Finding The Grout Tech as a highly recommended service provider on Angie's List is one of the reasons why I will never hire a contractor that does not have an excellent Angie's List rating. Andrew showed up exactly whne he said he would. He had taken the time to explain in detail the processes he would use to "deep clean" the ceramic tile floors in two of the bathrooms in my home. There were absolutely no surpises, and the bill was less than I expected. The Grout Tech is simply The Best!

I am very pleased with the results and with Andrew?s work in particular. Kitchen looks fantastic-the floor tile (with the refinished grout) looks new again. Colors match perfectly. The master bathroom was more challenging- and I am also quite pleased with the result as well. Bathtub area, vanity, and floor are all significantly improved. Caulking job- and colors selected are great! Andrew made multiple recommendations as to color for both kitchen and bathroom and each recommendation was perfect. Andrew?s follow up, and follow through were great! I would definitely use Grout Tech again and definitely recommend!

Andrew is performed as he promised he would. He is scheduled to return to steam clean shower and bathroom floor and re-caulk shower and floor perimeter in Master Bath.

there's been He tapped the walls in several places and asked me if repairs had been done (probably just to find out if I or someone in the family had done them (no)---it was pretty obvious there had been repairs). He said the repairs had been on the surface and with a different type of grout, and now water has gotten behind the patch grout and cleaning would not be simple. He agreed that I might as well replace the shower. He recommended some cleaning products and some advice for cleaning showers in general, He seems trustworthy and knowledgeable.

Excellent, Andrew was on time with an assistant and worked through the day. The job with two people took from 8 to 4:00pm. When Andrew was finished, the floor looked like a new floor. He also reviewed cleaning and care. Price was very reasonable and I highly rate and recommend Andrew.

Andrew was very responsive he was prompt, did a great job and was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him as a matter of fact I already have a list of project for him to do.

I called him to repair grout that was coming apart in my master bathroom. He said that he would be near my condo today and that he would call me when he was finished the job that he was coming into center city to do. He called, came over and looked at the tile in the bathroom and told me that the grout did not need to be repaired; all that was necessary was to silicone the perimeters where the walls met. He was very neat and courteous. His charge included the parking fee he had to pay.

Everything went great, he did an excellent job. He was even under the quote he gave me.

Andrew was prompt, courteous, and comprehensive in the job he did for me. The floor looks like new with the grout as clean as when it was installed. He was respectful of my home putting drop clothes down on my family room carpet through which he walked and drop clothes down on my granite counter top before he put the bottom oven drawer on the counter allowing him access to the floor under the stove. He gave me a gallon of the correct cleaner to use in order for me to keep the floor looking clean. I did call him regarding what I thought was a white mark on the marble transom between my kitchen and foyer. (Please take note cleaning the 3 transoms in my kitchen were NOT part of his job). Not only did he return immediately and correct the problem, but he gave me some different cleaner to use on the transoms. The white mark was in fact a clean spot on a dirty transom. Andrew was kind enough to then clean all 3 of my very dirty transoms with no additional charge. Thanks, Andrew, for going above and beyond what the contract required.

I am thrilled with the results; the floors look awesome, way above and beyond my expectations. I had some loose wall board tiles in the powder room that he reset, glued into place and regrouted. The shower is excellent; the last person who did my shower grout 'painted' on new grout which started to peel off within a month or so. Andrew removed all the remaining/peeling painted on grout, cleaned, and where needed, repaired the shower grout and it looks fantastic. He also removed soap scum build up on my tub and the shower tiles. He returned my initial call promptly and was punctual and professional for the estimate and on the day he and his assistant did the work.

The results are truly amazing! The floor looks brand new! Andrew was professional, courteous, and did a wonderful job. I'm so impressed with the result.

Not sure what happened. Andrew was very professional when he came to our house to provide an estimate. The price was right. He was scheduled to come on a Saturday morning and called us on his way saying he had car trouble. My husband told him to keep us posted. We never heard from him again after that. We expected to at least get an update from him later that day. My husband called a few days later, left a message and we never received a return phone call. It's very unfortunate because we were really looking forward to having the work done by Andrew and thought the price was reasonable.

I have a one bedroom apartment and I asked Andrew to come out and give an estimate to clean my bathroom: recaulk, clean shower walls, clean shower doors, and clean the floor. I decided to use Andrew because of all his positive reviews on Angie's List. His estimate was $390 and he said it could be less based one the time spent for the job. This estimate was too high. It's a small bathroom and after reviewing the prices from the other reviews and other companies, I think this basic estimate was too high. I also asked Andrew to clean the tile in the small entryway to my apartment (total 915 sq ft apartment). He charged $130 to Steam Clean Alkaline and Acid Wash, Colorseal all grout (2 coats), machine buff floor. He said it took him 4 hours to clean this floor. Overall the job took 6 hours. He was with an assistant. The bathroom tile floor and entryway tile (foyer) look very good. He did an excellent job with the colorseal. The bathroom did not go so well. The shower tile looks ok, but not what I had anticipated. He took the shower door off the rail, but was not able to clean the rail or remove the mildew from the shower door. It looks exactly like it did before I called him. I did not get a price adjustment for this and I am disappointed. Andrew is nice and professional. He is courteous. Overall, the floors looked excellent, but the shower, tile, shower door did not meet my expectations. I think $520 for this job is too high. I bought a new door and am having it installed ($300). I would just go this route and forgo having him clean the shower door. I would also recommend gutting multiple estimates as I think this job was overpriced.

It was fine. He was very nice. He came out when he said he was going to come out. It worked out fine; it was good. He did get back to me when I contacted him. He showed up on time for an estimate which a lot of contractors don’t do, so that was appreciated.

I learned fairly quickly that for Andrew, grouting is an art-form and he takes his work seriously. During his initial visit he took the time to explain the difference between quality materials and the stuff I attempted to use from a local home-improvement store. His assessment was spot-on resulting in a better than expected outcome. My tenant is happy with her bathroom and so am I. If you want a punctual, personable, and professional who cares more about your bathroom tiling than you do (not even kidding) call The Grout Tech!

Andrew is a true and honest professional. I would highly recommend him if your shower/bathtub is in disarray. He walked me through everything that needed to be done and delivered! I had some patches of black mold and soap scum that just wouldn't go away no matter what I tried. Because of the Grout Tech, its as if they were never there. Thanks Andrew!

Andrew, the Owner, responded to my email promptly and within the week came out to remove the old caulk from two bath tub/shower and steam cleaned the grout areas and shower door tracks and applied matching silicone.

I contacted Andrew via email. He responded within the hour for details about the size of the job. Since his estimate came in under what I had budgeted for the project, agreed to his rough estimate with the understanding that it would be adjusted up or down depending upon the severity of the cracks/caulk portion of the job. He scheduled an appointment and arrived promptly for the 9AM appt. He set right to work cleaning the tile first and removing all of the old caulk. Everything was then recaulked and then sealed. All of the grout was returned to the original color. Andrew told me what he was going to do before he started and since I was home allowed me to check on things along the way. He was also helpful in providing product suggestions for keeping the tile and grout clean once he left.

It could not have gone better. This is a small business where the owner takes pride in his profession. He is polite, articulate, communicates well and does a great job at a fair price. Offered consultation and advice before and after the job, worked cleanly and efficiently, cleaned up nicely after he was done. Honestly, all home improvement transactions should go as well as this one has. I would recommend him to others.
