Description of Work: Karma Diva has been cleaning my house for a while now, every 2 weeks. They do an excellent job, very personal service. I love the fact that they send me reminders via email that they are coming, and also that they accept PayPal payments. They also use green cleaning products, so that's a great bonus. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: Not every company works for everyone. The cleaning was adequate. Even though I specifically mentioned a couple of areas that needed cleaning, they were not done. A couple of days after the last cleaning, we found small cobwebs in places that should have been a no brainer to clean. The real problem was when one of the girls told the owner that one of our dogs growled at her. We weren't really given a chance to respond to her accusation. The phone call we got was pretty much that what the girl said was a fact. I was here that day and never heard a thing from the dog. I would have been there in a second to intervene but there was never a problem with the dog. If in fact there was a problem, why wasn't I notified immediately before they left. We were also told that this same girl has an allergy to dogs. If this truly is the case, why would the company send her here knowing full well that we have dogs. Overall, we were quite disappointed because it seemed like this was going to be a good relationship.

I am sorry to hear of your disappointment. I was very clear that the dogs were not to be in the house during the cleaning. Had this request been respected there would have been no issue. I do not see that there would have been motive for our cleaner to make something like that up. We did send other people to clean for you after the incident and we're told they were doing a very good job. In short, there was nothing we could have done differently. I am sorry this did not work out.

Description of Work: Kirsten at Karma Diva sent two ladies to clean at my mother's house for 3 1/4 hours. There was a little hiccup with the arrival time due to some car keys getting locked inside the house at a previous job. I got a call from Kirsten and she let me know they'd be a little late. The ladies worked hard for the entire time going under the beds and scrubbing the bathrooms thoroughly. I appreciated their "green" approach to cleaning, using just two products, Murphy's oil soap for the furniture and distilled white vinegar for everything else. A little more attention to the tops of dusty picture frames would have been good. I would have liked to see the ladies bring a small step ladder to the job so they could see the tops of those frames a little better. Overall a good job and I would hire them again.
