work.

His workers did a excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. Zach returned all my phone calls very promptly I didn't have to chase him down on the phone. I will use Zach again in the future, he is very honest and upfront which is very hard to find in this business. Give Zach a call you will be very happy you did!

We were very pleased with the overall experience and the completed job. The old roof was 26 years old and was leaking in one spot that we knew about. The response to our initial call was quick and we were quickly given a reasonable quote to replace the roof. The quote was clear and all of our questions were answered fully. The work started on time and was done within the estimated time frame. Once the crew started on the roof, we found that the wood needed to be replaced on the entire surface which added to the cost and time involved but the additional work was handled well. The crew was polite, professional, and worked some very long days to get the job done to our satisfaction. We would definitely use this contractor again for other work at hour house!

The crew at Always Perfect did an excellent job. The plan and execution of the work was very well thought out. Pleasure to work with them. Very considerate of my home and the result we wanted to achieve. As with the roofing job that they did for me the previous year, obstacles were overcome and handled within the quote provided. This is a small company with hardworking people. Price provided strong value for the quality and timeliness of the work. I think you would be quite happy with them too.

When our wooden attic ladder fell out of the ceiling during the coldest days of February, we couldn't get some contractors to come out and give us an estimate to fix it. We had 2 no-shows and many who did not return our calls. So we lived for a couple weeks with our attic door propped up with a 2 by4 and a ladder. HOWEVER, when we searched Angie's list and identified Always Perfect Contracting, Zach came out right away, gave us some advice about what to do and scheduled a date to deliver the work. Zach did everything he promised on time and within budget. So we asked him to do a second job of installing molding around a new skylight. We had asked several previous contractors to look at the skylight. They had no satisfactory solutions about how to tackle the tricky trim work because it was not even on all sides.. Zach immediately knew what to do, and made the finished trim appear as if it's even on all sides. He did an amazing great job on the molding, and I am extremely happy with the result..

The work that Zach and Always Perfect Contracting did for us filled us with hope! Being first time homeowners we despaired of ever finding the quality people we needed to do work on our beautiful Victorian Lady. We had several companies come out and look at our front porch, which was sagging a bit, and had useless, waterfall creating, box gutters. We chose Zach because the repairs he suggested sounded like the best long-term solution. Some of the other contractors' suggestions were simple and quick-fixes (easy for them to do), but would not have given us the results we wanted. Zach is a busy man, so it took him awhile to get to us, but he kept in good communication with us via email and answered all our questions. Once the work commenced, it went quickly, and we are exceptionally pleased with the results. Zach matched the look of the rest of our house with new hanging gutters and new porch roof and shingles. It's beautiful! He also took the time to talk with us about some downspout issues we were having and put new downspouts on in such a way that future drain repairs will be easier. The cost for the work seemed very reasonable considering how much was replaced, and his original estimate was accurate. We intend to have him do further work on our roof and gutters.

Zach's crew was excellent, very professional, worked long hours to get this big job done. We have an old, 3 story house with box gutters that were rotting when we arrived her 16 years ago. They were covered and "fixed" when we first moved in but were now leaking in multiple places. Always Perfect removed them from the 2nd and 3rd floor and replaced them with hanging gutters. I asked Zach about how to keep them clean and we decided to put the Gutter Fillers in - to keep debris out. We also needed to fix the porch roof as it was dripping onto our front steps. Zach initially quoted a price for rebuilding the whole roof but it ended up not being necessary so the whole job came in under the estimated cost! (How often does THAT happen?!) What I liked about the crew was that they were quiet, worked hard, didn't yell or blast a radio and cleaned up everything very well. The back of the house was difficult to reach because of our back porch tin room so Zach ordered special equipment to build scaffolding in order to reach it. It took an extra week for the equipment to arrive but this didn't matter and the job was still completed in a very timely manner. Everything went really well and Zach was easy to reach by phone or email. I highly recommend him and his firm.

Zach responded on the date promised and scheduled an appointment within a few days. He called ahead to let me know when he would be arriving. He performed the work requested (cleaning gutters, checking the roof and vents) and answered all my questions concerning issues with my gutters and downspouts. He was very professional and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to my family, friends and neighbors.

