I took Mikes name from Angies list... I was happy with his opinion about refinishing the piece also by his enthusiasm.I thought the price was a little high... But his work is beautiful. He worked on it for a few weeks and then delivered it back to me. I would definitely use him in the future for furniture repair or refinishing.

Mike had to take the breakfront completely apart and the brilliance of his work shows itself in the wood's newness and beauty.The glass sparkles. The wood grain is stunning. At any sale this piece could go for $10,000 or more. But, it's staying with meforever because of Mike's careful and beautiful restoration. The drum table was much easier to work with, but its place in my living room anchors it as a beautiful traditional home. You can't buy furniture like this for less than a fortune. I am extremely happy that I found Mike (a delightful man) through Angie'sList. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to give new life to treasured pieces.

The chairs had to be taken apart and reglued before refinishing. Same with the table and coffee table. Did a nice job on everything.

Overall it went very well. The estimate, time in the shop for the furniture to be refinished was spot on. The finished product was beautiful

Fabulous experience. Mike was punctual with pick-up and return, and the dresser looks fantastic. Can't really ask for more than that!

Mike came over punctually , examined the chairs, and gave us a correct estimate. He took the chairs and returned them punctually as planned, all in wonderful repair. . We are very pleased with his work, and would gladly use his services again.

Mike is a gentleman and a artist. I will do business with him in the short future.

I found Mike on Angie's List and I called him and two other furniture repair people for estimates on the table that was bleached. All three estimates were similar--between $800 and $1,000 and between two and three weeks to do the work. We went with Mike because he asked a lot of questions about our table, which made us think he would really give the table loving care--and he did. He picked the table up at our house at no extra charge and delivered it a few weeks later, working around our schedule for the delivery time. The same day he delivered the first table he picked up the second one. Again, he delivered the table at no additional fee, and made sure we were completely satisfied. For both projects, I called Mike after a week or so to check in and make sure that the repairs were moving along. He gave me a complete update, and also checked with me to make sure I approved of the pieces he found for us (leaves for the first table, and supports and casters for the second table). Mike is very personable, and is a true artisan. I would trust him with any antique piece of wood furniture.

They are great. They are a great service and he is a really good person.

Mike looked over the broken chair. He took the chair apart and made several adjustments, put the chair back together. In less than one half hour my chair was as good as new.

I took over the chair that need repair. He gave me a fair estimate and had the item ready when he said it would be. After I saw his work I took a 2nd chair

I have used Mike to refinish several pieces of furniture. I have brought a few beat up pieces from Craigslist and Mike has refinished them, making them look great! It's just him with maybe another helper if the job calls for it. I has offered to pick up pieces and has dropped off the finished product. He'll bring assistance if he need to but usually I'd help and he'll help but the piece in the proper place. I have enjoyed working with Mike and if I stumble onto other pieces that need refinishing ... will contact him no problem!

He's just an individual guy with a shop so he's not a huge operation. He did a good job. He came out and picked up the furniture. He gave me a price over the phone, which was pretty fair, and he returned it when he said that he was going to. He was great. I would use him again in the future.

Mike did a great job. He was very receptive when I called him. He works out of a warehouse near the Tacony Palmyra Bridge. I brought the door and hinges to him, and he was able to complete the job in about 4 days. The door looks good, but the hinges and plates look even better. I was very happy with the service and the price, and I would definitely use him again.

This man does very good work. He laid a protective covering over the floor when he worked on the table. He does very beautiful work and I was very satisfied. He was recommended by my husband's secretary.

This is truly a diamond in the rough. Workshop is near the Tacony Palmyra Bridge in an old warehouse with 4 cats running around. Bob's work is clean and professional. His prices are reasonable. You have to bring the furniture to him. His workshop is full of antiques that he is in the midst of refinishing. He usually has the job completed within a week (I have had other work completed by him). Don't expect a flashy workshop because you won't get it...but you also are not charged flashy prices.
