Perfect! I purchased the $34. coupon and pleaded that someone service my lock in 2 days since I was scheduled to fly out of Pittsburgh. I immediately received an appointment email for the next day. I received a call 30 minutes prior to the house call that he was on his way. Warren used his creative, professional talents to fix my lock and the process took about 44 minutes! Thanks! Cost Breakdown: Total: 139.00, coupon $34. for $79.(service call), $60.00 parts, so my out of pocket costs were $94.00.

Provider was late but called early to make a new time. Locks were done in about half an hour and he was extremely nice to work with.

Found that they were very prompted in answering calls and confirming appointments. They were very friendly. They took the time to assess the work and explained the work they were going to perform. They suggested options and were willing to answer questions. They did quality work.

The service was great. I had misplaced the key to an OLD security screen door. Thank GOD. He was in and out. I had painters in so we were out of their way in no time.

He came out right away for the service. The lock on my front door had stopped working. He either replaced the lock or rebuilt it and made me a new key. The service overall was fine.

Warren was really great. He running behind and called to let me know. I am having them come out to put another lock on another door on my sun porch. He even took pictures of it and even called me last night to let me know they would be able to replace the lock. Their prices were very reasonable.

I purchased the special before I booked the service. When I went to book the service I was not able to make an appointment that day. It was my only day off for a week and I had to have it done that day. They were very nice and helpful even though I did not use their serice.

Warren was superb. Very, very professional and knowledgeable. This was work in a commercial, retail store. We have a multi-room antique mall and wished to be able to lock all the doors, but landlord had no keys. Worked very well with me to determine where and how doors should be keyed, doublechecked the entire way to make sure everything would work the way we wanted it to as far as customer flow and access. He did quality work in a reasonable amount of time and even switched doorknobs and used pre-owned parts we had on site to save our startup business some money. We also got an excellent pair of quotes for a camera surveillance system that we would install in a heartbeat if we had the capital to do it. Everything was exceptional and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I found Action Locksmith through a Big Deal on Angie's List. I called them before I purchased the deal to see if they could provide service within a few days. I spoke with Warren on a Monday afternoon and he said they could come out the next morning. I asked if I could still purchase the big deal and he said that would be fine. Since there were three Big Deal options, he even gave me advice on which one to purchase - and it wasn't the most expensive one either! It was a $34 deal for $79 worth of service including the service call itself. Warren, the locksmith, was absolutely wonderful from the moment he came to the door. He was very professional in explaining all the details of my lock problem and also was kind to my overly protective and very barky terrier. He came in, examined the lock after I explained the problem, took it apart and showed me the damaged piece(s). He went back out to his truck where he was able to get potential replacement parts, came back in and found the ones that fit my lock, installed them, and then check it out with both sets of keys I use in this lock. It's works very smoothly now. The whole job probably took only 25 or 30 minutes and I paid $20 for the two parts and the Big Deal I had purchased covered the rest. This was a terrific bargain and I found a locksmith that I would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends.

They were very responsive. They made an appointment quickly and arrived on time. They even called to verify my address as I told the locksmith that I was new to the area. Once here he assessed the condition of the doors and the locks and explained to me what needed to be done. The job was fairly extensive as it was necessary to drill new holes for the different size deadbolts. However, he made the most of the existing locks when possible and was very good about reviewing the work and the functioning at the end. The locksmith was pleasant, polite and professional. Overall, a very positive experience.

We had bought a replacement lock for the front door but the locksmith said we had the best lock in the market and all that needed replacing was the locking mechanism. He also showed us how our lock had been jimmied with a plastic pin inserted in it to make us "think" that the lock is working. This is the perfect setup for a robbery. Now our nice old lock has a brand new locking mechanism and new set of keys (which we can easily obtain copies of by calling into ACTION locksmith with a serial number). The tension mechanism of the sliding deck-door was broken - that was replaced and is working perfectly again. I am very thankful for the knowledgeable tech sent by ACTION locksmith and the terrific service performed. We were also a little flaky keeping an appointment with them and rescheduled twice - they happily accommodated without getting annoyed. I appreciated their flexibility and professionalism as well. I wanted the lock on my backdoor fixed because the key had broken off in it, but being an old door that's not made anymore, the entire lock had to be replaced, or I'd have to get a new door. He reommended I keep the door, because, not only would it be less expensive than getting a new one, it was a better door than any made today. So he went out, found a lock that was the colsest fit he could find, spent a lot time drilling the door (it's metal), and installed the new lock, which I'm very pleased with. Very professional, prompt, and took the time to explain everything to me. I'll definitely use him again.

