I only needed some minor patching on one ceiling. They did the job perfectly, quickly, and on time. I would be very unlikely to use any other painter for my needs.

They arrived on time and completed the job as contracted.

They're above average overall. They came on time and were very professional.

Fabulous. I gave the price a "B" because it felt expensive, but I think it was the work itself that was expensive and not the workers. The fellas were great. I found them to be professional and clean and courteous but also really fun. The work is perfect. I don't really need to expound because, well, perfect is perfect. A+ I would hire them again in a heartbeat and in fact wouldn't consider anyone else after this experience.

Had a great experience with R Chobert Painting. I called the office to request an estimate, and Mike called back in an hour or so. He said he could come over in 10-15 minutes. After inspecting the house, he made a very reasonable estimate and offered to come over the following day to paint the house. Although rain postponed the job, Mike called back as soon as the weather was suitable for outdoor painting just a few days later. The job was done very quickly and the outcome couldn't have been better. Mike was also kind enough to give me some tips on some other projects I was working on inside the house, and he ended up saving me hours of work that day - for this I am extremely grateful. All in all, this was a fantastic experience with R Chobert Painting and a fantastic result. It seems like my neighbor across the street also agrees because he mentioned to me today that he took down their number from their van outside for future paint jobs! Again, great work, great service, and great people. Highly recommend.

They did a fantastic job. After finishing the work they cleaned the house and repositioned the furniture. The house looked cleaner than when they started.

Called for an appointment on Monday to get an estimate. John said he could make it on Saturday. He said he would call Saturday at 7:00 am to confirm a time. I waited and he did not call. He finally called at 12:00 pm and said he'd be at my home in one hour. He showed up and gave me an outlandish estimate (which indicated to me that the job was too small for him). He told me to get other estimates, but remember he is licensed and insured (as if I would hire someone who wasn't). I asked how much he would charge to remove the popcorn ceiling and paint it. The estimate was $600.00. The estimate for the entire job was $1,395.00.

They did a really good job and they were very professional. I would use them again. On the last job, they got the color slightly wrong and then came back, the next day, and did it over again with the color I wanted. There was only a subtle difference, because the paint was from a different manufacturer, but they came back anyway and fixed everything for no charge.

It went extremely well. The prep work was exceptional. The paint job was very professional. Clean up was neat. They were on time and finished the job quickly. I would use them again.

My husband and I got in over our heads with a DIY repainting of our condo. We picked the wrong type of paint, ended up with paint on the ceiling, etc. Even though we had a ladder, there were areas we could not reach. And I had a deadline to get the condo on the market! I called Robert and he squeeze me in his schedule. The guys repainted the entire place, cleaned the kitchen and the painting errors, all in one day. They did a great job and I will definitely hire them again for our house! Highly, highly recommend this company!!

This is the second time I have used this contractor. They are not cheap, but I always end up feeling that I have received more than my money's worth. For example, I discovered after they left that they had painted a shelf above the kitchen window frames they were painting. The shelf had a knot hole stain and I had neglected to include it in the list of things to be done. They painted it anyway. They pointed out numerous other things that needed touch-up and did them at no additional cost. As this project involved virtually every room in my house, I had been dreading the inevitable inconvenience. Mike made it as painless as possible; he arrived (right on time) the first day with a crew of five or six painters, all of whom were skilled, efficient and hard-working. He organized the job, assigned the projects, supervised everyone and made sure that everything was done perfectly. He matched a wall color for which the old paint was no longer available. By late afternoon the second day, the job was finished and the clean-up done; my house was left spotless with everything back in place. This company is extremely professional; as a professional myself, I really appreciated the fact that my own commitment of time was reduced as much as possible and I was able to get everything back to normal in record time. I would recommend this company with no reservations whatever; they are terrific.

The crew arrived promptly at 8:00 am and were done by 5:00 pm. We left a paint sample and they purchased the paint and materials. The paint job looks beautiful, and there were no paint drops on any of the woodwork or floors. Nice work.

They do a very good job. They work very fast and do great work. They act very professionally, and always go out of their way to please their customers.

They were great. The work was done in two and a half days. It was beautiful. They did everything. They were better than any of the contractors I would have gotten. I did all the work in the house until a few years ago. I never hired professional painters so I don't know about their price. I guess their price was good. The walls look so pretty I am not hanging anything on them. They even re-hung my fixtures in the dining room and they put them up gratis. There were 4 guys and they would report every morning at 8 o'clock. They worked until 4 or 4.30 and returned the next day and did the same thing. The third day they finished the work by 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

After joining Angie's List and searching for exterior painters, I came across R. Chobert. I placed a call to the company which was answered quickly and explained the work that I wanted to have done. Within a half-hour, someone was at my door to review and provide an estimate for the work. I was informed that I would receive a call later in the day for when the work could be completed, which I did receive. I was told that the work could be done the next day and that they would be out to do the job after 12:00pm. They showed up when they said they would and completed the job in a professional manner. We had been trying to get this work done for almost two months with other contractors either not calling us back, calling but not showing up, or showing up and providing estimates and then not returning any future calls. R. Chobert was very professional, very punctual, and did the job well, and I would be willing to recommend them to anyone.

The prep work was exceptional. The color was not what I had requested because they were out of my color at the store and we were under a time crunch due to the approaching cold weather. I did not complain because the work was done so professionally.

The Choberts have a longterm and terrific reputation here in their own neighborhood-always a good sign-and I was happy to see that they do more than painting. Their price was 50% less than my highest bid, too. They showed up ON TIME, EVERY TIME and finished on time. Two other contractors had tried to convince me to let them sand and refinish 4 flights of stairs in the house, which would have made an unbelievable mess. Instead, the Choberts removed and refinished 50-some oak stair treads, repaired cracks, removed mold and water stains, and polyurethaned the stairs three times. BEAUTIFUL work. Thanks, guys.

The guy who came out definitely seemed to know what he was talking about. He was kind of high and he drove a Mercedes. He was nice. We might consider using his services in the future if we were a lot richer and had a nicer house.

Mr. Chobert came to give me an estimate. His price was more than double the other 2 estimates from Angie's list reputable painters. Much too high.

Excellent result on the job itself, and fast response was fantastic!

They did a fine job, were neat, and responded completely to my suggestions and concerns. They went out of their way to help with items that were not on the original contract (like finding replacement air conditioners and replacing broken panes of glass). I am very happy with their work.

Good work. Came in a little higher than expected due to some unknowns that I was aware of. They did a great job of keeping me up to date on costs and I was but very happy with the finished product. Very nice guys to work with. Will use them again.

Have used Chobert for several projects for both my home and business. They did a great job as always and matched the paint on the bottom section of our building and restored what they could of a very old fascade. Did the work over two weekends. They are very detail oriented and want you to be pleased with their work. They are dependable, honest and excellent craftsman.
