Everything went pretty well and according to plan. Scheduling an appointment was fine. They were able to come out within a day or two of me calling. There were two people here doing the work. I was a little disappointed in the price they advertised since their usual minimum charge was $140.

They did a great job getting that old refrigerator out of a door that was smaller than the fridge!

Very well, they came as scheduled; quickly carried out the debris and left. Nice and pleasant young men!

***BUYER BEWARE!*** While I had no issues with timely response or customer service as such, the interaction with 1-800-HAUL-OUT felt like bait and switch. The terms and conditions language intimated that the $20 paid would cover hauling of appliances such as washers/dryers/etc. What is NOT clearly stated is that the minimum charge for hauling anything is $140 and the $20 paid on the deal only covered the first $100. My husband and I were VERY surprised to be issued an invoice for an additional $40 after the team arrived to haul the washer away. Not quite the big deal that we'd imagined. Another member had mentioned a price dispute in their review and I thought perhaps it was simply a misunderstanding between vendor and customer, now I realize this is par for the course when dealing with this vendor. The hauling and the clean up work were satisfactory. However, please ensure you ask for a detailed price quotation for the items you're hauling. Read through the reviews of other members, too. I wish I'd paid more attention.

There were no problems at all. Cal and his associate were punctual and provided the contracted service. It was a pleasure doing business with a professional, efficient business like Haul Out.

the workers named Al and Grant ,,,were just a little late getting there but were very apologetic , they were very friendly and did a great job, i asked if they could give me estimate on some other junk i needed hauled n they were more than happy to do it, they did not act as if they were in a hurry and i like that, if i use this service again i will request these 2 as they were both very friendly and i would recommend this company based on their performance

The two guys who were here were just great. They were super nice and professional. Everything was carefully moved so as to not damage anything. The one piece of furniture was very heavy and awkward and they moved it like was nothing. I hope our pieces of furniture find new homes. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. This was our second use of them.

I manage the house at 733 S. Negley Ave for the owner who lives in Florida. The tenants renting the house collected empty boxes since moving in. I broke down all of the boxes and put them on the back patio for pick up. I purchased a $20 Groupon deal for $100 worth of garbage removal to use this date. Two men showed up from this company to remove the trash. They were very courteous and professional. However, after looking at the trashed to be removed, they said the removal would cost $350.00 minus the $100 coupon I purchased for a balance of $250.00. This price was totally outrageous to me but I had NO CHOICE to purchase it as I had all ready placed all of the boxes on the patio for pick up and it was due to rain shortly. WHAT A SCAM! Unless you are independently wealthy, I would NOT recommend this company for trash removal. The average person couldn't afford to use this service.

Provider arrived on time. He was quite professional and easy to work with. Very neat and completed the job as agreed.

Two young men arrived, they were thoughtful and professional. We discussed if everything could be recycled. Apparently this company is broadening their recycling capabilities.

Three courteous and friendly young men came out and removed junk from behind my shed and a few other loose items in my yard. My B rating is not against them but the company itself misleading on the pricing. I purchased the big deal for $20 for $100 worth of junk removal. So I assumed that's what the price would be. However, I was stunned by the fact that the minimum price for their service is $140.00 so I had to pay an additional $40.00 when they arrived at my house. I'm not saying that the service wasn't worth $60.00 {$20 + $40), but I was led to believe that the cost would be $20 for $100 worth of work. The deal should read $60 for $140 worth of junk removal. Again, nothing against the service the young men provided. I appreciated their help in cleaning out my yard.

I called and made sure they could remove our 48" console television. We couldn't give it away or throw out with the trash due to new laws. They said they could remove the television and compared to other places, their price was much lower. I set up an appointment. They came the next day, called ahead, arrived on time, and quickly removed the large, heavy television. Very professional and nice. Definately would use them again!