Hands down, Always Perfect Contracting is the best contractor in the Pittsburgh area. I no longer have to look elsewhere for a great combination of price and quality in any future house projects we will pursue. Here's why: Our association started with hiring Zack and his crew, about 5 years ago, to replace a small exterior leak that was bringing water into our dining room ceiling. His price was below other estimates and he seemed eager to work on the project. He came over and performed the repair in a couple of hours; on time, professional and pleasant.We found Zack when we decided to join Angie's List because of multiple bad experiences with contractors over the prior five years of home ownership. A couple of years after this first experience, we started planning a major project to wrap the entire existing wood areas on our brick house. We got several bids, including Zack's, to see what price tag would be associated with this size of a project. Zack provided us with a very reasonable bid, far less expensive than the other bids we received from the usual large contracting companies located in the Pittsburgh area. It took us about three years to acquire the money necessary to implement our plan and I would email Zack, once a year ,to let him know we still planned to get this project done ,with him as the contractor. Zack replied every time during that period and when we moved forward with the project, his new estimate was reasonably higher than the original one from years past. What did we get? The project was planned for 2 weeks. After discussing the ground rules for the project, the crew would come on time every day, worked diligently on our house and conducted themselves in a professional and courteous manner throughout the entire stay. Communication was very good and when problem arose or we had questions they were brought to our attention or the attention of the crew chief. Long story short, the project ended up taking 3 weeks due to the need to replace more of the existing wood than was originally expected. We never felt that our project was compromised or rushed due this unforeseen set of circumstances, which often occurs when tackling larger projects. Always Perfect Contracting's attention to detail was , and is, second to none. Working with Zack and his crew was a wonderful contorting experience. Honestly, we will always call them when we schedule a new house project. Our house looks beautiful due to their workmanship and pride in what they do. Our neighbors commentated on how meticulous the crew was throughout the project and how great the house looks because of their attention to detail. Thanks again Zack !!

This is the second or third time we have engaged this contractor for home repairs and we can highly recommend him

Zach was incredibly responsive and efficient. He was a pleasure to work with, and got the job done on the day he came to examine the roof for an estimate. He also took before and after photos as requested.

Zach was quick to respond and came within days to give an estimate. There was a slight mix-up on the day we had agreed that he would do the work, but he was very quick to apologize and reschedule at my convenience. When he came, he did the work quickly and left no clean-up. So far, the work is holding up well. Downspout looks great - blends with rest of house.

Good experience. Zach was responsive and easy to deal with. I can't really comment on the quality because I don't go up on the roof but I suspect he did a fine job. (If I discover otherwise I will comment here.)

Everything went well. Work was delayed because of a wet July, but things got underway during a couple of dry days. Crew showed up on time, worked throughout the day and did a fabulous cleanup when done. Zach came back the next day to haul away all debris.

Still need a new roof but at least it is not leaking every time it rains.

While I thought Zach was a good contractor, I have decided to not do any of the Angie's List Specials in the future. This is the second time that I paid upfront for a service that could not be done. (With Zach, my roof problem was beyond his scope and while, I appreciated his advice, in the future I would have a contractor who would come and assess the problem with a free bid. Also, one other time, I bought an Angie's special for a replacement of an outdoor faucet only to discover that when the worker came, he could not install the faucet because of some complication with my particular faucet...So, you are paying upfront for services that don't get done.

Zach kept me abreast of when he could start the work. As promised, the work started and the workers never stopped. They tore off the old roof(s) in one day. The next day a third worker arrived and the debris disappeared. The siding was replaced and the liner installed. On the third day the top was in place, and most of the tools were removed. Zach showed up at 7pm, took the remainder of the supplies and finalized the paperwork. This job went so smoothly I can scarcely believe they were here at all--but the roof looks GREAT and the leak is gone. Always Perfect Contracting has earned its stellar rating. I too am a believer! I would recommend this company to everyone (and I already have two people waiting for a card!)

Talked about options on the roof over the patio because it is so flat it needs special shingles. Was told if there is water damage on the patio roof he could fix it. I received a quote from provider that is not very detailed and I believe is high. My bottom line opinion is that I just payed $99.00 for an estimate on my roof which most contractors do for free!!

Purchased at Angie List deal for roof maintenance. Had a problem where water was getting in on the roof. Zack inspected the roof and corrected the problem. Would use again if I need any other home maintenance done in the future.

I'd give them a very good review because he did a good job. He was good. He was on time. His job was good. He's very professional. Everything went really well. I would hire them again. I didn't do a lot of comparison but it seemed reasonable to me for the amount of time he spent on it.

He did a great job. He has come back to do other work since then.
