Description of Work: Repaired tile and tub joints with tile. |I wanted grouted seams to be regrouted but he pushed caulking for all seams. Ended up with a job with thick unsightly caulk seams that I was not happy with.

Description of Work: Andrew the owner came out to give us an estimate on replacing the grout. We had a new kitchen put in 8 yrs ago and they (Diamond) sealed both the tile and grout incorrectly. They (Diamond) then processed to remove sealer and painted the grout. The job was awful. Andrew honestly told us he could do it but because of the original tile work he a- said we and himself might still be disappointed in outcome (he is extremely great results outcome) and it would be costly. b- it would be expensive and suggested a new floor. As another solution perhaps much more cost effective and special cleaner and encouraged us to do it ourselves. So we are going to clean it ourselves and live with the imperfections. Andrew could have had this job we would have hired him in a minute. Going forward if another job comes forth we would be extremely comfortable in our home. To anybody looking for this kind of work look no further he's a man looking to do his best. He's integrity is unquestionable.

Description of Work: The caulk around the tub and the surround was replaced and the tile floor was cleaned and sealed. My bathroom tub looked awful- moldy and black - yuk! Andrew replaced it all with a better quality of caulk. He dried the area before replacing the caulk and made it look brand new. My bathroom sparkles. It was a pleasure to work with him .Andrew responded quickly to my initial contact, came out for an estimate, and scheduled the work in a reasonable amount of time. I would definately recommend him.

Description of Work: Unbelievably helpful and professional. Clearly they go the extra mile, they even brought our trash cans up from the street after the trucks emptied them! Excellent service and they did a great job. In this day and age it's great to find someone who values the service end of things like them.

Description of Work: Andrew (The Grout Tech) came to our house, and examined our very moldy stall shower. He stated that he didn't think that cleaning and re-grouting our tiles would be a permanent solution to our problem, due to the way our tiles were spaced. Instead, he suggested we consider having our shower walls "glazed", and recommended "Miracle Method", another Angie's List service. I give Andrew a lot of credit for his honesty, in not wanting to do a quick job, and take our money...which, he said, most people would do. I would definitely go back to Andrew, if we need other tile work in the future.

Description of Work: I was looking for someone to clean the grout between the tiles in our shower, regrout places where the grout was cracked and had holes, and seal up the places that were leaking in the shower. Andrew was incredibly responsive and within a week, he came to do an estimate. He arrived on time, and was very thorough and thoughtful when he communicated what the job required. He shared a lot of information, explained things very clearly, and answered all my questions. I was very impressed with his demeanor and professionalism. He also was very honest about what was absolutely necessary, as well as ways we could save money if we wanted to do parts of the job ourselves. I really appreciated his candor and felt like I could really trust this guy. He e-mailed an estimate for the job 2 days after he was here, and responded to a couple more questions via e-mail right away. I am still waiting for an estimate from one other company before I decide who I will use for the job, but chances are extremely high that I will use Andrew. I just really liked the way he approached everything, how honest he seemed, and how nice he was.

Description of Work: I had Andrew come out to re-grout my kitchen floor. Unfortunately, Andrew determined that re-grouting my floor would only temporarily address the cracked grout issue, but the real issue was that the floor needs to be re-installed with a proper subfloor. This is a sign of a business with integrity. The fact that he did not just do the job and take my money knowing that I'd have the exact same problem in a couple of years speaks volumes to me. He's also prompt and courteous. The only other thing I'd like to say about Andrew is that I wish that I had a job for him.

Description of Work: Andrew pointed out wmhat I had suspected: a previous owner had done a poor attempt at regrouting the tile floor of the kitchen and hall, failing to seal the grout or remove the old material. Consequently, even power cleaning couldn't whiten the grout. Andrew removed all the old grout and installed new, color-sealed material. He instructed me on the correct way to wash the new grout. Floors look grat!

Description of Work: He removed some bad caulk from the rim of my bathtub and replaced it with very high quality caulk. It was difficult to remove the caulk because it was so old and hardened, which is why he charged more than usual. He did a very neat job and I was pleased with the result and the time it took him to accomplish it.

Description of Work: I simply needed my master shower re-caulked, with a little mold build-up over the last several years. When I called Andrew to come for an estimate, he asked if he could just come to do the job since he was about 30 miles away. When I asked for a "ballpark" figure for the cost, he said about $75-80. We scheduled for a Saturday morning, but he called on Friday afternoon, saying he was finishing a job that was rather close, and was it convenient for him to come then. It was, so he came. The job was a little more than he had figured, since the builder's caulk was very hard, and difficult for him to cut away. In the process a shard of this hard caulk went under his fingernail. Very painful and bloody. I suggested he stop and finish the job later, but he insisted on staying. He did a great job, and when we suggested that it might be worth about 50% more than his estimate, he refused. I did insist, though, and ended up paying him $20 more than he had estimated. Andrew is a delightful young man, clean and neat, polite, and very professional. I would recommend him highly.

Description of Work: Andrew removed the caulking from my kitchen counters and bathroom shower, tub and sink. He re-grouted all and did a beautiful job. He was very punctual, professional and honest. I would definitely call him again.
