Description of Work: They cleaned the exterior windows in my three story Victorian home.

Description of Work: Called owner for appointment and was given a specific date and time. The employee,Robin,arrived ontime and performed his duties efficently and ,when finished, ask me to inspect his work to see if everything was satisfactory. Windows were spotlessly cleaned in/out.

Description of Work: Had scheduled appointment for window cleaning on 10/07/11. Since I am a nurse practitioner, I needed to change my schedule as well as patient appointments to be there by 11:30 am which is when I was told they would arrive at my house. When the company was not there by 1:30 PM, I contacted the company who advised me they would call back. A few minutes later, I was told that I would be unable to have the job done that day since an earlier appointment had extensive cleaning to be done and that all of their workers were being pulled to that job. When I asked if I could re-schedule for the following Monday which was a federal holiday and which I had off, I was abruptly told that this was not possible since "a lot of people were off" and scheduled to have work done. So I used unnecessary time off for a job which was not done. I was then re-scheduled for 10/28/11. Same situation where I had to change schedule. Employees were to arrive at 12 noon. Again by 1:30 PM when there were not there, contacted company and was told "they are on their way". Finally arrined at 1:45 PM, nearly 2 hours past due without notification. Job was completed quickly, in approximately 30 minutes. One inside window and 2 outside windows were missed. The worst part of the entire eperience is that the person who was working outside did not completely shut off the water used for cleaning. Never thought to check since these people are supposed to be "professionals. When my water meter was read for actual amount used several months later, my water bill jumped from $28.00 in February to over $98.00 in March and over $70.00 in April. In addition, sewage for 3 months went from $36.00 to $174.00. Question: Are they going to reimburse for above with atotal cost above what I paid of nearly $300.00? I was especially disappointed considering I purposely joined Angie's List to prevent things such as what happened above from occurring. I will never hire this company again (can't afford it!!!0 and would not recommend. If this company is unable to meet obligations, then perhaps they should not be advertising with your company!!!!!

This was a new house so there was some construction debris on the windows as well as some of the windows still had the film on it from the manufacturer. These windows had been put in in 2009 and had not been washed, they were really dirty!

The person answering the phone seemed more interested in discussing his social life (divorced, girlfriends and dating). Although the discussion was not pertinent to my request, I still would have appreciated a quote for the job requested. Unfortunately no one ever showed up or contacted me again.

Description of Work: 3-D arrived promptly and asked me exactly what I wanted done. In addition to cleaning windows,inside & out, I wanted the screens cleaned. I had never seen such clean screens in all my years of doing it myself. I had only hosed them down in the past, 3-D actually scrubbed both sides wih a soft cloth, then dried screens and edges before putting them back in place. I was amazed to look through clean windows and wonder if the screens were there! I had a special request to change out the light bulbs in my entry chandelier as I haven't a ladder tall enough to reach it. Not a problem, he said.