The two young men who came out and did the work were great. They were professional and personable, arrived on time, and completely the job quickly. I would be happy to have them do similar work for me again. My only complaint is concerning the price. Yesterday, I purchased the company's deal on Living Social for $100 worth of hauling for $18, admittedly a great price. When I called to ask if my deal would cover the removal of the TV, I was assured that it would. So, I was a bit surprised when I was told today by the workers that the minimum price was $140, and that my deal was really only good for $100 off of that price. Since they were here, I asked them to take the tv anyway, plus a few other smaller items. So, overall, I think I still got a good price at $58.00 for the work, but I do feel that I was somewhat led on by the gentleman who I spoke to on the phone yesterday. On the plus side, my receipt is good for $40 off of the next job, so the next time I have a sofa or some other large item to haul away, I will probably call this company first.

When the crew came on 4/30 as agreed, they knew nothing about Angie's list or the coupon I purchased. When they arrived early they initially indicated that the removal of mostly empty cardboard boxes would be 450.00 When I explained that there was no indication on the coupon regarding and extra fee they seemed clueless. This was the last day to vacant the storage and thereby avoid paying for another month.

They’re fantastic! The job went well and I’d happily have them back out.

I made the appointment very easily via the company's website for a two hour window during the next day. That morning, they called as indicated about 15 minutes into the two-hour window and were at my house at the estimated time. Price was agreed upon immediately and the items were hauled out and into their truck within about 10 minutes saving me trouble of putting any family members in danger of hurting their backs or worse hauling these heavy pieces up outside steps from back yard to street level. I paid by check and immediately was sent a receipt via email. I was totally satisfied with their responsiveness and professionalism.

Set up a time for this company to give me an estimate on removing some brush and broken concrete and bricks. They asked if I just wanted an estimate or if I wanted them to do the removal at that time to lock in the price they would quote me. I thought that was a bit odd to ask me to commit to removal before I received their quote.I told them I just wanted a quote. The following week on the day they were scheduled to come out, they called twice to confirm a time. Doing the second call I was again asked if this was only for a estimate which I confirmed. They NEVER showed up or called for the rest of that day. It was not until 2 days later that they called to see if they could come out and give me an estimate. By then I had given the job to another company.

It was difficult getting it scheduled and they weren't very responsive. They seemed to be very rush at that time and were not very interested in hearing what we wanted to have removed. The price was fine until they realized I got it through Angie's List and they became very disinterested in providing the service.

1-800-HAUL-OUT were very professional in their speech and their appearance. They were very personable, they definitely went out of their way to move stuff for me to take out to the truck, took their shoes off when they came in, the price was reasonable, and the two young fellows were just very impressive. I would definitely recommend 1-800-HAUL-OUT.

They were very helpful and they took more than I expected. They even cleaned and swept my garage. I have a clean garage now.

They took a lot of things that were ready to go. They asked if we would like to add something within the $200 bill and we could keep adding and we did. The only confusion was what consisted of $200 worth of haul out. It is apparently based on weight and how much place it takes in the truck. They did a good job. They did not leave a mess behind. It was a very merry and pleasant day. They had to take things out of the basement and up the hill to the driveway. They were honest in telling we could add more than what we had ready to go which was a plus and I appreciated that. I would tell others to talk to them first and how they determine $200 worth value of haul out. The price was really good but I haven’t spoken to other providers. They said to take a piano it would be a minimum of $250 and I am not going to give the piano for that price just because I can’t move it myself. I would ask others to use them to move things which are too bulky to move. Next time I will do some comparing before using them and if somebody else is offering something better then I will give them a chance.

I couldn't be happier. I was p***** from the get-go because I had extra building materials in my house (which I had paid for as part of a reno) and now I had to pay for someone to take it away but these guys were so awesome, I didn't mind spending the money (I mean, I did, but if I was going to spend it, I'm glad it went to them). They were professional, on time, fast, and even did a broom sweep after they were done removing all the materials! I will definitely use them again over the years as we plan to do more renos and I am going to mention them to all my friends which includes several contractors.

Their service was excellent. They came on time and did what they said they were going to do and hauled out a little more than what the coupon was for. They met my expectations totally and probably a little bit more. They were quickly available and I'd used them again.
