Description of Work: MJ FLAHERTY was called to quickly fix a leaking pipe and broken regulator on a Friday. Immediate service resulted in a quick repair and a reduction in the noise that was from the broken regulator. The owner was exceptionally polite and followed up the next week with advice on how to get a replacement shutoff knob (the previous plumber – different company), broke but did not replace. After searching on my own with no luck, Mr. FLAHERTY sent a plumber to my home in the next week with several different handles. Within a minute, we found a replacement which fit exactly and saved me $300 by not replacing the main cutoff value.

Description of Work: They did a poor job replacing a gasket on my toilet. They charged $470 just to replace the gasket. They gave me an up front cost of $220 to fix the toilet then threw another $250 on top of that as soon as they had my toilet torn apart. I felt mislead and deceived. They even rushed the job and left a huge gap in my tile's grout that was not there before the job. As the tech was walking up my stairs he banged his heavy equipment off of my freshly refinished wood stairs. He made no apologies after he did that right in front of me. I was very disappointed with their "follow up" to fix their mistakes. The lady that works the phones promised someone would be at my house in a few days. The appointment came and went without hearing anything from MJ Flaherty. I was disgusted with this so I just called a different plumber to fix their mistakes. MJ Flaherty overcharges and under delivers!
