I contacted Michael's Brick Reporting for an estimate to remove the old mortar and repoint the 2nd floor portion of the front exterior wall of my house. Mike was quick and on time to come out to estimate the job and provided a detailed breakdown of the cost for each section of wall to be repointed. After several months I contacted Mike to see if he was still interested in the job, he responded positively but said he was in the middle of another job and promised to contact me a week or so before he was ready to begin the work. After several weeks of not hearing from Mike I contacted him via phone at which time he said he was still on another job delayed due to weather and would call me in a week or so. After over a month without a phone call I gave up on Mike and had to start the process of finding someone else to do the job. Better communication would have saved me a lot of time.

Mike and his workers were prompt, professional and courteous. Mike was on site just about everyday. He addressed all issues immediately and would often call me back in the evening. He was honest about what needed to be done and what he felt didn't need to be addressed. I would definately recommend Mike and his workers for your masonry needs!!

Michael was the first to respond to our inquiry on a bid. He responded prompted and arrive when he said he would. His price was competitive and he broke the bid down so we could do all of the work at once or just the immediate emergency. His crew was timely and as we are in Old City area they worked around traffic, parking lots, and business and we had no complaints from neighbors or surrounding businesses. Michael took the time to walk us through all the areas that needed repair and to explain the work that was done and completed. They completed the work promptly and slightly earlier than expected and within the bid price. The work was done well and Michael's professionalism from providing the original bid to walking us through the completed work was an excellent experience.

I got multiple bids and Michael's was the cheapest by far. They came and did the work a week after the bid was submitted. They were friendly and extremely respectful while they worked. It was a great experience and I am very happy with the work that they did. I have already recommended them to friends and will call them again.

Mike came and gave a detailed estimate of required work. I also got 2 other estimates, They were not as detailed, and a little more money. I called and scheduled the work with Mike, and it was completed as per estimate. $1375 For a small additional charge he will return and caulk the front windows that were not on the original estimate, I felt that they needed to be done.

They cocked all around the 5 windows and they did not find any leaks. They were very responsive and came out right away. They did the work the same day my husband called them.

Great! Mike is a first-class mason, attentive to details. When his men don't get it right, he goes back and makes them get it right. Plus, while he wants to do things the best (often most expensive) way, he's willing to work with you and your budget. He also came out on very short notice when my roofer needed some chimney repairs done the next morning before he sealed up the roof around the chimney.
