Description of Work: rewired knob and tube through out the house and added overhead

Description of Work: Gen 3 employees were very nice and knowledgable. I did have a problem where I was invoiced for services that were not performed (very upsetting). However, once brought to the billing departments attention I was given a credit for the work that I paid for that was not done. Overall I would use Gen 3 again, however, I would not make them my go for little electrical repairs, and I will monitor very closely what exactly what is being done and what I am being charged for.

Description of Work: Gave an estimate with great detail and breakdown of several electrical jobs needed in my home. They were professional and I liked the level of detail provided in their estimate. Had to put off getting the work done as the cost was more that I expected. Would use this company when ready.

Description of Work: They wired two rooms for ceiling fans. The rooms did not have lighting in the center of the ceiling. They installed the fans, and switches.

Description of Work: They came to assess our problem first and then sent out a team to replace the circuit breakers in a sub-box, replaced the bathroom fan with one I provided, re-attached the lamp and made sure there was wiring for other fixtures on the same circuit.

Description of Work: Generation 3 Electric rewired our whole house to replace knob and tube wiring. Their price was fair, they showed up when they said they would, and did great work. They also cleaned up after their work each day, which was really appreciated. They were great to work with and we have been very pleased with their service and their work. Highly recommended!

Description of Work: I contracted gen3 to wire a new gas insert being installed. The put in a dedicated line into my breaker. The next step was to drill a hole into the fireplace cavity and install a metal recepticle box. |The work was performed quickly and is perfect. But what I appreciated most was the general advise and guidance they gave me on the gas insert (my first), and they even advised me on some pot lights on my porch. |Gen 3 of course had to coordinate with my chimney contractor/gas insert installer. |This has been a very good experience and these will be my go-to guys for any electrical work in the future.

Description of Work: Fixed a ceiling light that had fallen out of the ceiling and they capped two unused circuits in the circuit breaker.

Description of Work: I was especially pleased that the electrician from GENERATION 3 ELECTRIC INC allowed my contractor to follow him and ask questions. I got a much better understanding of the status of my electrical system because of that.

Description of Work: I got them to come out to go over my system, per the deal I purchased. Apparently the deal I purchased was best suited for a home buyer, not a home owner, though it wasn't clear in the description of the deal. Anyway, he arrived on time, went over my system, I explained the things I was hoping I could get estimates for repair/replacement, he said he would send me an estimate in about a week and I never heard another word. No estimate. No follow up. I suppose they got my $150 and that was all they wanted.. I heard so many good things and am very sad that they were non-responsive with any follow up or the requested estimate. They would have to make an awfully good argument for me to want to use them in the future because right now I am hugely disappointed.
