Description of Work: Service was to be initiated. When we moved in over teen days after service was to be initiated, we had no dial tone. Verizon said the problem was able to be corrected at their end. When we called them several days later as we still had no service, they said they had to send somebody to the house and that they had scheduled the visit several days hence. They had not notify us of this. Since I need phone service, I had cable phone service installed the next day and we canceled Horizon. On the data of the scheduled repair visit, several days later, we received a call from Horizon on our cell that they would not be able to come for another week to activate our service. This in spite of our cancellation. We are still being billed by Verizon for our service. The billing department claims to have no knowledge of any problems with the service. They state we had service and then canceled it!
