They did such a great job helping us remediate the mold in our basement! Super friendly and responsive and the process was really straight forward. Hopefully will not be needing to use them again in future, but if we ever do need to I would definitely hire again.

After they did the mold remediation, they replaced the drywall and painted the area that needed it. They worked neatly and carefully.

I am so fortunate to have touched base with J & A Environmental Services, after two companies with good references in my neighborhood were not able to solve the problem for me. So I had a leak in my sunroom and bathroom that had caused mold on the ceilings and it was still leaking. J & A identified the source of the problem right away and then did the mold remediation. The repairs were extensive but John and Al and their team did not rush through any part. Even cleanup was impeccable. They presented me with a completed, quality job, a guarantee that I am more than comfortable with, a sense of relief that this was taken care of and if necessary, any future issues could be handled. I would like to add that John and Al and their team are extremely professional and also nice. They do not forget the common courtesies like a reminder call to the client that they are on their way for scheduled appointments. When I initially called the company to tell them about the work I needed, it was a Sunday afternoon, but no matter, I received a call back right away and an offer to come out and take a look at the situation in a few hours. Of course everyone has to do the work, bottom line, but it is these extras that show an attitude to people and service that I find to be head and shoulders above the rest. I would not hesitate to call J & A Environmental Services in the future and I wish them all the best.

Excellent! I had barely finished posting my request on Angie'sList when I got a call to set up an appointment for an estimate. The work was scheduled right away, they came out punctually, and did an incredibly clean and complete job getting rid of the mold, documenting everything, and abiding by the quote. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

They did a great job! Explained the entire process and they worked fast and efficiently. They made sure the house was clean when they were finished. They helped find the source of the water issue and fix that as well. They also found an issue with my drying machine and fixed that as well.

It went great. I submitted a request online and got a phone call back within minutes to schedule an appointment for that morning. John & Al came in, explained the process and quickly estimated the work needed. The crew came out 1st thing next morning and further explained what they would be doing. John & Al physically checked in throughout the two days that he crew was here to ensure everything was proceeding as expected. Probably the best experience that I've ever had with any type of work done at the house. Reasonable, efficient, careful and transparent in their work and their communications. Nice Job!

These guys are great - very responsive and work hard. John (J&A is John and Al, by the way) answered the phone when I initially called, and we set up an appointment for the next day. They were not only right on time, but called on the way to let me know exactly when they would arrive. John and Al were both there for the estimate, and I had a description of the work to be done and an estimate within 15 minutes. We scheduled the work for two days out - in the interim, they communicated with me consistently, and the morning the work was scheduled they sent photos of the three guys who would be doing the work (one of whom was Al), and they were bang on time. The other two crew members (Charles and Q, I believe) were also great. The crew was very careful with the house - set everything up to prevent any cross-contamination, floor coverings down, etc. - and got everything done as promised. They even went above and beyond with a few additional cleanup items. I highly recommend John and Al - very responsive, know what they are doing, have certified team members - and it's great to support a small local business. You will not get this type of responsiveness and service from one of the big guys. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks, guys.

J & A went above and beyond to accommodate our situation. After assessing the situation, they quickly gave me a price and the detailed scope of work. They were in constant communication before, during, and after the remediation effort. My wife has CIRS, which required extra precaution during the process and they accommodated our requests. Pricing was fair and Al ensured we were satisfied with the work him and his crew had done. I would surely consider them for any remediation effort.

We had a minor water leak in our new house and needed to remove the resulting mold. Al came the very next day to take a look and provide a reasonable estimate. He explained the entire process and even worked out a discount on the drywall repair. His crew came the following day and had everything taken care of within a few hours, including cleanup. His crew also identified some additional plumbing issues to correct so we can avoid more costly repairs in the future. This is a professional crew that is upfront about their pricing and does exceptional work.

I am very pleased with the work J&A Environmental Services provided. I had J&A and another company come to quote the work. J&A was extremely professional and very knowledgeable (types of mold, process, negative air, cleanliness, etc.). They provided a quote that evening with a scope of work with expectations which was very helpful to understand what the project would entail. They arrived promptly for the job this morning and kept me apprised throughout the day on updates. They provided recommendations for further insulation and repair which was welcomed. I was very impressed with their professionalism and cleanliness. They covered the respective areas and furniture with plastic wrap and were cautious with paint on the walls which I appreciated. While I hope I won't have mold issues in the future; I would highly recommend J&A Environmental services for any household mold issues.

The crew was exceptionally professional, on time, friendly, efficient and knowledgable. Al explained in detail everything that the team was going to do to make sure our basement was clean and to prevent mold. The price was VERY reasonable. I can't say enough good things about J&A. From start to finish they were professional, responsive and caring. John explained everything they were doing and why they were doing it. Some of the techniques involved with mold remediation are extremely technical and they were able to simplify it for me so I understood exactly what they were doing and how it was making me and my family safer. Knowing that I was waiting on the mold remediation before I could have a plumber come in and fix a broken pipe in my crawl space, they sent out double the normal crew size so they could get everything done in time for the plumber to then do his work. All 7 members worked like the most efficient team I had ever seen and we started feeling safe almost immediately. They brought in all of this fancy equipment and yet cleaned up the place way better than it had looked before they got there. If I could give them an A plus plus I would and If I ever have a problem again or can use any of their other services I wouldn't hesitate even a second before calling them. I can't thank them enough and while I hope none of my neighbors get any mold or need any other type of remediation, if they did I would recommend J&A without hesitation.
