I contacted Guaranteed Plumbing for a slow draining bathtub. I was told it would cost $125, and if I paid with cash, there would be a discount. They said they would be out by noon. I received a call at 11am they were in the neighborhood. Perfect! The worker entered house (w/out shoe coverings). He was very pleasant. I said to him it must be hair causing the clog because nothing else went down the drain. The worker flushed the toilet, went to sink and turned it off and on, then went in the basement to check the pipes. He looked around for a few minutes, then announced he had to go the truck to get his snake. He returned with an auger that would not go down the drain due to the coil at the end. He stated he would have to go through the oveflow. The overflow cover would not come off. He asked if he could take it off (meaning brake it) I responded no. He took out a plunger and half attempted two times and gave up. He told me he was unable to clear the drain and the tub needs waste and overflow. I asked how much it would cost and he said someone else would call me back with a price. He packed up his instruments, went back to his van and returned with a bill for $50.00 for a service fee. I was furious. I still had a clogged drain. I should have billed him $50 for dirtying my floors. I had taken the day off of work for nothing. I called back to the office and asked for the manager to dispute the fee. He was unavailable at the time but, later called me back. He let me know he already spoke with his worker and he would stand behind him and service fee. He stated his worker did not want to stick a snake in the my lead pipes. To do so could cause damage. I asked if there was only one type/size snake that did not have a coil on the end. He stated there was only one. Seriously? My neighbor's son was able to open the drain with a plunger. I was really hoping "Guaranteed" meant just that. But, in my case, it was not. I will not use them in the future. Some plumbers do not charge a service fee if they cannot open/unclog a drain. I will call them.

They were very good. Last October I have to purchase a new heater. There were a lot of problems in making a new heater fit in an old house. All kinds of problem with it and they were so good at what they did and they continued to do everything. When you say guaranteed, they're the company that really guarantees what they do. They came right out instantly and took care of the problem. That's the service you'll like to deal with. I think they're very fair. All the plumbing that they do is way above average. They're just very good workers.

The salesman Harold quoted the repair for $2000. The guys came out, dug up my side walk and jabbed holes in the lateral. They said the problem was something other than what Harold originally quoted. The guys poured some type of concrete patch on the holes they jabbed in the lateral when I wasn't looking and made the problem worse. The 1/2 of the basement was covered with feces and sewer water. Thank you Guarenteed Plumbing! Guarenteed to rip you off!!!

The cost of the extra repairs seemed high, but since the heater installation was such a good deal, I came out even.

That was good. That was a year and a half ago. No, it was just what I expected. They came and did what they said they would do and was no hassle. I had to make sure there is somebody here and they were. I think, they have to go back and get some parts and come back again, that was not a problem. They were very prompt, and once they were done, it was fixed.

I purchased the new Gerber toilet installation. The provider was prompt and did a great job installing the toilet. I gave a B for quality because the seat provided with the toilet was a very hard commercial grade seat. Other than that, the toilet is a good quality water efficient toilet.

I was very satisfied. They truly went above and beyond the call of duty. They had to bring my forty-eight inch sink/cabinet by way of the second floor sliding glass doors because it could not get up my stairwell.They brought it up on a ladder! I just knew I would have to settle for a smaller unit but they were able to get the job done and I was very pleased.

Two very g*** looking guys came in and fixes it within 15 minutes

I waited until 6 p.m. for them. Now I need to find a resonable company to do the work, The crew at the cost of labor for about 2 hours and material ( three shot off valves and about 12 feet of pipe) - $600., addiitional $200 to put drywall back to cover the opening in the wall. They told me that they will need to reset the toilet as part of the work. I don't know, may be this is a reasonable cost.... It is a lot for me at this point.

The water heater installation was flawless and fairly priced. I had gotten several other quotes and looked at reviews so I felt comfortable accepting the service agreement. The guys pulled up in the guaranteed truck and 2 hours later they were leaving. Initally, I was a bit put off because I called and set up an appoint for what I thought I was the install only to find out that they were only able to do an estimate and were hopeful that the install would happen later that day. This was perhaps a miscommunication and could have been very inconvenient to many but thankfully I had taken the day off and they were able to come out later in the afternoon to do the job. The price that I ended up paying was a couple hundred dollars more to get some valves and connections up to code but in all fairness the quote was provided prior to them seeing what was involved in the install. Overall, I was happy with the service, the guys were pretty neat and my hot water has more pressure and is working like a charm.

I wasn't pleased. When I called I thought that my A/C line was clogged and that the A/C needed regular maintenance. For those services I was quoted $110. When he got here he found that the A/C line was fine and I was told that the A/C unit never needs maintenance, which has not been my experience. Instead he said the problem was a cracked plastic nut on a sink trap.It's a part that must cost less than $1. The fix was fast and instead of adjusting the charge for a repair that was much less costly and time consuming I was charged the same amount! I will never use Guaranteed again. I feel like I was ripped off!