This is what service should be! Timely response to my initial request , less than one day after I signed up thru an Angie's List Big Deal , with service the next day and job completed with utmost professionalism. Warren Windgassen was terrific to work with and price was extremely reasonable. Would recommend this family-owned business to anyone requiring locksmith services!

I have an antique dresser. Two of the drawers were kept locked, as they contained valuables. I misplaced the key. I called Action Locksmith and described the circumstances. He came to my home as promised. He could not pick the lock or even illustrated that he had tools to do so. He made an impression and said that he would "make a key". When he came back, it was with a stock skeleton key which, with much difficulty worked, but was very challenging to use, It snagged several times with each opening. The service tech said to use WD40 on it daily for a week. Of course, the solution never improved the mechanism. I was charged $60 for the key plus the service call.

My wife and I needed out exterior locks changed in a hurry. We called Action Locksmith and spoke with Warren. He arrived soon after and changed out all of our exterior locks. He also replaced the plates and even tightened the hinges on our front door so it no longer rubs against the frame when you close it. Warren was extremely prompt, courteous, and trustworthy. My wife and I could clearly tell that he genuinely cares about his craft and takes pride in his work. My wife and I cannot be happier with the work and we were very pleasantly surprised at the price. For an emergency call we expected a far higher price tag. Highly recommended

Placed a call to Action Locksmith on a Friday evening. Received a call back within 15 minutes and set an appointment for Saturday. The service was quick and efficient. I have used several locksmiths over several years and Action Locksmith is the best in my experience.

They did an excellent job. They performed professionally. I would call them again if I needed a locksmith.

I called Action on Wednesday and left a message, they returned the call in less than 10 minutes and set up an appointment for Thursday between 10-10:30 am. The locksmith called prior to 10:00 am and arrived before 10:30 am as promissed. He explained in detail what he was doing and how long it would take, he was curteous, helpful and professional. He had to go back to the shop and pick up the correct lockset, he told me exactly how long it would take for him to return and finish. I would highly recomment Action locksmith to anyone I know.

Making the appointment was very easy. I called and was able to make an appointment for the same afternoon. The locksmith showed up on time, which was within a 1 hour time frame the company gave me. The responder called me to tell me he was on his way over to the house, so I knew when to expect him. The locksmith replaced 3 sets of doorknobs with doorknobs that cannot be unscrewed if someone breaks through the door window. He also replaced an old deadbolt with a more up-to-date one that cannot be sawed through and added a deadbolt to our back door that hadn't had one previously. He explained exactly how to use the locks and the benefit of the type that he installed. He also fixed the doors to make them close more tightly when the door is locked. He worked efficiently and was polite. The only thing that he could have improved on is cleaning up the old pieces from the doorknobs that he disassembled.

Excellent experience. We called for service on Sunday and they came out the same day with no extra charge for coming on a weekend.

I received 3 other estimates for the job. Action Locksmith's price was good, but they offered a $100 discount for cash (for the work it ended up being 20%). Also, they were the only company willing to work with the existing man-door in the garage. On of the other company's didn't do carpentry and the other wanted to replace the door entirely ($800). Action was able to get the job done with less work and expense. We are very happy with our new locks and system.

Overall it went very well. The Action Locksmith representative was very professional, arriving right on time. He knew his trade, working quickly and efficiently in changing the cylinders on 4 door locks on both the house and the garage, as well as providing sets of keys. All locks are working fine with no problems. I wasn't able to get an exact estimate in advance as the pricing depended on the exact types and ages of the locks involved. However, once he got onsite and inspected the locks and doors, Action Locksmith did the most economical thing, which was to just change the lock cylinders, instead of replacing the entire locksets.

I recently had someone staying in my house whom I can no longer trust. Fortunately she left on 04/30/08 and I have not seen her since. She did have a set of my keys although she returned them when she left. I realized that she could have copied them and it is a good idea to have the locks changed since I would be going out of town in June. I had had the Baldwin Brass hardware sitting in my house waiting until I could get the exterior doors painted, etc. but decided to have everything installed now. I picked Action Locksmith out of the yellow pages. They serve my area, advertised the skills I needed, and have been in business for a long time. I called them on May 6. Warren and Noreen arrived at my house at 4:55 in the afternoon. It took the two of them working together 4 hours to do everything. Warren removed the knob on my back door, something I had not been able to figure out how to do. He said he was familiar with everything that had been made in the last 100 years. He had to drill through the wood in my kitchen door particularly before the new knobs would fit. Warren had all of the tools he needed and worked steadily. He also had a good supply of extra screws and other little bits of hardware that did not come with my locks and knobs, as well as a cylinder for the basement lock and all of the key blanks. I told Warren and Noreen why I was having this done and they were very sympathetic.
