Technician #19 came and remove lock and adjusted the plate and the pins inside the lock and now fingers crossed the lock is performing as it should.

Ace Lock was very responsive to my request. They scheduled a time that worked well for my schedule and had an experienced, courteous professional at my door right on time. He worked quickly but clearly held himself to a high standard - stopping to make additional adjustments after everything was working. The bill was fair and clear. This is a terrific company.

They came that same day (on a weekend) and were up front enough to tell me that if I could wait until Monday I could save some money. Once I told them it couldn't wait, someone was at my house in under an hour. He fixed the problem quickly and was professional and pleasant to deal with.

I called for estimates from a local Pittsburgh dealer to get prices on an AmSec, American made safe. The price was higher than online, but I wanted to deal local. Larry was in touch every step of the way. From the downpayment, to the shipping and even after the job was complete. He was professional and polite. Larry even managed to coordinate another local pickup of a safe at another dealer for me and have it delivered with his safe! Great company.

Ace Lock were great from start to finish. Setting up a time to schedule the service was fast, easy, and they were able to accommodate my schedule and find a time that worked for me. The technician phoned and let me know exactly when he would arrive. He arrived promptly and went right to work. He gave me an exact amount that each item or service would cost. Re-keyed the cylinders and installed new locks where needed very quickly and efficiently. All in all, I could not have received higher service than what was performed. I would highly recommend Ace Lock.

From start to finish the ACE locksmith was there to serve, as in provide first class service. He didn't take any short cuts and literally put the customer first by working overtime at no extra cost to get lock repaired.

The technician was very helpful in advising against replacing the whole set (handle etc). Instead he recommended a place to get it cleaned and polished. He came twice to install both the locks and the cleaned handle set. Overall, it was a positive experience. I highly recommend ACE LOCK.

The locksmith was very knowledgeable and professional. He arrived on time and finished in a timely manner. He not only installed the new mortise lock (and removed the old one), but he even did a little bit extra with the existing storm door and made extra keys on site.

I had a great experience with Ace Locksmith. Two locksmiths closer to my home were unavailable, and I was concerned that Ace--being farther away--would be delayed getting to take care of me. The operator/receptionist, however, said she would get someone out there right away. Within five minutes, the locksmith called asking for directions. Within another fifteen minutes, he was at my house preparing to open the pesky front door. The locksmith was prompt, knowledgeable and professional and had me back inside in a flash. I would definitely recommend the services of Ace Locksmith.

They were responsive and came when they said they would. It was expensive, but I did choose a special kind of lock that was more expensive. Other than that the work was good.

Great! I had previously called another locksmith and had trouble making an appointment with them, so I was glad to have a human answer the phone and schedule an appointment for the date that was convenient for me. I was called before the locksmith's arrival to let me know he was on his way. The job was estimated to take an hour, but it took far less than that. The lock was easily rekeyed and keys provided. The workman also noticed that the strikeplate was missing and was concerned that the door would not latch properly; since he had the right supplies available he replaced this too. I was pleased with the time, efficiency, and quality of the work.

The lockset on my front door was not working. Autumn who answered the phone was kind and courteous. The next day Mike the technician was 2 hours late, but I understood when it was explained to me there was an unexpected problem at the job before mine. Mike the locksmith called to say he was on the way, quickly diagnosed and explained the problem and gave me some options for fixing it. He not only solved the problem but made some adjustments to the door and it works better than ever. The price fair and I received an Angie's list discount. I am very pleased and will definitely use Ace Lock again.

The locksmith--Matt--was helpful, friendly, prompt, and efficient. He told me he has been a locksmith for over 30 years and I could tell he took pride in his industry and the quality of his work. I highly recommend Matt and, assuming Ace hires similarly high-quality people, I highly recommend Ace Lock Inc. They also gave me a 10% discount as a new home buyer, which was nice of them to do.

I had just bought a house and was changing the locks myself (not so handy woman here!). The deadbolt I'd purchased for the front door was larger in diameter than the existing hole, so I called Ace to have them drill the door and install the lock. Ace came out the same day I'd spoken to them (other locksmiths told me it'd take 5+ days before they could fit me in), gave me a 10% discount as an Angie's list member, and installed the lock with no problems. They even repaired the storm door closer that my movers had broken that morning, just while they were working on the front door's lock! I'm thrilled that they were so prompt and courteous. Should I ever need new locks again, I'll be calling them. They were even nice enough to pet my dog while he got in the way.

They were on time. The guy knew what he was doing. He had no problems figuring out the hardware that we had purchased. The rate was reasonable. I was perfectly satisfied.

OUTSTANDING. If I could rate it higher I would. I had called Penn Hills Lock and after 2 no shows I finally went on Angie's List to find someone reliable. I called Ace Lock Inc. and the secretary picked up after the first ring. She was VERY courteous and Tony the technician called me < 5 minutes later and was at my house in 30 minutes! After waiting almost a week for Penn Hills Lock to show I couldn't believe what real service was like. Tony was an absolute professional from the time that he arrived to the time that he left. He addressed the problem, found the solution, and then decided to check the dead bolt on his own accord, found that that didn't work, and fixed that as well... no additional charge... just the basic $77.00 fee for travel time and 1 hour worth of work. Incredible. I now have them on speed dial in my phone and they will be the only Locksmith that I use in the future.

They are very good. They're excellent. I use them weekly throughout the year. A lot of times they cut a key for me for free because they know I'm a good customer. I have been getting my locks vandalized with people sticking paper clips in the locks. They are pretty expensive on-site visits, but if you take it to the store the price is better. I wouldn't use anybody else.

Other than the front door, the installation went OK and the locks work well

We didn’t have any trouble with the service man. We had trouble with secretary or the receptionist when we called the second or the third time. We did get the 10% discount the first time for being a member of Angie’s list. The second time we asked them if we could get the senior discount or Angie’s list discount or both; she said we could get one or the other. We said we would like the Angie’s list discount but after they came out when we looked at the bill we realized we didn’t get any discount. We called the next day and she said we had to identify ourselves as Angie’s list members. We said we had informed her about it but she disagreed. My sister who had listed to the call confirmed it too; this was the only problem we had with them. It would have been easier if they would have asked us to get the dead bolt in the first place but we guess it was our inexperience though.

I called AceLock on Mon. This was not an emergency, so we scheduled it for Wed afternoon. Estimate given for services over phone. Arrived in time window specified (after 2P). Services were explained well, as well as options. Cost about $170 total to have our front door dead bolt and 2 doorknobs replaced; included a total of 6 sets of keys. Price noted included a 10% Angie's List discount. Would definitely use their services again if needed.

Excellent - could not have been better

I needed service first thing the next morning after I called, so that the furnace guys could get into my basement. The basement door would not open. I called several lock companies that could not accommodate me or said I would have to call back the next day or where I just got voice mail. This company was like companies of yore, when someone answers the phone who knows what she is doing and cares. I felt reassured and grateful. They arrived first thing, so that the work was done before the furnace people came.
