Description of Work: The scheduler (I can't remember names) was very polite and scheduled a Saturday appointment for me. The craftsman arrived a bit early, rekeyed three doors to have the same key, preserving the old hardware in the locks as much as possible, which contributes to the character of the house. He also installed strike plates and did some other work on the locks to ensure that they operated correctly--Excellent work.

Description of Work: I had a tenant that had unexpectedly vacated a property and took the keys with them. I live in Fl and the property is in PA, so this was difficult to deal with. Once Ace Lock had validated my ownership of the property, they worked with my agent to replace the locks and re-key the house

Description of Work: Had Ace re-key all our locks. Later, we had an issue with one of the locks and they came out, promptly, and fixed it with no cost or issues. Twice I've stopped by the store to have the key duplicated and Ace did it for free because I was a customer.

Description of Work: We had a deadbolt replaced, a doorknob and lock replaced, and locks rekeyed. The hole for the new doorknob and lock needed to be enlarged and it was done in a very accurate and professional manner.

Description of Work: The original 1920 front door lock set on my duplex was in total disrepair. I scheduled the service, and a very knowledgeable, efficient, friendly gent promptly arrived. He worked for several hours, and now that old lock set works like new! He also replaced one of the apartment door locks. I'm more than pleased, he did a wonderful job.

I would use these guys again although they are a little expensive - it is worth it knowing that they are reliable and do a nice job.

The service technician was friendly and very professional - a pleasure to work with. He got right to work, opened to door, and re-keyed the locks. His price was very resonable.

Description of Work: We have an older house with original locks and handles. The front door knob assembly fell apart. Loran of Ace Locks specializes in older homes. He has many years of experience, and is very professional. He came out to look at the problem, then returned a week later with the needed parts. a brass knob set, a split spindle, and he fabricated a brass plate for the inside of the door as the area was pretty chewed up over the years. He did the work as promised, was punctual, and we were very happy. At $143 for travel twice, over an hour of work plus parts, I am not sure how they make much profit. Two calls to the main number allowed me to set things up. The people on the other end were very courteous and efficient. this is one of the best contractor experiences my wife and I have ever had. We learned about them from Angie's.

Description of Work: Called to get a locksmith to fix my lock and over the phone the receptionist walked me through some troubleshooting to try before sending out a locksmith. She said if that didn't work to call back and she would schedule someone to come out. Her suggestions worked! she saved me time and money. I would definitely use them if i needed a locksmith in the future

Description of Work: We had new locks installed in our home. First I found Ace Locks on Angie's List, called and had an appt. set for a time that was convenient for me, the gentleman arrived in time, was so very professional, and respectful. The job was excellent, he cleaned up after he was done and he also was able to install another lock instead of making me make another appt. that was greatly appreciated since finding time to be home to do anything is quite difficult. The best part was the price, it was so reasonable. I wish I would have known about them sooner. Thank you Ace Lock

Description of Work: Back door lock wasn't opening. Locksmith came, said our old lock needed parts no longer available, replaced the door handle and lock with new better one, and synchronized it with our existing locks.
