Company is professional and courteous. Called within a few minutes of getting our info. Reviewed all of our options and scheduled the appointment the next day. Job was completed on time and I would recommend them to any one that has a mold issue.

They are polite workers, timely as scheduled, quick to respond: came out the next day for assessment, & convenient: did the treatment on a Saturday. 👍

What a wonderful company! It's rare today to find a contractor that was so responsive to our call. Al came out the day after we spoke to him and took samples from various surfaces in our basement. Test results were back in 2 days and test results revealed the presence of mold in our heating room and in the basement bathroom. Al uncovered a leaking pipe from our sprinkler system. This leaking pipe was in a closed cabinet in the basement bathroom and probably would have gone unnoticed until October when our sprinkler company came to shut down the system. So our water bill would have skyrocketed and mold presence would have probably been much more extensive., We spend a lot of time in our basement gym and playroom as do our young grandchildren so we wanted the situation taken care of immediately. Our plumber came and repaired the leak and Al was able to squeeze us in within 2 of getting the leak fixed.. Al and his crew arrived as scheduled and within a few hours all the compromised areas were cleaned and treated. They were so quiet and worked so efficiently we barely knew they were in our home. They left the basement area totally clean and ready for use. We cannot speak more highly of J & A Environmental Services. The whole process from their initial visit to mold removal and mitigation took only a week and was totally seamless. We would recommend them again without hesitation. Thanks Al and crew!

Very impressed. Al quickly returned my call and came to inspect with John the next day. They confirmed that I had mold in the master and hall bathrooms as I suspected, and also discovered mold in the attic. I received a detailed explanation about mold and remediation and they found a way to remediate one bathroom at a time, sparing me the expense and inconvenience of moving out of my house. They provided detailed pictures to my insurance company and answered my many phone calls. The day remediation of the hall bath and attic began the crew of six including Al and John arrived and covered my floors from the entrance way to the two work areas. The opening to the attic is through my master bedroom closet. They covered all hanging clothes and shelves in thick plastic and when the job was completed the closet was spotless. Al and John really care about their customers and show great respect for them and their property. They are great communicators, complete the job quickly and efficiently and leave the premises spotless. They even were kind enough to leave their dumpster for a few extra days for my contractor to use at no charge.

I can’t say enough about these guys. Extremely polite they explained step by step of what they were doing and kept us informed of what was going on very neat and clean. They go above and beyond to do their job the right way. I highly recommend that if work needs to be done this is the company to call.

The service was excellent and the end result was breath taking. I was shocked at the results and completely blown away. They restored my home and I am forever grateful. John and Al were excellent to work with, I would highly recommend this company and their services.

So glad I was referred to them on Angies List. I have an attached shed to my condo. I noticed some mold growing on the walls. They called me right away and came out Wednesday 5/13. The owners and the work crew are very pleasant and removed all the mold. They treated it and fixed the issue. They kept in constant communication of what they were doing next. They cleaned up when they were done and left no mess behind. Priced very reasonable. You will be very happy with their quality of work.