My wife and I are extremely happy with what John and Mark did. They were excellent! We will always request John and Mark for any future jobs. Everyone at Guuranteed was great,including;Theresa/Cust.Srv.Dept.,Harold Kramer who came out and gave estimate and Eric who helped ans. additional questions we had were all as nice as John and Mark. We give Gauranteed A+ and 5 stars for a job well done!

The experience was a good one. Came out quickly. Installed a new faucet (which I provided). He came so quickly (ahead of time ) I hadn't removed anything from under my kitchen sink. I apologized and was going to remove the items (of which there were many) when he said he would do it (I thought that was very nice of him). He removed the items, changed the faucet, cleaned up after himself and took the old faucet, boxes and (trash) with him and thanked me. I was amazed at how quickly he performed this service and cleaned up. He was very polite too. This is a great company. They are now my go to plumbing service provider.

They receptionist to the plumber were all very helpful and professional I will use them again. I did call them again when my kitchen faucet started to leak. I was very satisfied with that job too.

Guaranteed Plumbing was called to clear a sidewalk drain next to our house ($99) and they left a month warranty for the job. Not three weeks later we had sewage backing up into our basement. We called Guaranteed Plumbing at 4PM, they first promised us a call back. When no callback materialized by 5PM, we called again and were informed by their answering service that all the plumbers went home. We got a local plumber to re-clean the drain the next morning and a Guaranteed Plumbing van showed up by the afternoon, the workers were given the wrong phone number by the dispatcher. We sent Guaranteed Plumbing a certified letter asking them to honor their guarantee (we had to pay the other plumber $175 to re-do their work), but we never heard back. If you need to have a sidewalk drain cleared, call John Anderson and skip these clowns.

My new ToTo toilet stopped flushing properly shortly after I moved to my new condo, and shortly after holding a party. I assume something was flushed that shouldn't have been. I was unable to unclog by plunging. Called Guaranteed, they came promptly as scheduled. Serviceman both snaked and plunged toilet. In a few minutes the toilet was working. Serviceman was very professional. He cleaned up when finished. I'm very pleased with the service and will use them again, if necessary.

he arrived 1 hr. after called - it was an emergency, they were forecasting torrential downpours in that afternoon and 1 hr. after he left we got clobbered . my driveway to the garage slopes downward pretty bad , would've flooded my rec room and the neighbors . Thanx Guaranteed Plumbing

I called Guaranteed Plumbing & Heating Inc For a Remodel Job. They were quick with a reply and professional in all dealings. Due a Scheduling issue on my end I did not use them to perform the job. But based on our interactions I would call them back and use them in the future

They were very professional, did a good job at a good price. They cleaned up after them selves.

The company responded very quickly and Harold was very informative and nice. Harold came out twice and when I signed the contract the very next day the furnace was installed right before it snowed. The men that installed the furnace Joe and H were friendly and very good. They cleaned everything up and there was no mess. I am very pleased with the service and I would use the company again!!!

Got another quote from another plumbing company and Guaranteed came in under $1000 less. Guaranteed not only replaced the pipes, they widened the outside drain opening and installed a new drain cover. They also replaced two shut off valves inside the garage without charge. Well, let me tell you when Hurricane Irene struck Philadelphia, I didn't get one drop of water in my basement and I think it was all due to the drain work that Guaranteed did. In November 2010, I called about both the sink and tub drains being clogged in my upstairs bathroom. The plumber said it was probably caused by damaged pipe under the floor in my upstairs bathroom. When the floor was dug up, the pipes were found to be rusted, leaking and deteriorated. Guaranteed replaced all the underground pipes in the bathroom and the tile floor. They finished the job on time and did a beautiful job. Guaranteed also got me in touch with an insurance adjuster who handled the claim with my insurance company and the whole job didn't cost me anything! August 2011 - I had arranged weeks before for Guaranteed to come out to replace my kitchen sink and garbage disposal this past Saturday. This was the same Saturday when the weather forecast was for Hurricane Irene to come through the Philadelphia area. When the plumber didn't show by the 8:30 a.m. time he promised, I figured it was due to the weather. Well, at 12:00 noon I got a call from Ray from Guaranteed that he was running late and would be out soon. I asked Ray if he still wanted to come out due to the weather report and he said without hesitation absolutely. Ray and Ariel arrived shortly thereafter and immediately got to work installing the sink and garbage disposal. They completed the work within an hour and a half and did a great job.

Did not hire them due to high estimate.

Fast, courteous, clear, professional. Will use again.
